Two questions. 1. If Anakin killed Palpatine, Padme wouldn't have died, had the twins. Would Anakin be expelled from the Jedi order for being secretly married or be it's greatest hero for killing Palpatine, the with Lord and architect of civil war. 2. Doku wanted to create his own Jedi order, would he continue that ambition after Republic surrendered?
I think Dooku would've created his own Sith Order, taken a Sith Apprentice, and possibly many Dark Jedi Apprentices (Dark Acolytes) (not actual Sith). However, it may be much more tempered and restrained than the Sith under Palpatine, but less idealistic, dogmatic, or moralistic compared to the Jedi Order
Dooku's preference for Obi-Wan Kenobi instead of the hotheaded Anakin indicates a much stronger preference for realpolitik over raw power. Palpatine came to power via careful political maneuvering, but after taking the throne, he became increasingly less cautious and even complacent in some regards. True, he outmaneuvered many plots against him by Rebels or Imperial factions, but his focus on power and fear caused him to overlook many mundane threats as well as less confrontational, cautious methods of conflict resolution.

Whilst history technically bares no part in Star Wars there are copious references throughout, _it's like poetry, y'know... they rhyme_ , but it is historical that trying to kick a war hero out of a major position like what Anakin holds doesn't go down well. Take people like Patton or Rommel, both were brilliant and challenged their establishment, rather than either being rewarded, listened to or even ignored they were most likely both, although certainly Rommel was, executed on the orders of that establishment. Now whether or not Anakin could have fought off an angry 100 strong Jedi hit squad is a matter for another fan fiction and another time, but in theory they may have got him with a Commando attack or otherwise killed him with some sort of bomb in his car or even "hey Anakin go to this super far flung planet we sense sith and _you are totally our bestest favourite dude so you can take it by yourself_ " and then when he arrives the ship that drops him off gets ordered to just *base Delta 0 the whole continent he was dropped on* and nobody is any the wiser...
In regard to Anakin being expelled, I have never quite understood the problem with Jedi being married/attachments. In theory everything is an attachment. In RotS Obi-Wan even admits a certain level of attachment to Anakin, I don't have the exact quote but he calls Anakin his brother and says that he pledged to the Republic, to Democracy. If Anakin had been killed by Dooku on Geonosis, who's to say that Obi Wan would not avenge his fallen brother and padawan the way he avenged Qui-gon? It is easy to see that he fights with passion to end Maul and likely spent a lot of time with Yoda meditating on the loss of Qui-gon. I understand that loss of a loved one is a path to the Dark Side, but that is such a vague rule. Certainly Jedi had friends in the Temple and there is nothing to say that those ties wouldn't lead a Jedi to the Dark Side the same as losing a wife. You can always make the argument that they would meditate on the loss with other Jedi to soften the blow but why could they not do that with the loss of a wife or husband or child?

Chara they would probably just fire it they wouldn't really care but honestly what I want is a series from generation tech of what would happen between the Cold War of republic and sepretists?
Unless they'd like plausible deniability and unlike this videos version they pin the death star on the republic for creating it in addition to firing it in order to rally more worlds to the cis, as it would be a clear example of the republic going to far and exhibiting them as anti freedom proponents, coercing worlds to stay rather than actually deserving them. Of course, after such an exhibition they'd "comandeer" the death star (despite being in control of it the whole time) or dooku would probably hide it away, or possibly destroy it to leave no evidence contrary to his claims (like geonosian architecture or whatever)
The CIS could have won without a superweapon - their droid army meant that they could produce soldiers far faster than the GAR, which gave them a huge advantage in a war of attrition. There's also the fact that their use of droids rather than living sophonts would mean significantly less war fatigue in the civilian population, causing the Republic to lose their will to fight first.
@@hudson_powell Even so, if the CIS can build 40+ droids for every clone the Kaminoans can produce they've still got a battlefield advantage. Even if they could only build exactly enough droids to match the clones joining the GAR, that's still to the CIS's advantage: Wars aren't won primarily by killing enemy troops or leadership (though those things do help), but by convincing the opposing side that it's not worth continuing to fight. The GAR included a lot more organic sophonts whose deaths the people back home would care about than the CIS forces did, so while the CIS were mostly looking at balance sheets the Republic was getting casualty lists. One of those is going to sap support for a war much faster than the other.
@@hudson_powell it was more like one clone = 10 battle droids at best. Yeah there are exceptions but the amount of unnamed clones we see get gunned down disproves that. + The superior droid models like the B2, the commando droid or the droideka are much more equal or even better than clones
I remember hearing a theory that the CIS was meant to draw in anyone who would have rebelled in the first place against the Empire and drag the war out far enough for Sidious to get the emergency powers and install himself at the top of the power structure. At that point, the CIS had been turned into a grinder to wear down the Jedi and weed out any more people that would have tried to stop the change from the Republic into the Empire.

I actually really feel bad for the separatists and feel why they thought they were fighting was justified. Frothy Walrus Grievous would take over the separatist alliance since Dooku and sidious were dead there was no one he feared or respected left so would just take charge and even though the separatist navy took a hit after the battle of coruscant he would more then definitely fight a aggressive war ignoring the political and economic sides of the separatist alliance meaning although he’d be successful on the battlefield the separatist alliance would probably crumble from neglect on the other hand the republic would be devestated at the loss of three of its biggest heroes but they would just elect a new chancellor who would not have all the powers of Palpatine but I think the biggest affect on the republic side is they wouldn’t have a Anakin and obi wan to lead the republic in grievous new aggressive attacks
@@pickle2636 Grievous was already the grand general of the droid army if he wouldn't be made head of the cis he would probably forcibly take over if the successor tried to shut him down.
I mean, the Seperatist also had a similar weapon (which isnt that wellknown since it appeared only in the "Jedi Alliance"-Video game). Sure, the Devastation probably isnt as effective as the Death Star and we never saw it actually firing, but it probably would have been easier to produce in larger quantities. Plus, i really like its name and the fact its pretty much just a Super-Laser-version of the Malevolence.
I doubt the Separatist could have kept it a secret until completion. People like to talk. Anikan would've probably been picked up and taken to the temple by Quinlan Voss since he happened to be on Tatooine at that time. Maybe he would've been trained by him as well. And Voss, who walks the line between light and dark would've sided with Anikan more than Obi-Wan making him less winey and more conscious of the balance. Darth Maul would still kill Qui-Gon, and then have to duel a vengeful Count Dooku. Palpatine would have a smoother rise to power. I don't know if Voss could be as good of a mentor to Luke as Obi-Wan was though.
@@GenerationTech Also at this point Anakin would have met his full potential and surpassed Yoda and Palpatine not to mention, Luke and lea would also be 6 year old padawans, and powerful padawans at that so, how would this factor into this situation?
The death star is actually a peaceful power station built to transmit energy across the galaxy. (The speed of light goes up as plasma releasing it goes up in energy). So, the death star from the beginning was built as an infrastructure project for the people , (which is how the funding was justified), and could not have been possible as simply a weapon,, therefore a military without infrastructure scale funding could never afford it.
Seeing how this is set 10 years later anakin at the time would be at his prime and possible the strongest force user in existence. He might have been able to destroy either the kyber crystal or the cannon itself using the force.
I love alternative history, and this is an epic break down, and honestly, its a far better ending for all that war then what ended up happening, where pretty much everyone lost in some way.
The CIS to me sounds more or less like the Rebellion version 1.0. I did like how subtle things were in that regard when it came to the OT. You saw why the Empire was to human-centric (Most of the leadership in CIS was Alien), you also saw why there was an anti-droid stigma (granted it was that one scene from ANH, but it was there) .
I have an idea for a video. What if the Clone army had adapted battle droids to serve alongside them? that would have helped bolster their numbers so the CIS didn't have such a huge advantage in attrition.
All these videos prove that if everything hadn’t gone according to Palatines long-winded plan, the galaxy would have been much nicer, and our favorite characters lives wouldn’t have been ruined.

Grievous: “Fire the superlazer!” B1 Battle Droid: “Its hard to aim this thing” Grievous looks at droid wondering how it missed the entire planet only a few kilometers away
I wonder how Grievous would feel about this. He was only in the war to get revenge on the jedi. Would he be satisfied with the results, or would he go rogue and take the Death Star to Coruscant? (I am assuming he would be in charge of the weapon.)
Although keep in mind clone commando squad Omega said that Palpatine was very inefficient and wasteful with his tactics for the GAR. He did this because he wanted the war to extend.
Pretty good scenario, altho I have a question. If Dooku is going to succeed Palpatine to lead the CIS, shouldn't that have occurred before the battle of Coruscant, since that's where Dooku died? That means Anakin needed to kill Palpatine way before that event, but Palpatine only revealed himself as a sith long after Dooku's death. I just want to know where the succession would have fit into this alternate timeline if Dooku is going to lead the CIS in creating the Death Star.
If the Jedi order is still operational with a Jedi hero, it's another like Star Forge superweapon mission. It might push Ankain to follow Reven's path. Elite Jedi force should focus on sabotaging Death Star's main reactor not the command center. Jedi hero should seek allies such as Mandalorian and Night Sisters (force cloak ability).
It’s a lot of fun, but this really is the definition of a guy with way too much free time on his hands. I can’t decide if I feel good or bad about that. Nicely put together though 🙂
you'd think with so many disenfranchised outer-rim worlds the CIS would of been able to muster an Organic based army for Occupation and as front line and naval officers.
They probably could, though it would be expensive as there’s no standardized armor considering the large alien populations. The core worlds have a LOT of people to.
One thing that really bothered me about the first Death Star is the Empire had no escorts for it and only a light scouting force of TIE fighters stationed on it. I would have had an entire fleet running support for it. True, it can easily blow up heavy cruisers and even battleships, but I would have made sure that it was impossible to even get the chance to damage it since it was so expensive to build. Then again, I prefer Thron over Tarken for general strategy and I would not have bothered building the Death Star when I could built multiple fleets to deal with insurgencies.
Since Yoda had proper health care (not living in a swamp can't hurt his health either) he would still be leader of the Jedi Council. I could see him using a trial that reviewed Jedi actions to point out the actions of those directly under Dooku's command. This plus other things they learned, like how Dooku created the clone army in the first place, might just be enough to have Dooku removed from power. Also Yoda being a cleaver little green man would offer to have the Jedi removed from the military and returned to peace keepers. Not only would this make the CIS feel like they had a great victory but also would restore balance to the force. The imbalance of the force was caused by the Jedi going to war. If they were to returned to a less violent role, it would stabilize the force. Win win and the two nations of the galaxy can begin to grow in peace.
@@lindlindlindlindlind But...Well,humanity has a home advantage. When we lose a tank,we can just get some material and rebuild it while the GAR has to transport it.
I noticed that the legislative hall for the CIS is based on the House of Commons in London. There must be a wormhole through which the two galaxies and times can make contact for somebody from that galaxy and time has obviously been to the Houses of Parliament!
The beginning you mentioned how the Separatists now had their own production facilities. Which made me think back to your video on the 10 flaws with the basic battle droid could the reason they used a durasteel composite material instead of the cheaper stronger plasteel of Republic Commando armor, be that they did not have the technological means of the inner sphere manufacturing depots to create lighter stronger materials en masse?
1:19 you're right about the seperatist senate...they take a few minutes to vote while the republic takes days, or even months to vote on a simple matter, don't get me started on bigger things like the blockade of naboo, that may have taken years without the jedi intervention
I always thought it was strange how my two favorite Si-Fi universes, Star Wars and Halo, have their own separatist movements, yet that them like the bad guys. Even though they had legitimate concerns that we're ignored. Yes, sometimes they would show a good Separatist, or Inserectionist, but it seemed like a "one good apple in a bad bunch" kind of way.
If I was Dooku I would commission an occupation droid ( say an aod agressive occupation droid) to effectively push into the core without being worried about my supply being cut off from a rebellion. Aod would be like a super battle droid but much tougher and with better scanners and weapons
Have you ever thought of doing any of these videos based on Boofire191's Earth in Star Wars series, it remains his most popular series. Basically a "What-if" scenario within a "What-if" scenario.
It might have been Anakin Skywalker, not Luke Skywalker, who destroys the Death Star with a well-placed photon-torpeedo? As far as alternative timelines go, that is pretty poetic!
To be honest palpitene basically made it so no matter which side won he would be able to .ake the death star but preferably wanted the order 66 plan so as to get rid of the Jedi the "heros" who could build a resistance against him so yes he originally almost needed to have the republic win but could with some tweaking work with both outcomes pretty scary it's like the old man playing chess against him self

This sounds really kind of cool and way cooler then what we got from the movies alone
This is a far better story than the movie - well done!
All these videos prove that if everything hadn’t gone according to Palatines long-winded plan, the galaxy would have been much nicer, and our favorite characters lives wouldn’t have been ruined.
You should do a theory about what would happen if the republic restarted enlistment along side the GAR
We should buiild one
I seriously doubt you'll be able to make Mexico pay for it
You should put most of your efforts on protecting that exhaust port.
After a petition* a few years ago, the U.S government released a statement that it would be economically irresponsible to develop such am expensive project that could be destroyed by a single seat fighter.
Of course this was under Obama, so I suppose that'll inspire you to greenlight it.
*the U.S. government has to give a official statement about any petition that reaches ten thousand signatures.
Mexico would go bankrupt paying for it
#weldonwin
We'll put them on an instalment plan.
If you do another video on how a star wars character would run the U.S. how would Mandalore the ultimate or deathwatch before maul, fair?
Will you do another video continuing on this timeline? Would there even be a Battle of Yavin?
Grievous: “Fire the superlazer!”
B1 Battle Droid: “Its hard to aim this thing”
Grievous looks at droid wondering how it missed the entire planet only a few kilometers away
I wonder how Grievous would feel about this. He was only in the war to get revenge on the jedi. Would he be satisfied with the results, or would he go rogue and take the Death Star to Coruscant? (I am assuming he would be in charge of the weapon.)
I think Dooku would try his best to hide it from grevious...
I mean if grevious gets his hands át the death Star then the whole galaxy is doomed..
Well this was actually a better ending IMO. :3
Alternate StarWars history, nice!
But if palpatine died we would never get that epic line
‘Execute order 66’
Shut up ur poop
Yeah then we wouldn't have operation knightfall or the 501st journals on it
Awesome story line. Except that given the Long period between engagements, I think Count Dooku would have time to build his own Sith Order.
Awesome video
The clone wars is like the ultimute war of star wars
As always, wonderful video!
My Favorite question of all time... What if?
why is this unlisted? its great!
It’s a lot of fun, but this really is the definition of a guy with way too much free time on his hands. I can’t decide if I feel good or bad about that. Nicely put together though 🙂
Ash Roskell haha for sure
you'd think with so many disenfranchised outer-rim worlds the CIS would of been able to muster an Organic based army for Occupation and as front line and naval officers.
The v neck is strong with this one
Long live the separatist alliance.
Love this guy.
HOW COULD YOU MISS A PLANET?! I CAN'T HELP IT IT'S MY PROGRAMMING!
How do the sepys go from “wanting freedom” to building a death star capable of destroying worlds?
They develop several superweapons during the war lol, they would totally build the DS-1
11:40 ALRIGHT FIRE!!! (BASHES HEAD ON THE BIG RED FIRE BUTTON)
Your description of the confederacy was actually a lot more thoughtful, sensical, and interesting than cannon Disney by this point.
I’d like to know what would of happened if Thrawn was a grand moff besides Tarkin in the original trilogy
Great video and great storyline
Are you still doing a GAR vs Earth series or has that been abandoned?
Ahem gar has fucking lazers
@@lindlindlindlindlind But...Well,humanity has a home advantage. When we lose a tank,we can just get some material and rebuild it while the GAR has to transport it.
Great episode Allen you like to see it as a movie live or cg/animated.Thanks again
Fantastic video! Loved the content.
Brilliant. Thank you
Wow this sounds exactly like what would happen good job bro did your research IMPRESSIVE MOST IMPRESSIVE
This would’ve been a better series of movies
I noticed that the legislative hall for the CIS is based on the House of Commons in London. There must be a wormhole through which the two galaxies and times can make contact for somebody from that galaxy and time has obviously been to the Houses of Parliament!
i love star wars and all of it's knoledge
I'm imagining General Kalani commanding the death star, would be awesome to see that
Admiral Thrawn commanding the battle at Endor/Yavin 4
If The Separatist created the Death Star, Coruscant probably would have been destroyed.
Wow! That would be so cool as a movie
Dooku: You may Fire when ready
Droid: Roger Roger
The beginning you mentioned how the Separatists now had their own production facilities. Which made me think back to your video on the 10 flaws with the basic battle droid could the reason they used a durasteel composite material instead of the cheaper stronger plasteel of Republic Commando armor, be that they did not have the technological means of the inner sphere manufacturing depots to create lighter stronger materials en masse?
1:19
you're right about the seperatist senate...they take a few minutes to vote while the republic takes days, or even months to vote on a simple matter, don't get me started on bigger things like the blockade of naboo, that may have taken years without the jedi intervention
“Feel the might this fully armed and operational... gun emplacement.”
- some random B1 in the Clone Wars DS game.
Imagine how many droids would be on the death star
That's one good looking thumbnail
I wish they made this into a series
I love your guys content so much
Ryan Murphy thanks dyan
Ryan dammit sorry
Looking good man! :)
I would love to see this in a SERIES or a MOVIE.
I wonder how many people died making the death star
I always thought it was strange how my two favorite Si-Fi universes, Star Wars and Halo, have their own separatist movements, yet that them like the bad guys. Even though they had legitimate concerns that we're ignored. Yes, sometimes they would show a good Separatist, or Inserectionist, but it seemed like a "one good apple in a bad bunch" kind of way.
The rebellion was an insurrection
Good video, I’d love for you to have done a video of each of the Jedi on trial.
I like it! This is exactly what should have happened during the Clone Wars. Long live the Confederacy of Independent Systems!
Really really love this episode, can you do a follow up on how the republic deals with this massive loss? Please?
That's an interesting scenario. I think Disney or whoever should do a Alternate or What if Timeline in Star Wars Universe.
This video was awesome
If I was Dooku I would commission an occupation droid ( say an aod agressive occupation droid) to effectively push into the core without being worried about my supply being cut off from a rebellion.
Aod would be like a super battle droid but much tougher and with better scanners and weapons
hey! I love the synth music used in this video. The other tunes are cool too. Who are the artists for the music in this video???
then it would be a giant clanker
Have you ever thought of doing any of these videos based on Boofire191's Earth in Star Wars series, it remains his most popular series.
Basically a "What-if" scenario within a "What-if" scenario.
Honestly, im hoping that they make a, "what if?" Series for starwars, that would be kind of cool
MCRN Jupiter Fleet (before the Eros incident ) vs General Grievous's fleet when he invaded Kamino.
I like this plotline better than the actual one.
There's no shortage of Jedi flying starfighters. It'd go down soon enough.
It might have been Anakin Skywalker, not Luke Skywalker, who destroys the Death Star with a well-placed photon-torpeedo? As far as alternative timelines go, that is pretty poetic!
Perfect target practice for General Skywalker and General Kenobi. I will send some ARC170 to assist them.
"A moon sized space station. Operated by droids...with Count Dooku on board. That would be easy to take down"
*Lands in a hangar to see a big group of B2-HA Super Battle Droids pointing their weapons at me* "aw crap..."
