- On February 19, 2024, the Boeing 727 (G-OSRB) landed at Weeze Airport for a training flight.
The 727 flies for T2 Aviation and is 40 years old.
The flight was from Southend (SEN) to Weeze (NRN). - Авто/Мото
It's beyond great that the great and legendary 727 is still around and doing its job in 2024! All hail the king!
Nostalgic seeing the 727 still flying, I remember the youth years at the University flying this aircraft back home, you could hardly hear the noise of the engines located at rear.
I remember how no modern airplane can begin to compare to the deafening noise of a hush-kitted 727.
I hear you. I live near MSP airport and had a to talking when a “hush-kitted” DC-9 flew over. Modern civil airplanes are much quieter.
The female airplane. Extremely high-pitched too.
I thought the b737-200 was louder....but maybe i am incorrect lol
@@larrymalpaya 747-Classics could be loud but I can't recall departures of the 737-200. I'll never be able to forget the 727 though...in an ear busting, house shaking class of its own.
My favourite sounds, BAC-ONE-ELEVEN Start Up ,Take Off Roar ( with water injection), the Amazing VC 10, and the Detroit Diesel V12 series 71 for Cat 2 landing conditions, ✈️🛫
Oh wow, Niederrhein. I used to work at Doesburg (2002 to 2005) in Nieuw Bergen, and lived in Op de Pal, and would frequently cycle up to Weeze to watch the planes. Thanks for the vid. The take off was outstanding
Thank you so much for this Video ! Great ! Love the 727 ! ✈️👍
Now that is a real jetliner!
Thanks for uploading. Surprised to see 727 is still flying. My first air travel was Sapporo to Haneda, Tokyo by 727 in 1970. Then, I was 25 years-old student. At Haneda air port, I saw a 747, a new huge air plane. After 10 years since I became an engineer, I started business trips to China, Thailand, India, Dubai, Jeddah, Milan, Paris, London, Frankfurt, Istanbul, NY, Boston, etc.. Most flights were 747. The last trip was to India in 2011. I retired when 747 passenger flight retired in Japan.
Awesome catch! Subsribed 🔥🔥
Thank you for sharing. The 727s look very nice. And I miss flying on them from my former airline.😊
Wow amazing video of this good old Boeing 727 🤩👍
Remember the 727 in the 80 on the queen's building at Heathrow
Wow,such a rare catch! Amazing 😮
Very nice. See it everyday as it is based at our airport (Southend UK).
Wow she's based at Southend. Kewel.
Occasionally see this aircraft (or sometimes her sister G-OSRA) visiting Lasham airfield in the North of Hampshire,UK - possibly for maintenance.
@@simonwhite9967 2Excel Aviation, who operate G-OSRA and G-OSRB, have a facility where they maintain narrow-body airliners at Lasham so it's very likely.
The most beautiful airplane!
what beautiful catch
Nice video of the beautiful Boeing 727, a legend still flying, the 727 was a very good aircraft.❤️👌
Beautiful plane.
This aircraft is based at my local airport. London Southend even tho it’s not in London it’s here in Essex lol
Allererste Klasse! Danke schön!
They operate two of the last New FedEx 727's. Nice to see that thay are still operational. The 727's had the highest reliability of of the various fleets FedEx owned.
I worked in the airline industry starting in 1989. These birds were the workhorse of the fleet. After 9-11 they were quickly taken out of service. Ya, they were loud, but a great airplane. I remember opening up the air stairs on the back, and seeing the DB Cooper device that prevented them from being open during flight.
Same...DL at BOS. 727 was probably the most common jet at the time. And plenty of DC-9, 737-200, MD-80, L-1011, and DC-10's in and out of Boston...airlines like Eastern, TWA, Northwest, US Air, Piedmont, and Pan Am.
Oil response keeping 727s until 2028 at least
BE STILL MY HEART.... she still is in the air. BEAUTIFUL.... and that wet runway... some serious reverse thrust. The cracking sound of classic aviation. The smoke and the climb...whew Today pales in comparison to the classic age.
Such as nicest aircraft specially on clean configuration
I salute all the brave pilots who flew out unscaved from this era who didn't have the luxury of magenta fliers
Great video
Great video!
A real character airliner. The current crop are 'tame' compared to this. I think you can roll in the TU-154M into the character bunch from that fabulous era.
Magnificent!!!
I wish planes still roared and rumbled like they used to lol. Ok, so they still do but... on a quieter level. It's not the same though.
ooooh baby i miss that sound with todays cream puffs
king of sky
Ich habe meinen letzten 727 auf Sankt Martin in der Karibik gesehen
classic aircraft
The last one classic .......
Very nice
They don't make them like this any more...

je suis monté a plusieure reprise dans un being 727 on ne le sant pas au décollage
That is fire department plane?
Oil spill response. Reengined B727
1:1 Tupolev-154M so Soviet Union copied US's plane?
Talking about spilling oil 😂…
When Boeing was Boeing run by aeronautical engineers and not a bunch of greedy profit seeking bean counters like now! Excellent aircraft. Just thirsty.
