Habakkuk 3:17-19
Though the fig tree may not blossom,
Nor fruit be on the vines;
Though the labor of the olive may fail,
and fields yield no food;
though the flock may be cut off from the fold
and there be no herd in the stalls --
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord.
Yet i will rejoice in the Lord,
I will joy in the God of my salvation.
YHWH Adonai is my strength;
He will make my feet like hinds feet,
And he'll make me to walk on my high hills.

Remember that no matter what things look like down here on earth, YHWH is in control and he will give us the strength to go through whatever comes our way. As long as we keep our eyes on him we have nothing to fear becuase he will make it so that we can do seemingly impossible things.

Over 25 years ago God gave me a melody to this portion of the scripture. After that my whole life fell apart. I sang it many times. My children called it "Mama's Trouble Song." I love the version you were given. It is beautiful and full of shalom. May you be blessed precious sister.

I just came across you. I was listening to Priscilla Shirer’s study lesson six on Elijah. She brought up about Habakkuk and how he was frustrated with God because of all the evil going around him and their world. How long would he hold off. Then God told him that basically Judah would be taken in captivity. But yet Habakkuk decided to pray in trust to what God would do even if his circumstances would also be bleak. “But there just shall live by faith... in wrath remember mercy.” Then I came on vs 17-19. A hymn of faith. I started to make my own melody. But I couldn’t quite get what I wanted as my voice was cracking. So I went on RUclips to look if someone had made a song. I found you. Your voice is perfect and your melody was just right. And yes, you should put it on an album. Thank you for serving Jesus in with your gifts and musical talent.
