Hi Matt, most of the knobs can each be controlled by plugging an expression pedal into the appropriate jack. You could have 5 pedals plugged in at once! MIDI pedals could control all 17 parameters! The theremin can be used by simply moving the neck of your guitar closer or farther from the theremin's antenna. (See my Electro Harmonix HOG video demo as an example.) _DemonDan_
"You neutered that poor strat" I choose this strat because it's absolutely silent (no hum, no hiss), and I wanted to show how amazingly quiet this analog chorus is. (Analog delays can often be noisy.) Normally I don't play it dry into a camcorder. I use it do do otherworldly things with ridiculous preamp gain and non-standard EQ boosts. (No hum means you can boost any freq +30dB!) I promise you that, far from being neutered, in its normal environment, it oozes testicularity.) _DemonDan_
How do I play a guitar and control a theremin at the same time? Should I be using my foot, head or some other extremity? Why is this stomp box on a table should it not be on the floor? How would I turn the knobs if it is on the floor? This design is very confusing.
I have a question, and do mind I'm extremely new to this... Does this create voices on it's own? Like, can I connect this to my audio interface, fire up FL Studio and create som music with just this and a midi connection?
Jonathan Stark No. This modifies what sound you send to it; in this case, an electric guitar or the keyboard sequence. The keyboard here is sending control information via midi. Same with the theremin.
