Nice to see someone try using spells and the Green Curses. I still think scythe builds are more consistant, due to the fact that there are so many different spells that you can find it's very hard to find something that can be really great (not to mention that you can also find weapons), but this was a nice run! Also... I can totally relate with 1:01:47 panic moment lol
Hey Dan love seeing you on HAND ! Love the game myself but even if you didn't say it directly, I agree with you, "farming curses" should be caped or something. The generate anima one and the retaliate = +1 damage you got are the best examples of weird designs that encourages the player to be really passive or cheesy with the game. They're some other like those and imo this design isn't the best in a skilled roguelite like HAND. Even when i want to play a curse that makes my build better, it's just not possible not to take those farming curses when they show up, they're just too busted. But great news, since im french (like the game designers) I saw the devs on some french streams to discuss and they said that the game will most likely be updated in content and balance ! I think it's a great game and as the potential to be a reference in the roguelite genre so i hope so :) (btw just a tip since you seem to ask yourself : your ultimate bar fill for every Hit on an enemy. With the skulls you hit a lot which makes the ultimate fill faster. Thats why Infuse Lightning is really stronk, its one of the only infuse that Hits directly and not DoT, making your ultimate bar fill incredibly fast with multihits)
Craziest build I had used Voracious and the Slaygore. Casting the Slaygore ult in bosses and arenas then casting the Voracious ult cuz it comes back quick. Pairs well with Death Metal red curse and it essentially makes you intangible and gives you about 50 max HP per cast. And due to slaygore and the multiple hits from the Voracious u can cast it infinitely. Hard cheesed time on Breakdown 5. I'll never forget that run
You don’t need to ever unlock the rift locker for the sorrows and thangaers earlier since there is always one at the end before the thanager time fight cause otherwise your just making every boss harder
I don't know if you can farm +1 Damage when hit with the ghost arms, but you can farm them for souls when you get earn souls for terminate, I got to around 1000 before I got bored with it.

I kept thinking that but it's such a strange design decision that I was in denial lol.
