The press event was clearly rushed and they were showing it long before it's really ready. Hence the hiccup + $80billion stock drop the next day. The truth is that we are still a long way from this replacing anything but the most basic information reliably. AI is flavor of the month right now, so everyone (including us) is talking about it because it gets views/clicks right now. It's a hot topic. The reality is that this will take a lot longer to replace us all. And for a very long time, there will still be considerable room for high quality human content.
