And fun Facts : you will not see Mt.Everest from everest base camp so kalapathar hike is most recommended if you want to see everest with close view 😁 And hello & namaste everyone from Nepal.
As a sales veteran (25 years in sales) I get amazed the way you blend the promo in your video. Saw this promo on couple of other RUclips channels but not blended like here.
Alcohol basically dehydrates body at high altitude and hence helps to thicken the blood which naturally happens at high altitude due to lack of oxygen....Therefore drink a lot of water to make blood is thin so that it can reach till brain and avoid AMS ( which basically what dymox does ) and avoid alcohol at all costs :P JUST FYI :D
Absolutely correct. I don't recommend consuming alcohol to keep body warm. Army and local people can do that because they are staying in that place for 365 days and their body is accustomed with cold n altitude. For a week visiters like us no alcohol.
Hey Tanya, ever since I’ve seen the movie Seven Years in Tibet, I wanted to visit Tibet and MT. Everest. Deep in my heart I really looked forward to that and that became my dream. As I grew older and started working, I worked hard in full filling my dreams and saving towards it. I watched several documentaries and read a lot about acclamation, so I asked my coworker and friends to join me, perhaps it was expensive for them. I than decided to go solo and finally October 2017 I step foot in Tibet and slowly we traveled to Mt. Everest base camp. I had booked a group tour and it was an easy journey to base camp on a vehicle, unlike from Nepal. We arrived in time before sunset to take pictures of the sun lighting up Mt. Everest. That night was the only time we didn’t shower and we spent the night in a tent. It was cold, but that was my own fault, keeping my jacket open out of excitement until it started to get dark, by that the cold got to my bones. I was thinking of traveling to Nepal and do the track, cause my friend that I met on the tour ask me to join him the following year, but it was too soon for me, cause of prior traveling plans with family. I’m glad I didn’t go, cause he never made it to the base camp. Midway he got sick and was airlifted to the hospital, because of an lung infection during the hike.
This video is so helpful for beginners who would be planning this trek! When i was planning my trip I couldn’t find something so tailored and meticulous in terms of planning. You make things looks so easy and simple but I am sure you work so hard for outputs like these! Hats off to your passion! ☺️
She is sooo concerned about other travellers spending more than 30 mins just to share her travel story and help other travellers Thee best detail video on one particular topic ❤️❤️❤️
Finally the dream series is about to come.. waiting since so long for this.. glad that you started with the description and info about the trek so that people are aware of the challenges.. And one more thing, You look awesome in this video and the background setup is also so nice 😍
Thank you so much. That was almost all the information needed for Everst base camp. It is commendable that you did that in a single go, breathless ....
i know I'm not gonna go anywhere till my PG completion but still catching up with Tanya's vlog on daily basis just for future goals of mine for traveling
2017 I did Annapurna Base Trip which is at an altitude of 4100 m and I did it with my Friend, a Guide and a Porter. Everest Base Camp is in my Bucket list. I am fully aware of the cost and so I did not do it so far to ensure I have the money. I totally agree with Tanya on the Items to carry (although I would personally reduce a few more), Itinerary (which of-course can vary), a good training for a month would ease one's muscles while hiking (if the hiker is a beginner) basic running everyday for 1 month with moderate exercise should be enough. Instead of Protein bars I carried a mixture of nuts (Almonds, Cashew, raisins, & walnuts) to keep myself energetic. Looking to finish EBC as well one day of-course once the pandemic is over.
I did this EBC Trek in Sept 2017, at the age of 63..so, those of you who are hesitant, go for it !! Tanya has got the facts right most of time..well done, Tanya..now go for the Annapurna Base Camp trek , which I was to go for this year, but postponed did to the ongoing conditions..

Hi Tanya, today is 18/6/2021 and out of no where i got your EBC series recommendation. i started it with 1st video and could not stop for all the videos. It was amazing and awesome... thanks for capturing and making my bad day good.
I enjoyed watching your entire series of videos on the trek to Everest base camp. Very informative. Keep vlogging! I am going to start my trek to the EBC next week. Excited!
If you are in group. Then, you can save your flight cost by starting your trek from Salleri Nepal to EBC. Lukla flights are unpredictable due to weather.
@@rajshreesharma8726 guide and porter are associated with company, if you want without company, these two don't come with it. I did EBC in sept 2019 but with a company since it was my first visit, so if you are first timer as well. AMS is real, so I would suggest to take a guide atleast, but your trek bag should have all the necessities and most imp your fitness to cover the distance. Porter generally take 100 usd or some take 80 usd. And guide might take take a max 400-500 usd.

Watching your vlogs, is one of the most inspiring thing for me to start vloggeing and I finally uploaded my first vlog and its on trending
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Some expensive treks on my bucket list right now.
1. Everest base camp trek
2. Son doong cave trek
If you are in group. Then, you can save your flight cost by starting your trek from Salleri Nepal to EBC. Lukla flights are unpredictable due to weather.

Can you tell me what could be the overall cost if we do it without the company?

And including guide and the porter.
This was much awaited ❤️❤️
Our dream is to go on Everest Base camp trek and shoot the whole journey ❤️😍
