No worries! We tipped $50 each which was split between 2 guides, there were 11 of us so each guide got $275. We also tipped another $50 each that was split between six porters.
Useful video ! Were you concerned about bathroom situation, as in finding a place to pee along the whole trek ? Especially if you drink a lot of water, to stay hydrated. Thanks

Further down the trail there are lots of bathrooms (some squats), further up the trail there are less but always managed to find a bush if needed haha. There are teahouses every few hours throughout the trail however. If you take diamox you'll need to pee more - just be aware of that!
We booked about 8 months but you definitely don't need to that early. Our final deposits were due 3 months before so maybe then, but if they had space they'd sort something out! Worth contacting them nepalhikingadventure.com/

True Traveler only works if you are normally living in certain countries. ( Very restrictive ).

How was the weather in April?
It was pretty good! We only had one day of snow (base camp day). Cold at nights but nowhere near as chilly as people who'd hiked in February or March.
How much cash di you realistically need for the trail including allowance for tips and assuming some shopping in Namche
