Day 11 Corona Cooking, Scottish Style

Day 11 of our Corona self-isolation here in Southern Pines. Make no mistake, despite all the worries in the world this was a great day and a superb dinner, Scottish-style, so this little report will be worth the wait. We made a marvelous shepherds pie with chopped beef, parsnips, turnips and lots of other good things. We served it to ourselves out by the waterfall while we rocked to Bee Gees disco, folk-rock tunes and other great music from the 1970s. After dinner we tossed a couple of coins into the waterfall and made good wishes for the world. Slowly the moon rose over the pine trees and I had a post-prandial dram while Annie enjoyed her wine.
