Student apartments are a bit different because they have everything for you. I payed 430 a month for my student apartment for a 4x4 room. Everything was included. If you want to move to a fully unfurnished apartment (not a student apartment) depending on where you live I recommended 800-1100 because you have a deposit to pay, the application, and first months rent. In TN, a one or two bedroom apartment is typically around 900-1200 a month. You also have to prepare for furniture if you’re going to buy it yourself. It’s a lot to think about but very worth it! Also, you have other bills like water, cable, WiFi, air/heat, garbage (depends on apartment)
