I know it’s not super popular with the algorithm powers that be, but I love the long form content like this so much more. It gives me something to listen to while I work, and y’all’s videos incorporate thought provoking content so it doesn’t feel like I’m just mindlessly consuming something shallow. Thanks for the great content!
Jake shouting out Daniel Greene even as a slight joke is so wholesome. I’ve always appreciated Jake’s authenticity and him giving Richard and Austin the same kudos was a cool around the sun moment.
To me this was such a genuine conversation and a great episode. I felt like Jake responded and talked in a way I would too, if I ever had the oportunity to have a conversation with you guys or Jake or even Daniel Greene. It is difficult to put in words but I loved the interactions and how natural they felt. I would have loved to ear some more of your thoughts on some of the subjects in more depth, like the Pirates of the Caribbean or things like the Wheel of Time's first book and expectations previous readers had on it because I feel like like I also have some uncommon thoughts on those and never have the chance to currently discuss these things because none of my friends have these interests or the will to discuss them. The closest thing I have to it is earing you guys talk about it and in this case discussing with your guests. Anyways, as always great work and keep it up guys. Look forward to the next episode!
I know the podcasts name is ramble, but Austin, sometimes you ask a question and it turns into 4 questions and I can’t follow along with what you’re trying to ask😅
Peepeepoopoo was heard. Lol anyway, I think you guys are doing a stellar job at these interviews. Really bringing very interesting questions and insight to the table. Keep it up
The Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy is underrated made me actually cackle 😂😂 it’s simply the best movie trilogy of all time. I will be taking no criticism on this. and we pretend #4 does not exist
We have - almost read nevernight a few times from patron recommendations, but havent prioritized it quite yet! And would love to read some murder mysteries but not high on the tbr either
What is the audio book platform that the 2 to Ramble crew use? I hope you guys see this comment and reply you are the reason i got back into reading and I loved Red Rising.
by the way, austin im also a self proclaimed “cinephile” like you are and I LOVE the same movies as you do!! check out Aftersun (2022) if you haven’t yet (and also drop that letterboxd💚)

41:48- 42:29 on separating the art from the artist I think that it depends. For example JKR controversial in her opinion is just that, an opinion. I feel like people who’ll want to harm a certain group of people will do so without JKR input or not. Granted, there is validity to not wanting to support her either. I also feel like there’s a distinction when the author is alive or dead. A dead author views wouldn’t bother me as much whereas a living authors might. Also, there’s a difference between controversial, albeit harmful, opinions as opposed to alleged accusations of something serious such as what’s going on with Gaiman for example. I love the long form content. I really do. Please def keep going. 🖤
@@2ToRamble LOL!! I finished watching Lost a while back and now it's my new favorite thing! Idk I might not keep it like this for too long. I'm also currently obsessed with Mass Effect lol.

We now need Merphy Napier and Daniel Greene on the podcast to finish the booktube Infinity Stones.
