    Thank-you, people can be so devious. Now I know every piece must be tested. But your pieces are beautiful even for what they are. Yes I would buy them provided I would be informed that they are not real amber.

    Very cool idea it's cool to have real Baltic amber. But it's expensive so this is a cool alternative I really like the stuff you made. Would look nice in a Ring.

    TY. In addition to the beautiful pieces, I love: your finger gloves, leveling the mold with a toothpick instead of trying to level a whole table which may not be flat, the plastic mixing goblet which is not so tippy, and especially the plain white background which makes it so easy to see what you are doing. Very nice work, thank you.

    Stunning results from a painfully obvious technique. I suppose that in another 5 years, I would have thought of it, too. I love amber in all of its forms, and this is a way to have the look without the expense and without jeopardizing the existing supply of Baltic amber, which is becoming scarce. Bravo, Ludmilla!

    This idea of making faux amber is genius! I adore your pieces - trying to find molds like yours. The Etsy link you provided says the shop is no longer selling. Do you know if they now have another shop somewhere on the internet? Or do you know if some other cabachon molds like these. Thank you for your time - xo

    Adding the stuff from nature definitely help make it look like the real deal. I know real amber some of it has really dark areas in the stone. Whatever you colored it with be cool to have some on the side. But add more die to make it darker. Go ahead with the lighter resin first. But leave room once that some what sets to wear it won't just mix up add the darker resin. Now I've gotten rings online that were sopost to be Baltic amber. On a sliver ring the sliver was real. But the amber was some form of plastic it had lots of bubbles. It's still pretty to the un trained eye they can't tell the difference anyways. Do you think this material would be resin.

    Здравствуйте Людмила! У вас всегда замечательные мастер-классы. Спасибо, что делитесь своими идеями и знаниями. У меня возник вопрос по поводу пышных семян, которые вы кладете в кабошоны : если вы их где-то купили, то где ? Я собираю семена одуванчиков, однако давно хотелось чего-то по пышнее, но не могла найти.

    I have watched quite a few of your videos, and I really like them. You are amazing, and so many of your pieces are stunning. I think these "amber" pieces would look better with less things in them. I think they'd look more like realistic amber pieces, that you'd actually use to make jewelry from, if they had less things in them.

      Благодарю, Марина! Если честно, я не знаю что такое обычная смола - разве что сторительная/бытовая какая-то... но она то точно не подходит для создания украшений! Все в основном пользуются ювелирной!

    • @thecraftycreeper3167
      @thecraftycreeper3167 5 лет назад

      Подойдет любая эпоксидка, которая не желтеет и не вступает в реакцию с красителем.С ювелирной просто проще работать- в ней меньше пузырьков образуется и она прозрачная и очень твердая после застывания.
