Thanks Kim! Putting pigment directly in the resin can be so neat! Keep in mind though, anything water-based will generally act like the orange did (even though it’s not water based), and sink to the bottom creating a hot mess when you unmold! Thanks for watching! 😊🧡
I haven't really used resin yet apart from UV for the back of dipped cabochons. Is the resin you use heavier than the UV? I tried the UV in a mould and it felt too light for wire wrapping, but I like the look of the ones you made here.
Thanks Jan! Honestly, I have never noticed a difference in final weight between UV resin and epoxy resin. I think they are the pretty much t he same. Both types can be easily wire wrapped. (Side note, there are some resins that do not cure hard, and would not be good for wire wrapping - I know Art Resin is a bit bending after curing, and soft UV resin is more like a gummy bear.) Compared to a stone of the same size and shape, yes any resin would definitely be lighter. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching! 🧡😊🧡

❤️🌈❤️ Love that you tested new pigments and also put them directly in the resin. I’ve never tried that! So cool.
