I have used foil as an armature; as a crackle background for liquid polymer clay with a glass cab on top; as texture; and as fake opal (tinted translucent clay with glitter on top of a crinkled piece of foil. I love what you have done here and will definitely be adding this to my list!!!! Thanks once again for your excellent tutorials!
The colors are amazing. I really like the foil center and the texture the markers gave. This will definitely be on my "To try" list. 😊 I've seen this done before but not with clay. The artist added crinkled foil to a pendant blank (not sure exactly what they're called) for a cabochon. They added regular alcohol ink, let dry and resined. It turned out nice but your way, it looks more like a finished pieces.❤
Wow this is gorgeous! I couldn’t see the finished piece when you were painting. I though that looks a mess. 😹😹😹but at the end GORGEOUS!! You are so talented. Thank you for sharing with us. You amaze me. ! 💝🥰🤗
Really great effects! I don't use UV resin or any resin because my house is too dusty. I live on a ranch in the country. I'm brand new to polymer clay. Can you suggest a good gloss varnish for projects like this? Fun tutorial! 😊🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I don't know where u r but in the US I've used Varathane with great results. Make sure to use the water soluble version
Hi. You can use Varathane gloss. It won't give the same effect as resin, but it will still give a glossy finish.
Thanks!
Thank you so much. :D
