(Also, if anyone else is wondering, this was planned to be in one take fight, no deaths, but free time for me is small nowadays & I have to rely on quad S & infinite DT on the later clips to finish it quickly =_= PLUS with deaths!)

Fits too well. “The Duel” was great but this has a lot more emotion. It actually feels more like a world shattering fight now.

Felt like an anime fight honestly you felt every emotion and when he went down you felt his frustration of trying to defeat his opponent but it jus wasn’t enough

It is better then duel, but not really fitting. After this kind of soundtrack you would expect someone to die by the end of this battle and not end with a line "Nero is my Son?".

Honestly the best vergil fight ive ever seen. I hate all fights where the player just stomps him. I love seeing 2 brothers duking it out, both taking damage. That + the speed of the fight, the lighting in the 2nd phase, great syncing of his theme with the gameplay and the end where vergil wins makes this my #1 vergil fight. Absolutely love this video. Great work man.
Yeah honestly. While the techniques used in DmD no damage Vergil videos are very impressive, it makes Vergil look like a little bitch. This video actually looks like two brothers of equal power going all out at each other and make it more immersive.

I have that opinion with every game I play, for example when I see a fight I want to see tension, stomping ur opponent removes the feel, I sometimes even let enemies half hp if I'm sure I can win on full
They way Vergil says "Danteee" at 7:47 gives me chills every time. Like, god, it feels like literal anime fight. It's even better that you're the one controlling the character. Capcom should've made it his boss theme from the very beginning it's just too good. I mean The Duel is good, but it just sits in one place a lot. This one has actual progression and it becomes just godly at the end.

How ironic, without actually desiring it, you've created the best Dante vs Vergil battle on RUclips. Seeing Vergil destroyed does nothing for me, since I love this game and its story. On the other hand, I think I've watched this video about twenty times. Everything about it fits so perfectly, even the flaws in your gameplay add to the beauty of the fight between the sons of Sparda.

8:06 is when you feel true power as Virgil just look over at dante in his knees while Virgil is rushed with dominance and pleasure that he finally fulfilled his dream to defeat his twin brother then looks up at the sky and takes a long sigh exhausted to his limit as he recalls all the memory's of him being humiliated by dante but now he done it as looks at dante he realizes that something was wrong he realized that he was never lost nor won a fight he just couldn't except that he was too weak to save his mother he then slumps to the ground realizing he truly messed up and that the damage was done he lost his humanity that his mother loved so much amd now he gonna kill his very last person that's related to him "what have i've done "Virgil says to himself "there's no way i can truly make up all this childish anger that i had for all these years" he says as he staeres at yamato realizing that it was his own sons arm he quickly throws yamato away in disgust "there is a way to make up for all the bullshit you've cost" dante groans as he sits right next to his broken brother "really and what will that be" virgil says as he covers his face in despair "you really are dumb as you strong" dante chuckles as he quickly grabs his waist in pain not fully healed yet "you had a son that you didn't know you have for all these years and on top of that you cut off his arm too so an apology will get you in the right step if you ask me" as nero runs of the steps to see dante and Virgil sitting next to each other peacefully "perhaps your right" Virgil say as he uncovers his face "or perhaps im have a little bit of humanity left to confront the wrongdoings i have done in this world and finally i can show the world that a devil could cry one day" as the song slowly pans out

He said "Not bad" and it was just a grunt (or whatever its called) after it on that part, I forgot to balance the audio levels in the later parts so I apologize for not hearing it well.

Gotta say how I love this is a back and forth fight, not just Dante dominating the whole thing. This is anime bullshit to the max and I loved every moment of it, except maybe the ending.
My honest to sparda very part is every time one gets the absolute better of the other in the fight its a DT vs Human form absolute beat down. It screams "I THOUGHT YOU WERE TAKING THIS SERIOUSLY" Then it breaks when their both DT and its clashing and constant one up's over the other. Smoking Sick Style!

This is by far the best battle with the music and edit in dmc history the music makes it even better because it is like the music is telling a story along with giving you this motivation but telling a tragic story of a brother who has been through so much and was blinded by this thirst for power but was more blinded of trauma.
Omg this has got to be one of the best fights I've seen. I love the weather change, the small clip (dante getting impaled/slashed) parts, the music, this is the exact definition of what Dante vs Vergil battles should always be. Rusty or not, this gameplay is epic, I couldnt stop replaying many parts. All these no damage gameplays arent what I look for nowadays. This is what I enjoy watching.

This is the first I’ve ever seen of this series, and after seeing the gameplay style, I have to wonder how Dante has never been in smash. Literally everything about it fits into smash. I’m sure fire emblem is a great series, but there are so many other characters we’d like to see added

This whole fight kinda seems like a callback to dmc3 how Dante reaches the top of a giant structure where Vergil is waiting and in the middle of the fight a storm (literally) approaches

actualy, is this Vergil Boss Fight my favorite in the entire series. Two Brothers with the same origin, walking diffirent paths and this is the final battle.
It is kinda like Snake and Liquid from the MGS Franchise. But i think Dante and Vergil having the better relationship and reason to fight eachother.
But i don´t know, everytime as "I am the storm that is approaching" kicks in, i have the feeling of "A Beautiful Song" from Nier Automata OST. It is pretty amazing. =)

The only thing that could top this would be being able to fully activate sin trigger at the right time everytime.
I got to say. MOst of the fights i've seen by other youtubers are impressive, mad combos an all. But this, this is unique. Theres not too much flashy moves or stomping Vergil. It just two brothers having a fight with equal amount of strengths and skills. Vergil getting the better of Dante, and vice versa. The music just adds another lair of emotions which makes this fight even more personal than it was supposed to. Good job, man or gal

Everyone else pretty much already said it but I don't mind the "rusty" gameplay. In fact the fact that Dante actually struggles and takes damage makes this fight feel more like a duel between rivals rather than a no damage curbstomp fight. I respect it. It's more exciting, fun, and suspenseful when the protagonist has to actually struggle and not just steamroll the opposition.
