    Some people wont never understand how good jordan was , in this era all they do is shooting 3. Mj was something else making all this incredible shots. No one like mj. Better than lebron and better than any other mj player.

  • @andgar923
    @andgar923 4 года назад +61

    Mj's most underrated aspect is his passing. He's easily one of the best passers of all time and he doesn't get any credit for it. His 6 assists per game average isn't something to ignore, but people act as if he didn't pass at all. MJ's read and reaction is only rivalled by Bird and Magic's. He reads the defence and reacts to it before they execute it which is what also made him a dangerous offensive player and made it seem so easy.
    Most of the passes shown aren't 'highlight' clip worthy. But if you understand basketball you'll smile at how great he read the defense and picked it apart time and time again, without holding the ball for seconds and seconds and simply dishing off to a 3pt shooter.

      So true... thats why im like "huh????" when people say lebron is a better passer

    • @weswarden2216
      @weswarden2216 4 года назад +10

      @Drake i disagree. MJ jus as good a passer if not better. Numbers dont show it but they play different. Mike looked to shoot more than pass but when he had to his passes and assist numbers were jus as good

    • @weswarden2216
      @weswarden2216 4 года назад +3

      @Drake i have watched both play and i still think Jordan is just as good when he has to be, and lookin to pass. Its all my opinion tho. U may see it from LeBron more consistently but I believe that's bc that's what he's out there lookin to do, mj wasnt

    • @kyoumeister8996
      @kyoumeister8996 4 года назад +5

      @Drake Go Google it yourself 'when Jordan played Point Guard'.

    • @andgar923
      @andgar923 4 года назад +9

      @Drake No. Sorry. Most of those are NO. Bron is a more willing but he's not better on most of what you mentioned. He doesn't have the same IQ as MJ, he doesn't have the same timing as MJ, he doesn't have the same read/react as MJ. Mj can do all the passes that Bron does and did so in a more congested environment without wide open lanes. MJ didn't need to dribble and dribble and dribble to dish to an open 3pt shooter, MJ 'created' lanes, created opportunities to get easy looks. Essentially, MJ can do everything you claim Bron does better as good if not better than Bron.

    What I would give to see prime MJ play a Christmas game even though I have never seen him play. But these montages make up for it more than a little. Merry Christmas to everyone! 😁

      Almost this whole video he didn't have his legs, though still managed to score. The problem with his hops actually started the year before he retired to play baseball. Too much wear and tear, MJ was never the same high flyer.

      that's right... hadn't gotten his legs yet. The lift isn't there, and I think that's why he's so creative with the finger rolls, flips, etc.

      After he wins 10 scoring titles, including 7 straight, while simultaneously being the best defensive player at his position...then maybe we can talk

    • @bendcreagh

      Difficult to compare eras but harden is dominating today’s game offensively like MJ did in the 80-90s. If harden does this for 5 more years then we can talk

Plus Had more blocks than lebron despite being 6'6, dont mention harden or any other current player in the NBA as this man, Stop the comparison, the body of work MJ has vs todays players are no comparison. No room to talk to.

    Lots of plp compare mj with lebron just because Lebron pass mj of the scoring lits which we have to realize in this Nba era all they do is shooting 3 any player can pass mj , but they will never be another player like mj , why because in this era no one can score 30 0r 45 points just by shooting inside the mid-range, he score only couple 3 in his career, MJ the real Goat

      Nah, he got a lot of his leaping ability back in 96' when he had a full off-season to train. I think you are getting MJ's pacing strategy confused with losing something all together. He could still do most of what he used to be able to do, he just saved himself until the 4th quarter.
