That's insane. I'm glad the launch of Battlefront remastered put the nail in the coffin for me to not pre-order games anymore and this is just driving home that not pre-ordering is a good new life direction. By all means do what you want and if you really want pre-order bonuses or need to play on launch i get it, I've been the same, it's just becoming quite a big risk these days and I just wont take any more of this nonsense from game devs, really feel for you man.

@@ninjabagel01 it was 2 CODs ago that I learned my preorder lesson. But I had seen some pretty unbiased reviews about Outlaws, and was so hyped for this game a few days early I went Gold. boy did this cement me never preordering again. These devs are goofy and the studio execs are worse. They’re getting more money than they’ve ever had and putting out such poor product. Launch day excitement is gone. Game stop midnight releases are gone or just awful.
This is the third straight Sony product that’s let me down. Spider-Man 2 felt like a huge step back from Miles Morales, and the DLC is nonexistent w no detail. Helldivers 2 was a bright beacon until it became a puddle. And now 38 hours in-game 2 planets cooked I get some goofy email about silly trinkets and Monopoly money to restart my game. I’ll never touch a thing they make again, lol.
That’s some real BS. I’m sorry that happened to you Tony. Thanks for keeping it real. Hope Ubisoft or Sony get you your money back.

It’s absolutely insane to update a game and have that update corrupt your saves like that, I haven’t seen that ever. Ubisoft doesn’t care about our time, I’ll certainly wait a few years, to let these doomsday patches happen first. Sorry man, honestly had faith they’d make it right.

I’ve had a disdain for Ubisoft a number of years now. While many games have phenomenal graphics in their reveals that get downgraded for the full release, Ubisoft just downgrade to two games console generations to the point it’s not the same game. Their gameplay feels clunky 90% of the time and I don’t think they make compelling storylines, that even worse have emotionless cutscenes. So I was very cautious of the game as soon as I knew it was Ubisoft. This is also something they’ve done in the past, so it’s not just a conscious choice, but a repeated conscious choice. Long gone are the days of Splinter Cell, Ubisoft are now just the lazy developer and people get on your back for saying it. I’ve stuck to a “When it’s cheap or free” policy for years now because I’ve been burnt by getting bored of one of their games a few times now. A couple Assassins Creed games, Drive Club, The Division, Watch Dogs, paid full price and they just fall wide off the mark. But when I waited for AC Valhalla to be free I actually enjoyed it. They’re just shockingly bad. Stay away from them in future.

Yeah I never preorder. I preordered once and had a horrible experience. Ubisoft is a wonderful company. That’s so disappointing! What’s wrong with them. They are ruining the reputation by not solving the issue with Outlaw.

I'll be honest, not only am I a full system behind, but I really had no interest in this game. Jedi Survivor comes out in 2 weeks on PS4 and I'll be getting that, but no interest in Outlaws

I was 36 hours in and didn’t see the email until tnite. I’m so mad. I don’t understand bc I didn’t lose any saves I just got the emails?
But if I can’t access the whole game continuing that file after paying for the gold edition, and they can’t update like any other AAA developer I’m out. I want a refund. I’m not redoing 2 whole planets.
I tried to get a refund man. Both Sony and Ubisoft said no. I bought my copy from Sony. Maybe if i bought it from Ubisoft they might of refunded me.

@@starwarssith66 yeah I’m gonna try calling Sony on the phone if they don’t pull a cyberpunk and mass refund. If not, then I’m just gonna file a grievance through the Better Business Bureau and CFPB, and then go after the refund through my bank since I bought it on PS5.

Not gonna lie bro Ubisoft a game developer going downhill. They tarnished assassin Creed they ruined the potential of watchdogs. They release games are broken multiple times.. and to be honest, I wasn’t impressed with outlaws at all. I’ll be buying it once it hits the PlayStation store for 20 bucks.

UBbroke, UBSlothf, UBsmoked. UB always get discounted after three weeks. I've seen the internal testing storm it's a joke they keep finding significant bugs so late on multiplayer titles. Sony is Vader in all this and Ubisoft are JarJar me so sorry 🤔
