New to junk journals?
Or have some but never write in them?
Maybe you just bought (or made) your first junk journal, or maybe you have hundreds in your collection! Do you use them? What do you write about, and how?
In today's video I show you how I journal in my personal journals. I hope you enjoy the process explained!

This is the BEST video ever!!!! Great information and inspiration on how to REALLY "do it"!
This was such a helpful video! I have often regretted not making a journal for the Bible studies I have participated in. I really admire you for doing independent studies! I think I will combine my personal journal that I am making as I journal it, and include my women’s Bible studies take aways. But what you suggested holds true: have a basket of goodies near your journal so you don’t get “lost” in your craft area and get distracted! Hugs to you, Meg!
Very informative and great ideas. When i get started on my Bible journey i know ill be very slow going also. There's just so much i have yet to learn. 😮 thank you, Meg. I enjoyed this video. 🎉🎉
Clicked this so fast! 😅💕 I love your videos ...so fun to see your process and just admire your beautiful journals!
Oh thank you for sharing this. “I don’t want to get everything out” is an excuse I use often. I made my first JJ with the intention of using it for Bible study but I haven’t used it yet and it’s been months. It’s time to use it! 🙌🏻
This was such a joy to watch today. I’ve been trying to start a scripture journal for this year, but I’ve struggled with picturing what I wanted it to be. Thank you for sharing this today because I now feel very inspired! It’s funny because I also started Genesis this month! Such perfect timing! I do hope that you’ll perhaps share again sometime, the progress you’ve made and the pictures and ephemera that you use. Thank you again for sharing your vision for your scripture journal! It’s such a blessing! ❤❤
Thank you! I will make a note to show it again when I'm finished with it! I appreciate you watching and your comment!
@@ChasingRetroThank you! ❤
That is going to be an amazing journal and a great achievement! I can't tell you how many times I've used the background prints from Johanna's Under the Sun kit! Like you, I use the plastic baskets from Walmart or Hobby Lobby to gather things for a particular journal. I tried the fancy box method but the baskets fit inside each other and take up less space so I went back to the others and try to find them in fun colors.
Thanks Meg. Very helpful info. TFS ❤
Meg, I love what you're doing with that journal! Thanks so much for sharing your inspiring ideas. I had those rainbow stickers as a child, and I still have a sheet of them that I've been saving. Maybe I will use them for Genesis.
:) You should! :)
Oh Meg, thank you sooooo much for sharing this beautiful journal! This size is so fabulous! I’m inspired! What a beautiful idea. Hugs.🌸
Great video ❤❤
Meg! You know what would be so adorable for your journaling basket? One of those old olive green or yellow sewing boxes with the clear lid and the tray inside then the bottom a large storage area for your journaling or pages or larger pieces of ephemera. You could use clear pencil pouches to separate things in the bottom. Plus the lid of the box has a handle! 😃

Thank you for this Meg, I’ve done Bible journaling but mostly devotionals and not specific books of the Bible, so I really like the tips and set up ideas you have, now I’m anxious to start my own!😊
Clicked on this because I'd love to see a " Not for the Camera" Junk Journal. Not a giant glue book with sewing. Cuz not everyone knows how to use a sewing machine.
