What??? Thats the greatest BS i ever heard. Negan captured Simon after he found out about his betrayal and instead of just killing him, he gave him a fair chance to beat him in a fight, which Simon lost. Besides that, theres no single leader since medieval age who fights in the frontline.
@@christiankatzel9598 I’m saying whether the governor has a weapon or not, he will still fight. Negan only fights when cornered or given no other solution. How many chances did he give Simon before fighting him? He straight up ran from Rick in that warehouse after planning to ambush him. The governor would’ve fought to the death with rick even with those walkers all around them. He plans to attack his enemy and has a chance to kill him when rick shows up alone. Honestly after re watching TWD as an adult I began to really like the Governor as a Villain. And he’s probably one of the best we get through out the whole series
I don't think the same, Governor, because he's a psychopath, has more ambition and would destroy Negan. Governor destroyed Rick with a shot in the arm and a wounded eye, it's better to never play with a psychopath who bites someone's fingers off 💀
THE GOVERNOR LITTERLY captured hershal and Michone by himself I forgot whether he pistol wiped her or punch her put it took one blow for thr governor to knock michone out. His first FIGHT WITH MICHONE he was in shock still and was emotional cuz michone killed his walker of a daughter. But even then I don't think words can affect him or make him rage in a way that can get negan the upper hand more likely word will get negan the lower hand as while negan is talking shit gov would slit his throat or stab him like how rick was able to grab an object while negan what talking shit and concus him.
not to mention he beat ts outta a Navy veteran (merle) with dead eye aim. He literally shot that prisoners head off from about 120 meters away with one eye.
One thing worth noting is the differences in leadership styles. The ONLY way the governor could get anyone on his side was to lie and manipulate. Meanwhile Negan didn't really lie. His band of survivors knew exactly who and what he was. And they either didn't care or were too afraid to do anything. That's why the governors people turned on him twice after he was exposed, and why Negan still had loyalists even after he was defeated.
@ericolsen5592 well said! And the reason I bring it up is because it's important to consider their groups as well. Negan had essentially a small militia, everyone in his group could fight, while the governor kept all his people as civilians so they were easier to control (save for his small raiding party that is).
Lmao I think this is so wrong. In a real world scenario NOVODY and I mean NOBODY would actually follow Negan. This was definitely better than just about any other “versus” video I’ve seen between these two. The last one I saw, some guy just copy-pasted from the versus wiki lol
The Governor turned 9 people hiding inside an apartment surviving on spam and saltine crackers into a large, self sustaining town of 74 people that was impervious to walkers in well under a year’s time. He was taking (certain) people in so the population was climbing and he had plans laid out for major expansions, not to mention he had the resources to provide Milton the means to search for a cure. Negan was the opposite of self sustaining and while he had the numbers, the Governor was a master manipulator and his brutality cannot be understated. The only thing I could say for certain about a potential Governor vs Negan war is that there would be no way to predict what would transpire between them.
@bwilson5401 The Saviors had RPGs, engineering equipment, explosives and military veterans. They even operate heavy construction equipment and could easily make tank traps. A single tank definitely wouldn't last long, but they might stand a chance of using it to attack the Sanctuary and maybe take out Negan if they're lucky. They'd still have to worry about all the outposts and the fact that they have a better communication network. And this is coming from someone who considers the Governor the best villain on the show, he just can't stand up to the Saviors.
@@Roshambo920 The Governor, knowing what a manipulative psychopath he was, would likely wave a white flag at the Saviors and stab Negan in the back the first chance he gets.

Here's what Chat GPT 4.0 had to say: Negan and The Governor are two of the most iconic and brutal villains from The Walking Dead universe, each bringing their own style of tyranny and chaos to the post-apocalyptic world. Here’s how they compare: Leadership Style: Negan: Leads with an iron fist, ruling through fear and intimidation. He uses his charisma and brutal methods to maintain control over his followers, the Saviors. Negan enforces strict rules, and punishment is often severe, including brutal beatings or even death by Lucille, his barbed-wire-covered baseball bat. The Governor: More manipulative and cunning, The Governor presents a facade of civility and order while secretly engaging in horrific acts. He controls Woodbury with a combination of charm and terror, often manipulating his followers to achieve his ends. His leadership style is more personal and psychological, focusing on control through fear and deception. Motivation: Negan: Believes in maintaining a strong, hierarchical society where he has absolute control. His philosophy is that strength and fear are necessary to survive in the chaotic world. Negan genuinely believes that his way, though brutal, is the best way to ensure the survival of his community. The Governor: Initially motivated by a desire to protect and rebuild civilization, The Governor’s methods become increasingly ruthless after personal losses. His motivations are more selfish and driven by a need for power and control, often resulting in violent and irrational actions, especially when his authority is challenged. Combat Skills: Negan: Physically imposing, Negan is a formidable fighter who relishes in violence. He’s known for his brute strength and skilled use of Lucille in close combat. Negan is also a capable strategist, often using psychological warfare to undermine his enemies. The Governor: The Governor is also a skilled fighter, both with firearms and in hand-to-hand combat. He’s resourceful and not afraid to get his hands dirty, often engaging in direct combat when necessary. However, his physical prowess is often overshadowed by his tactical cunning and willingness to resort to any means necessary to achieve his goals. Psychological Impact: Negan: His larger-than-life personality and theatrical cruelty leave a deep psychological impact on those around him. His victims often fear him more than the undead, and his presence alone can demoralize and terrorize entire groups. The Governor: More insidious, The Governor’s impact is psychological and manipulative. He instills loyalty and fear, often using his charm to lure people into a false sense of security before betraying them. His unpredictability and hidden sadism make him a deeply unsettling figure. Downfall: Negan: Negan’s downfall comes from his overconfidence and underestimation of his enemies. His belief in his own invincibility eventually leads to his capture and imprisonment. Despite his cruelty, Negan is shown to be capable of change, eventually becoming a more complex character who struggles with his past actions. The Governor: The Governor’s downfall is driven by his increasing paranoia and obsession with revenge, particularly against Rick and his group. His inability to let go of his need for control and power leads to his eventual death in a final, destructive confrontation that also destroys Woodbury and many of his followers. Verdict: Both characters are complex villains who bring their own brand of terror to The Walking Dead. Negan is more of a charismatic tyrant who rules through overt brutality and fear, while The Governor is a more psychologically manipulative and cunning leader. In a direct confrontation, Negan might have the upper hand in terms of sheer physicality and intimidation, but The Governor’s cunning and willingness to do whatever it takes might make him a more unpredictable and dangerous adversary. Ultimately, the outcome would depend on the situation, but both would likely leave a trail of destruction in their wake.
I think leadership is also a major factor if we assume they also bring their men along with them. Philip had to lie and create a nice guy illusion to get people to follow him and the moment that shattered his own people tried to bail on him and his second group hardly even knew what the hell was going on. Versus Negan and his saviors where everyone knew exactly what they were in for and what they were doing, most saviors cared not for the violence and suffering they caused. Negan also didn't need a nice guy illusion, his troops are all on the same page he is as far as morality is concerned. In a conflict Philip's people will most likely buckle and retreat way before the saviors even considering it to be an option.
Yes! Negan had to fight a heriarchy of leadership to rise to power. Governor was simply selected. Physically negan should win. I had governor winning a war if he had a tank and everything else. But yeah youre absolutely right. Negan was more physically intimidating. And better at controlling people. You knew who negan was and wat he was about. Even if he hid behind his people sometimes. So did the governor.
The Governor was a few seconds away from killing Rick while Negan struggled with Officer Friendly and was barely beaten by Him so The Governor beats Negan
The Governor was able to cause more damage to Rick & the group in a shorter time period than Negan could IMO. Negan had a lot more time to display his abilities compared to Phillip & for Gold it’s still a 60-40% ratio. You gotta knock off points for Negan about this one thing tho, PLOT ARMOR. If the Governor had the same shield then I believe he’d surpass him.
To be fair, Negan wasn't trying to annihilate Rick and his peeps. If Negan had the Governor's (or Simon's) mentality, the show would've ended at the line-up. But yeah, the Gov was insane. Dude was just built different.
@@TheRealCaptainGold Well remember earlier in the series the show was all about SURVIVAL but sadly that all changed. When The Governor was around the viewers could see both people & the Walkers as near equal threats to the group. The Governor was looking to expand just as Negan did but couldn’t keep the illusion going once his grip on power was loosening. Had the show stayed on the path of survival like it was earlier then I truly believe The Governor would’ve had it in the bag.
Gun wise, Governor is definitely more accurate and quicker on the draw. Melee wise, Governor had 1 fight with Rick and beat him to a bloody pulp, and that was after Rick jumped him. Negan with Lucille jumped Rick who managed to bleed Negan and make it out ok. Governor slams tbh and that’s not taking into account manpower, mind games, etc

If anything, Negan would've just killed him as an example and enslave his group. He would've gauged the Governor especially if Rick's group never killed him and left then ran into him again. Now I'm curious how a actual fist fight would be though.
One thing I'd like to note is that the Rick that The Governor fought was also injured. He messed up his hand beating Tyreese into a bloody pulp and also got shot in the leg before Rick fought The Governor. If Phillip wasnt fighting a nerfed/weekend Rick he would've lost IMO. I know that this doesn't really change anything but I figured that I'll mention it as most people don't take Ricks injuries into account when he got beat by The Governor.
It axtually does change things because it would have meant that the governor won the war and took all of ricks and group weapons. If daryl died for example the governor would still have a tank.. lol. Hed have ricks colt and michonnes katana. Not to mention the rest of the entire arsenal at the prison.
Rick had a grazing 556 shot to the leg while the Governor took a .44 to the right arm (his dominant arm) and had an eye missing. And then Rick got the drop on him. Stop making excuses. Rick had EVERY advantage and still got fucking annihilated low diff.

Even lori and carl would have died on the farm if shane got his way. Pull your head out of shanes ass #ShaneWasWrongEverySingleTime The only right idea shane had was leaving the group. Maybe with andrea.. shane was wrong because he was too tunnel visioned and had only one goal in mind. Rick cared about people shane only cared about himself.
all i’m gonna say is all of negan’s h2h encounters have been competitive despite him being the only armed guy the majority of the time & the governor is way bigger than negan
To me, The Governor is about all cruelty when it comes to killing everyone, he can snap on anyone anytime, while Negan is more about rule and leads people in his ways and only kill some people to show a warning for being his enemies. Short answer, Phillip might win.
I really like how you include a ratio for wins/losses. I've always felt it a bit foolhardy to assume that the winner of two individuals who are relative in strength to one another can be definitive enough to say that they'd always win every fight every time. There's always scenarios where the script could flip, and I feel like it helps to ease tension for those who were perhaps rooting for the underdog to be able to say "Well. If this were to take place. Then my guy would win."
The Governor on the show i feel like would beat Negan. The Governor was a master at faking being a good person but in reality he's plotting to take you out. The Governor also fights dirty af, the guy bite and ripped off Merle's fingers in their fight. Comic wise though i'd have Negan 100% to beat Comic Governor.
What does faking being a good guy have to do with a fight? Lmao. Negan was a master manipulator. Its an irrelevant argument. Its about wit and durability and weapon choices. Governor tried pulling that shit on rick but rick new better. And peak negan was leagues above rick at that point
@@PricefieldPunk that doesnt mean governor wins though. Maybe in an army fight if gov had the tank and the fire power. But in 1 on 1 combat. Negan should win most of the time. He was also a gym coach so he was probably more physically capable.
@@Iloveyourmom360 its not "just because" of that. Negan simply had more time to adapt. No one is getting mid diffed. Lol. I simply said negan wins most of the time because he is probably more athletic. Negans better at controlling people physically. The only way governor wins is if negan gloats too much. Being crazier like the governor was doesnt really make you stronger. It just means he is more un predictable. Someone like negan for example who probably has a boxing backround. Maybr wrestling. Etc. Has far more options. It ultimately depends on how the fight goes. If governor had his tank and all the weapons from the prison. Then i think the governor wins an all out war scenario. But in 1 on 1 combat. Negan has more potential with Lucille alone. You can break limbs. Lol they both have weaknesses that are relative to their own egos. So its really more in favor of negan if he doesnt fuck around like he always does.
Id personally think weaponry should go to the governors because of the tank he had which is one of his most ironic weapons also breaking merles arm should be considered due to it being tougher than the average persons bones

May just be because I like Negan better as a character and a leader; my money is on Negan. Yes, the Governor was messed up and had no morals; but he was also reckless and impulsive. One of these people used zombies for dangerous fun, the other is Negan; who used zombies as a defense wall.
I think it would've been more interesting if you imagined a scenario where the saviors tried to vassalize Woodbury if Woodbury had survived that long into the apocalypse and never met Rick and Friends. That would mean Woodbury would be significantly larger than what we saw in the show. Possibly on the same level as the Kingdom or even larger if Philip hasn't lost his marbles. Then compare the tactics of the two men as generals on a battlefield. Admittedly the outcome would probably be the same, but it would be more interesting than a one on one when both men relied heavily on their soldiers instead of their own skills in a firefight.
This seems to be a ''who do you like more'' contest rather than a fight. Governor curbs 1v1. Negan is overrated. Comics Negan VS Comics Governor, Negan stomps. But show versions? Governor low-mid diffs 1v1 be it in a gunfight or melee, armed or unarmed. He's better everywhere. He's the only guy who beat up walkers with his bare hands, he cracked their skulls physically, he beat tf out of Merle, Rick, and Michonne and Hershel together, he sniped someone clean from who knows how many hundreds of feet away with a HANDGUN and iron sights, and he took out an entire military squad. He absolutely demolishes Negan no matter where the fight goes.
I love these sorts of videos. Keep them coming Gold. Here’s my thoughts on the most common argument I’ve seen: being that The Governor solidly beat Rick and Negan didn’t. The Rick who fought the Governor, and lost, is not the same Rick who fought Negan. He was a retired farmer fighting a psychopath who wanted him dead. The Rick who fought Negan was a battle-hardened killer (post-murder jacket). And Negan didn’t initially want Rick dead. He wanted Rick to be his servant (people are a resource). In most fights, Negan wants to capture Rick - in order to make a public example of him. If Negan wanted Rick dead, he could’ve killed him during most of their fights. Governor fans are being a bit irrational in this regard. Negan is smarter. Phil led an attack on the prison into an obvious ambush lol Negan is more experienced. Negan is comparable in physical stats and the fight is only close due to Phil’s weapons.
Technically the governor knew about michones Walker in chains technique granted he never used it in the show but you can watch it yourself he literally acknowledged the walkers in chains works to ward away walkers and I think it would more advantages than the guts technique because you risk getting sick or death from the guts.
As a fan of both villains? Or in negans case anti hero in the end ? I think if there would be 1 v 1 Philip would massacre Negan with his own lucile ? Plus a tank or without =D negan as much as I love the dude is mostly all talk cult like which is kinda Gov emo as in he plays the good dude that will kill u with a golf club but ruthless bigger bad no remorse and yes I know negan likes Carl or his no killing a kid police which he forgets (also we talking only tv show) Philip Penny his kid keeping her as a zombie and then we all know what happens when he met Martinez for the second time and his new fam (Gov that is ) nothing changes =) so yah as much as I love both I think 1 v 1 negan takes the knee and Gov wins my opinion =)
This analysis makes perfect sense to me. Negan is a larger threat based on his skills and physical traits. Whereas the governor is more so physical traits are good but not as much IQ in combat as Negan.
I don’t think he’s stronger tbh. a younger Rick was getting straight up manhandled by the governor. He was literally beating walkers to death with his bare hands in a tight space lol literally crushing their skulls. Negan fought Rick on even ground every time
Governor would have grown his group if it wasn't for rick. And I think the Governor is a more personally dangerous person in a fight. And that's telling, because the governor wasn't as far into the apocalypse as Negan.
Highly disagree with a bullpup being better for reloading in tight spaces. They are far worse for reloading than any standard magazine fed weapon. Outside of that this was a fun video!
Let's be real Negan would just absolutely brutalize the governor and Woodbury straight up, like he most likely would have straight up killed Philip and then put Martinez in charge, all the while reaping goods from the settlement
Negan was a PE coach and I think the governor was a business man or did he work in real estate. Been 11 years since. I watch season 3. Not sure what kind of PE coach Negan was. If he was a wrestling coach he should dominate the governor. I think he would have dominated Beta to If he was a wrestling coach. Maybe he was a Football coach. I feel like Negan was more of a fighter then the governor before the outbreak. Kind of feel like the the governor didn't get into alot of fights until the outbreak. Going to have to go with Negan.
The governor is a closeted psychopath but day to day i would definitely prefer being under his rule compared to Negans. Pretty much as long as you didnt piss him off (and he had a fairly generous tolerance all things considered) you were living a relatively happy and comfortable life. Add to it that he didnt really fly off the rails until season 4, after he already lost Woodbury and more. While i can give some credit to Negan for having definite hard standards and moral lines in spite of being villainous and brutal, i cannot say that for the company he kept. Like Simon
The governor in my opinion is walking dead best villain, while negan is cooler, and has a bigger army, the governor is just cunning and very unpredictable. He's smart, tactical but mixed with a lot of crazy. He beat both merle and Rick in a 1v1 which is impressive considering negan was actually scared of a unhinged Rick. And contrary to popular belief, governor broke Rick more than negan did. I can see negan trying to push his bully tactics to use Woodbury as a resource and the governor would use that arrangement to his advantage to gain info and take out negan without having to face his army. If governor can beat the man he can be the man. I see him taking out negan and taking over the saviors adopting negans way or ruling, but more ruthless. Negan has two weaknesses, he's trying to save people to use them as a resource, this gives the governor a chance to exploit that and get closer to negan by playing nice and playing the long game win. Remember the governor is a chess player. And the second weakness is Lucille, negan heavily cares about that bat even putting himself at high risk just to keep it safe from getting damaged. To negan, that bat is an extension to his wife so he holds sentimental value to it which can be exploited in the same way Rick used it against negan.
I would want to see this. Forget tales, make some non cannon mini movies.. governor vs negan, shane returns alive saving rick and his group during the prison war with governor, the whisperers meet terminus, beta gets redeemed into ricks group and turns on alpha. No one is beating The Governor in a 1v1 fight.
At least the governor is willing to throw hands with rsomebody while negan looks like a lost puppy without his precious baseball bat.
Sucks cause comic negan is a big dude and is ready to throw hands
I mean he did give simon the smoke.
@@RicePattyChoppa I meant negan is so attached to his bat he looks lost and worried, but the governor is a savage. As long as he’s able to fight he will. With or without a weapon. You have to pressure negan for a fight or he has to ambush you, otherwise he’s on defensive without Lucille. Negan can fight. I don’t doubt that.
We see that negan can take rick and even overpower him so why run? Walkers or no walkers, the priority target shows up alone. Golden opportunity.
I think people sometimes forget how crazy and deranged the governor actually was.

Governor was OP tbh. He'd destroy Negan in any 1v1 scenario, ranged or close.
Honestly after re watching TWD as an adult I began to really like the Governor as a Villain. And he’s probably one of the best we get through out the whole series
hes interesting as hes completely unrelatable to me. he is terrifying
I don't think the same, Governor, because he's a psychopath, has more ambition and would destroy Negan. Governor destroyed Rick with a shot in the arm and a wounded eye, it's better to never play with a psychopath who bites someone's fingers off 💀
Governor also got beaten by Michonne.
@@JRMAV1 the Governor was absolutely dominating Michonne until she stabbed him in the eye with a shard of glass.

This. Negan relied on reading people, the Governor relied on not being read by people.
@ericolsen5592 well said! And the reason I bring it up is because it's important to consider their groups as well. Negan had essentially a small militia, everyone in his group could fight, while the governor kept all his people as civilians so they were easier to control (save for his small raiding party that is).
I saw a comment somewhere that perfectly sums this up: The Governor is a politician, Negan is an emperor.
Lmao I think this is so wrong. In a real world scenario NOVODY and I mean NOBODY would actually follow Negan. Hes so cartoonish in the show and no one would sit idly by as he punishes and murders members of his group. The governor was the much better leader in actuality. If he wasn’t completely obsessed with revenge against Rick I’d say Woodbury would be pretty successful

Governor beats Negan in a straight hand to hand fight he's too brutal of a fighter for Negan to defend, but the Saviors would whip Woodbury easily.
The Saviors had way more hardware, way more manpower and engineering capabilities than anyone we've seen on the show except the Commonwealth
@ericolsen5592 The Governor fans aren't happy with the verdict 🤣

Here's what Chat GPT 4.0 had to say:
Negan and The Governor are two of the most iconic and brutal villains from The Walking Dead universe, each bringing their own style of tyranny and chaos to the post-apocalyptic world. Here’s how they compare:
Leadership Style:
Negan: Leads with an iron fist, ruling through fear and intimidation.
Motivation:
Negan: Believes in maintaining a strong, hierarchical society where he has absolute control.
Combat Skills:
Negan: Physically imposing, Negan is a formidable fighter who relishes in violence.
Psychological Impact:
Negan: His larger-than-life personality and theatrical cruelty leave a deep psychological impact on those around him.
Downfall:
Negan: Negan’s downfall comes from his overconfidence and underestimation of his enemies.
Verdict:
Both characters are complex villains who bring their own brand of terror to The Walking Dead.
@@dwayneb1047The Governor's tank probably wouldn't last long tbh

Governor vs Negan (Tekken 7) would've been a hilarious match-up. Especially since he would just sidestep firearms.
Pretty sure the Governor wasn't fully healthy either so that nerfed Rick excuse doesn't work when both parties were wounded.
Rick had a grazing 556 shot to the leg while the Governor took a .44 to the right arm (his dominant arm) and had an eye missing. And then Rick got the drop on him. Stop making excuses. Rick had EVERY advantage and still got fucking annihilated low diff.
Saying negan has an edge over governor just because he last longer than him is crazy 😂 cause Rick last longer too but almost got killed by governor if it wasn’t for michonne sneak attack that literally doesn’t make sense at all 🤦🏻♂️

The only right idea shane had was leaving the group. Maybe with andrea.. shane was wrong because he was too tunnel visioned and had only one goal in mind. Rick cared about people shane only cared about himself.
Best antagonists in the walking dead!!
Although I was pro-Negan at both the beginning and the end my allegiance shifted through out the video. Great job.
seems like you forgot the last eps of season 6 and the whistling scene. The charisma on negan and terror and show of power is insane
HERE WE GO!!
all i’m gonna say is all of negan’s h2h encounters have been competitive despite him being the only armed guy the majority of the time & the governor is way bigger than negan
To me, The Governor is about all cruelty when it comes to killing everyone, he can snap on anyone anytime, while Negan is more about rule and leads people in his ways and only kill some people to show a warning for being his enemies. Short answer, Phillip might win.
Governor is crazy and unhinged, but I truly think Negan’s iq would throw Philip off guard

Random fun fact, I guess Andy actually hit Jeffrey and when Andy is running up to him it’s to see if he’s ok because he knocked him out COLD!
The governor has that “psycho strength.” Negan is not fully a psychopath. Making him dramatically weaker
Id personally think weaponry should go to the governors because of the tank he had which is one of his most ironic weapons also breaking merles arm should be considered due to it being tougher than the average persons bones
Governor is way more durable and have a better stamina, he win

Negan and the saviors win against the governor and woodbury. But one on one comebat Governor wins against negan hands down!
Reminds me of the old TV show where they would rate and fight the warriors from different times in history

He absolutely demolishes Negan no matter where the fight goes.
The governor is taking this negan fakes savagery to display dominance but the governor is true savage with his hands hes literally cracked
Lol love the music. This is Negans theme from Tekken 7
Negan was huge, governor wasnt even as big as one of negans outposts...
Woodbury was absolutely bigger and had a higher population than one of Negan’s outposts.
In a large scale conflict between the Governor's forces and the Saviors, the Saviors would totally crush them
Nutsa is so poethic on this one. 100%. And no holding back.🤗
Governor is 6'2 and 180lbs+ while Negan is only 170lbs at 6'1. I think in a fist fight the Governor wins just because hes bigger and stronger.
I don’t think he’s stronger tbh. a younger Rick was getting straight up manhandled by the governor. He was literally beating walkers to death with his bare hands in a tight space lol literally crushing their skulls. Negan fought Rick on even ground every time
Governor would own Negan. He had 0 time for childish games,he just brought the PAIN.
Governor would have grown his group if it wasn't for rick.
And I think the Governor is a more personally dangerous person in a fight. And that's telling, because the governor wasn't as far into the apocalypse as Negan.
I always love watching captain gold mf videos be smackin

Highly disagree with a bullpup being better for reloading in tight spaces. They are far worse for reloading than any standard magazine fed weapon. Outside of that this was a fun video!
Pff the saviours would roll over Woodbury like it was nothing, doubt its closer than anyone thinks
This was a great comparison, you should do more videos like this with other characters
Let's be real Negan would just absolutely brutalize the governor and Woodbury straight up, like he most likely would have straight up killed Philip and then put Martinez in charge, all the while reaping goods from the settlement
😂😂😂 ( rage boost ) hell yeah . 🔥🔥🔥
Comic book Negan is totally winning physically. He is much bigger and intimidating looking in the comic at least.
Great video. Negan would win even if it's with his troops saviors would crush Woodbury.
Negan sought means to an end, the Governor was willing to go the last mile for anything and everything. In an all out war I think governor wins.
Negan's bat did better than trumps guards ngl
I would want to see this. Forget tales, make some non cannon mini movies.. governor vs negan, shane returns alive saving rick and his group during the prison war with governor, the whisperers meet terminus, beta gets redeemed into ricks group and turns on alpha. Yes rick is there in this version. A fear the walking dead story madison and crew from season 2 along with an alive and vindicated troy find alexandria...etc....lots of good stuff
Hand to hand the governor literally beat Rick half to death 💀
The Governor may not know karate, but he knows kur-azy. 🤪👊🏼
I mean Neagan’s group was probably at the same level or even weaker than Woodbury when The Governor was around so society wise maybe equal.
So you’re saying the Saviors would lose to Woodbury in a war?
@@RONALDOTHEGOAT-gl1tl No I’m just saying that we don’t know how powerful the Saviors were when Rick and The Governor had their conflict and maybe Woodbury could have been more powerful around that time.
@@EatTheHomeless674 yeah thats what i thought too. But negans people were combat trained like ricks. They were organized. I would have assumed negan rose to power rather quickly and demanded his law. Ubless the governor had his tank and equally trained people. Negans saviors would still likely have the numbers and man power.
Negan was playing a part, the governor was just a mean man
So basically Negan has to be PERFECTLY on the ball otherwise The Governor could take it.
I would have gived the edge to The Governor in a fist fight because of how he destroyed Rick before Michonne killed him, Negan also beated up Rick but in a least convincing way, that's just my opinion
Negan due to his army
Show-governor
Comics-negan
People often forget show governor was the brother who died in the comic who is physically tougher.
Same name, not the same person. That's either mis-info or just head-canon.
@TheRealCaptainGold they are the same person.
The show just done the old switcheroo.
Book Phil dies his brother lives.
In the show book governor dies and the younger more formidable one lives.
Even goes into the stealing his dad's cigarettes and his older brother taking the blame because he thought he was trying to be the hero.

Yeah, the idea that the show did a “switcheroo” is the head-canon on your part. It really has never been confirmed. And, for some reason, you’re confusing a fan theory, based on an Easter egg, with actual canon.
