So you can add every accomplishment Dr Strange achieved to all the reasons Steve was right. So yeah they need oversight from a competent institution but it is clear that doesn’t exist in the MCU. No "democratic" system has ever stood the test of time. The US is the oldest of what could be considered democratic governments, and it only uses some components of democracy. Monarchies have always been the most stable system of government, which is basically what the Saviors had. You can question Negans ethics, but not the long term viability of his system. Realistically, Alexandria would simply have been liquidated. They couldn't even sustain their own food supply, much less continually provide the Saviors with supplies. This game Is a metaphorical slap to the face to whoever thinks they'd survive a zombie apocalypse. You wouldn't. The average Joe would die within the first month, give or take. It truly shows that those who survive long In these stories only do so thanks to a huge amount of luck (plot armor) and forming groups/communities.

Yeah. You don't see kids in zombie apocalypse media. I mean, you see alive ones, but dead and zombified, that is a rarity. And it's because most movie, game studios, book writers, want to get as much money as possible. So they do it, to be able to sell it to majority of modern population, that is not capable to handle such brutal things. Which also shows what will happen to people, in case of massive crisis. They would just break down mentally.

as someone who used to make a lot of fires in small wooded areas of a residential neighborhood even during harsh winter and huge rain showers btw. Starting and maintaining a fire is NOT easy, don't even get me started on not alerting the firefighters and cops. I learned thru a lot of practice. practice you wouldn't have during a zombie outbreak. try starting a fire with only a lighter when an hour or two outside can mean losing a foot or a hand, I can tell you from experience that unless you have tinder or plastic prepared it's not starting. oh and be prepared to curse the timber if you go with that option, plastic just works, but there's a lot of smoke, so only when it's dark out.

I would argue any large multi story byilding would be a good option rather than rinning off to the wilderness keeping the zombies out of the building wouldnt be to difficult just barricade the entrances. The hard pard part from there would be collecting food and water.

What are the odds that humanity would survive a Minecraft hostile mob infestation? Not just the Zombies, but the Skeletons, Creepers, but the Endermen too? Standard in-game weaknesses and other stuff apply, meaning that they can't figure out how to use a Ladder.

If COVID showed us anything, it's that one-third to half of the people will avoid doing even the most basic instructions to reduce a plague/virus from being spread, with an alarming number not even believing its happening. WWZ book explains that the zombies dont have a smell. Also you get used to bad smells think about driving through farm land and bad smells but the people who live there are used to it just like people who own pets are used to the smell.
