Its unfair that apple watchos versions cannot be downgraded
it will seek on what watchOS it runs..if it runs on latest watchOS, it had to support on the latest updates on iOS too.
Try delete old Apple Watch backups
On your iPhone go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage.
Scroll down until you find Watch and tap on it. delete all the back ups. Also try ... Delated the Watch app and reinstalled and also hard reset your apple watch by holding down the side buttons. Make sure the watch is 100% fully charged.

I reset my iPhone pro 11 max after dealing with stupid beta ios17 testing, finally reverted back to ios16 and now my iWatch 8 says I need a newer iOS iPhone to pair.

The main problem on connecting shows with versions of IOS
other than beta software. If any have beta software then fail to connect.

I have iOS 12.5 on my 8 plus and I was given a Apple Watch series 5 I DO NOT want to update my iOS firmware on my iPhone is there another way to pair the device? Your accident is hard to understand and your speaking very quick. Plus when you switched to another device in this video you kinda defeated the purpose of this video.
This actually happens after the incompatible version on both watch and iPhone.If you have both of them up to date then no issues. This also happens on the same version like iPhone has a beta profile and the watch was on official firmware. So make sure both of them were on beta or both of them on normal IOS.
@@thegsmsolution1 they are both on a normal firmware I just factory restored the Apple Watch I really hate putting newer iOS on my stuff because it does make it slower it looks like I’m going to have to suffer on this one I hate what they did on 14 with all that new widgets BLAHH🤮
1) get on laptop -log into iCloud -go to settings forget Apple Watch 7
2) turn off Apple Watch then turn back on
3) go to WiFi on Apple Watch and connect hotspot on phone to watch it will connect
