Paddle Out Memorial Max Verheijen

On May 11th 2020 five Dutch surfers died in a storm on the North Sea at Scheveningen. One of them was Max Verheijen, a 22 year old surfer from Muiderberg, the Netherlands. Max' friends organized a paddle out memorial to honor their friend and celebrate life.

This is a beautiful tribute. Didn’t know him, but I was deeply shaken by the fate of the boys. I bought the little album and saved a photo. RiP & ride on in heaven dear Max. You will not be forgotten 🥀
