I was excited to see you cook a pork shoulder and to can pinto beans. I’ve tried canning beans but they were too mushy. Thanks to your excellent tutorial, I see what I did wrong. The beans must be raw not parboiled plus I didn’t have enough liquid. I used to can a great deal. Canned beef was our favorite.
