For the planes (these are CAD files so lines, no fill), make Live Paint group, Select all with a Paint selection marquee tool, fill with black, so here comes the difference, expand Live Pain group, assign a thin (0.25pt) border, expand it in object menu and press Unite in Pathfinder palette and done. You assign the stroke so that you unite or overlap all the pieces inside the silhouette.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh okay that makes sense. Thank you so much! I had no idea these were CAD files. So is this the process? 1. Make Live Paint Group 2. Select all with Live Paint Group Selection 3. Fill with Black 4. Expand Live Paint Group 5. Assign a 0.25 Border 6. Object > Expand 7. Pathfinder > Unite
@@BooneLovesVideo Yes when you expand strokes, they become close paths and they connect two neighbour closed elements (as a consequence of expanding Live Paint) and then Pathfinder can unite them because it works only on overlapping elements. And CAD files are normally only lines which Illustrator recognize as paths from exported SVG.
Great tutorial where you understand your workflow! One interesting thing is the presets you used for the position, did you create them a while ago so you can use them when you need them?
One time purchase. No more hidden fees. But if they publish Geolayers 4 in the future, then you have to pay a little bit extra. But geolayers 3 will be free for life.

And delete the greyed out wheels, because they'd be inside the wings.
Nice job. Congratulations on the new role. You truly deserve more.
Thank you very much! I appreciate the kind words.
amazing content as usual, thanks a lot! We wish you the best with FELT
Thank you so much. :)
nice one with felt, used it before, and seems like it has a lot of potential - just haven't actually had much use to explore further yet.

No, it was very much just loosely following the reference map.

Both the creator of GEOlayers and I have an ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo.

do you think lenovo legion pro 5 is good for doing the same job?@@BooneLovesVideo
Hi, I just wanted to know if Geolayers 3 is a one time purchase for the whole package or are there any additional monthly costs, etc?
One time purchase. No more hidden fees. But if they publish Geolayers 4 in the future, then you have to pay a little bit extra. But geolayers 3 will be free for life.
It's a one-time fee to get the plugin. If you want to open up additional features, you can get a MapTiler data subscription.
