Then you have an exaggerated sense of yourself. Good god man, can you even imagine how many songs Pollard alone could have written that are :45 or shorter?!

He had a show on the London station GLR 25+ years ago, back before it got taken over and ruined (and much the same happened to Glinner). I remember him playing GBV's under-appreciated song Big School on it.

Even Robert Pollard hasn't heard everything GBV have done!
hahahah golden comment
Lol the best comment
lol
Chances are he'd heard "Russian tribute to GBV" compilation album on Bandcamp we've made
Yes but has Kim Deal seen everything Robert Pollard has?

You shouldn't even know who they are!!!
If the song "Unmarketed Product" wasn't on that list, give it a listen. It's only a minute long and it's incredible.
Katherine Parkinson was just so perfect as Jen, they could not have done better.
Same with Richard ayoade
Agree
Don’t underestimate Chris O’Dowd. Talk about perfect casting!
every single actor was immaculately selected!!!
"I shouldn't even know who they are!"
None of us should! ;-)
I think Bob has forgotten more songs than most people will hear in their entire lives.
Have you ever heard of Cradle of Filth?
They really got me through some rough times.

It sounds horrible but.. it's actually quite beautiful
Wait they’re real too? I didn’t know the band mentioned here was real until I read these comments?
I spent my childhood (when I was 13 years old) watching this show and it brings so many warm memories to mind. I’d usually watch The IT crowd every day before going to school it was simpler and funnier times lol
Wrong. It's humanly impossible to have heard everything GBV has ever done.
I dunno I think I'm pretty close

Katherine Parkinson talking about GBV is a special thing to behold.
I can watch this little piece of the IT Crowd FOR HOURS and not get tired of it

I'm proud to say I love GBV!

Stewart Lee also liked Bitch Magnet
Even Bob has forgoten half of the songs he's written
I just had a job interview yesterday and had a flashback of this scene and it was hard not to laugh in the process.
the show is called "The It Crowd". In the background of the IT office there are tons of GBV references
I have no idea how I missed GBV in the '90s but thank god for IT Crowd showing the way. Still one of my favorite scenes of all time.
It isn't, they actually play Game of Pricks in an episode.
God I love that song.
Possibly the finest of their 2,637 songs. You think I'm joking, but gbvdb.com/tracks.asp
What do you mean by "It isn't".
