You have so many comments so I doubt you'll see this but I wanna say thank you so much for this upload. I'm a complete beginner to cooking and I didn't want to try because I saw everything as complex. Seeing how easy you made this look I gave it a try today and it turned out great, it also really gave me some confidence with actually trying to cook and makes me want to try more things. Not to mention it's a super easy and tasty thing to eat rather than just snacking on junk food.

I make these for my mom and I only I learned to do it with 3 eggs and 2 full slices of bread, which tends to be too much food for us, so we cut it in half. Just yesterday, I had already eaten, but I asked her if she wanted this for lunch and she said it was too much food. So grateful for the quick tip on how to do it with smaller portions, thank you!

this is a very nice way to stack up a sandwich, holding everything in place. Basically it can be assembled with any filling we like. it's foolproof! any type of bread + egg + meat + greens + cheese = a complete delicious bfast. Its perfect for light dinner too!

Just made the one (w/green onions, a cheese and avocado thing) and a fruits cup to go with it. Very substantial. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, snack, etc. Loved this very creative way of making a sandwich. Enjoyed, thank you :)

@@jegnur That's the only thing I miss here; some approximate time indication; I take it that you keep the sandwich on the low heat for a while after you've closed it up, turning it a few times, in order to let the cheese melt. After the avocado one has been closed up especially, the edit seems to make a "time jump", and by the time the sandwich is placed on the plate, the cheese looks melted.

This technique is so versatile that I love it! This would be awesome as a tuna or chicken salad melt.
This technique seems to be very popular in many Oriental countries. I saw one fairly recently that used some kind of cream cheese, plus regular cheese, and then at the end, spoon some strawberry jam down & over the cheese in the middle. I couldn’t fathom what it would taste like, but the channel has this pre-recorded phony “mmmm” at the end of every video so it’s kind of hard to get an accurate opinion abt that.

@@MsIDKwatmynameis just figured the surrounding egg wouldn't be enough to completely warm. I'd probably throw the ham in the pan first for a little bit before placing in the sandwich.

These are so lovely and look delicious! I would love to serve these to my family. One suggestion, though, I would definitely cook the ham in the pan for just a minute as well, a little browning will give you a deeper flavor. But, to each their own, I am sure many would love it as it is.
Yes, and using real cheese instead of American "cheese" would make it that much better too.
And I'm thinking the middle is still cold. Cheese need to melt abit too

These are *damn* good. I made mine with tomato slices and shredded mozzarella, but the possible variations on this are basically infinite. You could also go with beans and salsa if you're in the mood for Mexican food.

I made something similar on the griddle this morning. Used 2 slices of Italian bread (small slices) Breakfast sausage, onion, green peppers, a sliced mushroom, and 2 eggs in an 8 inch egg ring. The certainly keep you full and focused till lunch time!
