Regarding the red GMC truck repo: I bet some landscaping person fell behind on their payments and got their wheels hauled off. Poor sap but that's a pretty pricey truck on a landscapers salary. Either some dishonest salesperson made that buyer a deal they couldn't pass up or the lawn business nosedived when cooler weather came. We used to call that "filet mignon tastes on a mac and cheese budget."
The T/A stands for Trans Am. The name comes from the late 60’s-early 70’s SCCA Trans Am series racing. This series also included the AAR Cuda, Boss Mustang, Z28 Camaro, AMC Javelin and more. It also is a SRT if it has a 392 with Brembos. The original SRT was a specific model but was discontinued years ago. Now all 392 cars are SRT cars. Lastly there were regular R/T T/A cars that came equipped with 5.7 and no Brembos. The T/A is mostly just a trim as opposed to the original.
Very good but you forgot the R/T scat pack versions are also 392 6.4 but no Brembos. Essentially the Scats are base SRTs. Houndstooth cloth standard instead of Laguna leather, smaller infotainment screen ect

Good morning Randy. The 2021 GMC is a good looking truck even though it's got a little damage to the fender on the drivers side. The 2023 Kia K3 is a good looking car.

In The Netherlands most people drive a 3 or 4 cilinder. Perhaps we don’t tow a lot with our hitches but I’ve got a 320i E91 LCI M sport manual and it tows plenty for most scenario’s (1700kg rated on the license plate/tag). Used the tow hitch once in the past year and it did quite perfect! Ofcourse you can’t load a X5 on the trailer and put that behind it but I hope that’s rather common sense. Our country is not that big so we get free delivery with most products we buy, we don’t need big engines or tow capacity because they deliver right to our doors with semi’s. I’ve had a 330i E91 pre LCI but I’m not bothered about the less horsepower since it saves quite a bit on gas. Comparison: 330i did 1L:10km, 320i does 1L:15km. Also a litre costs about €2 here for premium..
From my understanding, the SXT and GT have the 3.6, the standard R/T has the 5.7, the Scat Pack has the 6.4, T/A can have either the 5.7 or 6.4, SRT 392 has the 6.4, and Hellcat/Redeye/Demon/Jailbreak have the S/C 6.2. And the 6.4 is branded an SRT engine. It’s so confusing. I have a 2020 forte and it’s sad to see one locked up. Mine is just about to hit 80k miles and it’s been a solid car. And those Camrys are incredibly good cars. Just gotta watch oil consumption. I had a 2006 Solara with the same engine and it did burn some oil. But just check it periodically and it’ll be minty.
The SRT was the upper trim package for the 392 engine. Scat pack, Daytona, then SRT 392. Then the Hellcats started. They are rare, I had one as a charger 2018. Basically a hellcat with the 392. They were dropped as a package.
It is so easy to right off a motorcycle. I had a Kawasaki 1100 full dress and dropped it on some loose gravel. I had no even got the bike in motion when the back tire spilled out from under. I did not damage a single metal part on the bike, but only scratched the fairings and hard bags. Had the bike for 6 months only had 2000 miles on it and they wrote if off. Bike parts are so expensive. The hard bags were about $1600.00 each and the fairings was going to be in excess of 3500.00 with a full tear down to paint the tank (which somehow got a slight scratch). I got my full retail price from the insurance company, and have never ridden a bike since.
With 430lb of torque the 2.7 should tow better than a 5.3 V8. It has a longer stroke than the 6.6 duramax. Its a solid engine for people primarily driving the truck around in light duty use and occasional towing. It was extensively engineered to power half ton trucks and so far it seems like its reliable. IMO if people keep the oil changed often it should last a really long time. Being turbo it will be more vulnurable to bad maintenance than the regular V8.
We have a Safelite flood transit van that was completely under water and it's not going to run without some electrical repairs but the oil is clean in the motor. I though it was going to have a 20quart milkshake in it but the oil is clean. Unfortunately it went down a flood river and got smashed in one of the rocker panels. A turbocharged four-cylinder and a full size truck ? NO NO AND NO. I guarantee you that four cylinder will have a short life. I keep my trucks for at least 200k and no way would that one make it.
I agree. When it comes to a half ton pickup truck, I'd rather have a truck with a naturally aspirated motor, and not a turbo. If you have to rely on a turbo, you're buying the truck for the wrong reasons.

That big a truck has the same engine type as a Honda Civic, crazy.
And that turbo almost certainly means 90+ octane fuel...
A hOnda Civic doesnt have anything as a 2.7 liter I didnt think?..I thought they were more 1.5-1.6 liter
It also deactivates 2 cylinders when cruising, meaning my Harley has more active displacement at that point...
Hey Randy You should rent a 4 cylinder truck and do a video comparing it to the Ram! ✌️
That kind of damage is caused by the door being peeled back into the fender.Check the door panel for impact damage.
Dodge. The scat pack is a trim package on the SRT cause they put the SRT 392s in the scat pack. It's the trim package below the hellcat.

Hi Randy
I have 2.3 Twin Turbo diesel. Great motor. Never fails me. Towing is a breeze, loads of torque. No way I would get a V8.
The 5.3 and the 2.7 make the same gas mileage
That Toyota would be a good first car for someone….just saying
A turbocharged four-cylinder and a full size truck ? NO NO AND NO. I guarantee you that four cylinder will have a short life. I keep my trucks for at least 200k and no way would that one make it.
Our company one is around 179k with no issues yet
I’ve seen multiple 2.7 engines in these trucks with over 150k. If you keep up on the oil changes, they are fine
I agree. When it comes to a half ton pickup truck, I'd rather have a truck with a naturally aspirated motor, and not a turbo. If you have to rely on a turbo, you're buying the truck for the wrong reasons.
I wouldn’t buy a full sized truck with anything but a v8. I’m old school. Big truck v8 simple math
Are you going to show us every car ? 😂
thats the black top edition. its a factory option on them dogde cars
5.7 rt. 6.4 srt i think
please take a look at that blue ford Ecosport in the background at timestamp 31:22 Please Randy
just drop another engine in the KN...sorry i meant kia........from the scrap yard.......
@@markjordan899 that's a pretty expensive trip to Vegas. Do you gamble with other people's money often? What happens when the junkyard engine is just as bad or worse?
Pretty much all Kia engines go out at 130,000 miles
Get the gmc the red pickup
If you're interested in reaching out to Chevrolet let me know why I might be able to connect you with some people that work in the Electrical
Check out rv and trailer
Wow that poor gmc truck. Scat pack might go cheap.
