I took a tour of that Hall when I was in LV a few years back. Its massive, it holds 6 apparatus. 2 Engines, 1 Tower, 3 Med units. The Engines are pretty pimpin, when you open the doors, steps come out of the frame and when the door closes, the steps retract back into the frame
@Justdoit317 Yes it is the HQ for Clark County Fire Department. There is another HQ for Las Vegas Fire Department in downtown Las Vegas and is even bigger!!!
@firepower782 Same here. What makes it better, our Honolulu Fire Department looks a lot similar to Clark County Fire Department's rigs! Try search it up on the internet and you'll see...
@FreedomHigh4 Studies show the two colors, red and blue, have different visibility at day and night, and one is much better at night, and the other is much better during the daylight (I can never remember which). Anyway that is the reason that in Australia they changed from all Blue for Police and all Red for Fire/Ambulance back in the 90s, now everyone uses both red and blue - so they can be visible both at night and at day.
Sahara Ave. Building I houses the HQ offices and fire house. It sits near the Nuke Testing Museum, and UNLV solar engineer program stuff. Looks like a structural residential package going out?
@dirty654321 If you look on Google Earth west of Groom Lake AFB, aka "Area 51", is the Nevada nuclear weapons testing range. It's a massive compound where the USAF test nuclear weapons underground, hence all the craters. The museum most likely is about there and the Manhattan Project.
@Top10Mr Uhm, LVFR is city and city only, CCFD is Inclusive to the whole county, which I would assume would be focussing mostly on the unincorporated areas, but idk, no county FD round here.
@FreedomHigh4 The problem with using all blue lights is that they're much less visible in the daytime than red lights. (Quite the opposite at night.) I say all emergency vehicles should have blue lights visible all around, and red lights visible in front and to the sides, and amber in back. Virginia does allow the use of red and blue lights on police vehicles, it's just not as common as all blue.
@Justdoit317 I would guess it's a county municipal building. Rather than have separate buildings they just stick anything that has to do with Clark County on the same lot and save money.
Clark County Fire Department trucks look so similar to our Honolulu Fire Department trucks. I guess its because Nevada is considered the Ninth Hawaiian Island, as referred to the people of Hawaii.
they should understand how to pull over to the side when they see a fire truck when they said pull over to the side when they're passing a fire station but it's that is the law how to pull over to the side when they see any fire vehicle with lights and sirens on That's the Law of the cold and a butt they should understand the law how to pull over if you do not know how to pull over you should not drive your car
Yellow trucks and red & blue lights. Seems odd to me. I'm used to the red trucks and red & white lights we have always used. Red & blue is strictly law enforcement here.
Love the halogen bar below the window of the truck!
That truck was sooooo awesome! I love the wail its so badass! And the white and blue battalion! Love this video so much!

@Kenster1025 these are Clark Clark County FD, separate to LVFD - CCFD is yellow, LVFD is red
hope this helps.
Engine 18 has a really cool light bar! You can see it pretty well at 0:16.
@southerndiesels yes it it...the building on the left is part of it...its the main headquarters of CCFD
beeindruckende Fahrzeuge !

dang thats a huge station if that building to the left of the bay is part of it
that was a nice station, nice sirens, mice lights, and great trucks!

I'm a traditional red apparatus guy but I must say that is a sweet color scheme.

those rigs are sooooo sweet!
yea. that is a actual museum here.
i hope thats the HQ because if not thats the biggest damn station i've ever seen. If with an HQ in there, place is still gigantic.
@Justdoit317 I would guess it's a county municipal building. Rather than have separate buildings they just stick anything that has to do with Clark County on the same lot and save money.
Nice trucks, yellow color, blue and red LED lights, great! @Dirk hast du noch mehr von der Wache?
Clark County Fire Department trucks look so similar to our Honolulu Fire Department trucks. I guess its because Nevada is considered the Ninth Hawaiian Island, as referred to the people of Hawaii.
i like these colours!
Those are nice engines
Nice lightbar on the engine.
why do they have red and blue i thought fire trucks are suppsed to have just red or white
Very nice !
Does LV have all yellow trucks, or is it just this station?
nice looking rigs

Woah a Visibeam on the engine
@Cipher160 I'll go and check it out thanx
What's the difference between Clark County FD and Las Vegas Fire-Rescue?
I’ve been to that station
I like the yellow color, unconventional and pops out better.

@Korbs21 Lol i lived in Vegas and still live in Vegas for 6 years, and I still don't know what the heck the place is. XD
The 4X4 looks like a police SUV
Dirk tell me, what kind of camera do you use?
@genralfilipinoboy
Oh I've seen honolulu, it looks great. The yellow fits.
Anybody else see the 'Atomic Testing Museum' sign at 0:55?
i have to agree. the light bar needs a pattern. I did not like it.
Yellow Fire Trucks Hmmm Well You Dont See That Every Day :P
2019 2020
Engine 18 gefällt mir persönlich nicht so gut aber der Rest schon.
Geile Lackierung!
@HFDEXP551 Your kidding me right? That bar fuckin sucks! No flash pattern.
Beautiful trucks!!! Congratulations to the FDLV! Much better than FDNY ugly trucks
