Time flies by. Albert was my friend and neighbor in Malibu in the late seventies mmy daughter was a year old, I am happy he has such a talned daughter as well. . Only see him on the road now, I have always been a fan.

I recently bought a Korg A3 unit of Ebay from a guitarist called Dave based up in Yorksire. During a phone conversation he said he was a great fan of Albert Lee. I had not come across his name until then and have to admit am blown away by his playing. Thanks to You Tube and generous Albert Lee fans I'm really enjoying trying to catch up on what I have missed over the last few decades! btw Alex has a wonderful voice.

I would echo Bob's comment. There is something wonderful about singing with one',s children. I get such immense joy from sharing music with my four children. It is obvious that Albert does as well. Not sure how he kept his composure. Just beautiful!
My GOD! I first met her over 25 years ago! Albert was signing autographs at NAMM, the LONG lines were for Steve Morse, so we had a good chat...but she was bored and it was "Daddy? can we leave now?"
Albert Lee is Gypsy lost tribe. And, of course everyone knows the "Gypsies are the greatest musicians in the World." a quote from the movie, "El gadjo Dilo," ie "the crazy outsider." And, behold Albert and Alexandra ! Playing and singing straight to the heart, no prisoners. I actually saw Albert Lee play the most mind bendingly beautiful lead guitar solos with Eric Clapton and Ry Cooder in 1983 in the Long Beach Arena. Albert's solos over all of EC's stuff slow and fast we're most magical, happy, heart breaking and melodic rocking notes I have ever heard. This duet reminded me of that night. Eric Clapton did a long, slow blues solo in front of Wonderful Tonight that was amazing. Clapton was a sponge for Albert's notes and helped Clapton to play even better !
awfy nice. father and daughter. the father played behind? the famous original. albert played with everybody. probobly the fastest most humble country guitarist effir. you dont see him on t.v. boasting. alexandra. you have a father that you can boast about. special specs are needed to watch the speed of the deft touch fingers. i would love to embellish. but he woudnt like it. thanks albert.

Been a fan since the days of Head Hands and Feet. He was incredible then he’s even better now. As for hi daughter! WOW! What a voice.
