They also don't fire the engines at full thrust so they don't rip the launch mount out of the ground.

This reminds me of the day when I witnessed the Colombia shuttle take off on April 12th, 1981 from Florida and I was standing in knee high water of a small lake seperating the launch pad from the photographers staging area. The power of thrust from the Colombias rocket engines surged through my entire body and it was an experience that I will never forget. 🇺🇸🇺🇸✈️

SpaceX tends to nail the visuals. But it's usually third-party recordings that get what I find to be truly the best part of engine firings, namely, the sounds...

@@HaharuRecords I'm not saying that other companies necessarily do better. Some do release footage of single engine test fires with good audio. But for whole rockets and the like, third-party recordings are where one usually finds the good audio.
Rocket companies and aerospace organisations' main thing (aside from the launch itself) is to show to visuals, since that's what's usually the most eye-catching.
Even in visuals, SpaceX is usually the leader, normally being the only launch provider to have 4K streaming equipment available during launch, though with their move to X, the stream quality usually tends to get manually limited by them.
