Im the happy owner of the R5c the R3 and two C70s... and there is just something special about holding the R3 in your hands... a freaking amazing camera.
If I was to only have on camera for everything i would actually go with the R3 even that the R5C is the most "Hybrid" of them all.
But in using the speedboosters for both C70s and the ND adapter for the R5C.. so yeah im team EF for the moment, but I kind of like the older EF lenses to be honest :)
thats correct for me too, i had the chance to use most cameras for a shoot or two nowadays and be able to test and the r3 is the best overall for the most stuff and yeah EF glass has something special to it.

Have your shot with the Sony A7s III or FX3? I’m wondering if the Canon R3 low light performance compares at all to those cameras?
Yeah man I’ve shot quite a lot with the fx3 and gave a shot to the A7Siii as well they’re high iso performance is amazing as well on lab testing it’s probably a tad better.
but the image is actually better overall on the R3 the 4K is downsampled from 6k and looks better to my eyes
And internal raw is a game changer
And taking photos is a lot better.@@DanAllouche
I have both. The Siii wins out on maybe having the cleanest image at high ISO, but the R3 image is far superior in 90 percent of situations.
@@baelovelight2742 R3 still pretty good in high ISO even if it is not better than Siii low-light performance?
depends on your situation and what you mean by low light. best would be to test both out. @@alexmainwaring

Interestingly, the R6 Mark II has this. It's a baby R3 for much cheaper with the same AF and similar IQ (some say slightly better) but just not a stacked sensor and no 4k 120.
I completely agree with everything you said and would add once more that the image quality of this camera is insane and you can stretch it over the edges... I never experienced such ISO capabilities on FF camera... yo can take your images without to think about ISO noise and it gives such a flexibility if you are pushing your gear over the edge. I have one more thing to mention here and that is autofocus in bad lighting conditions or in darkness, with hq RF glass... it is insane, there is no match in the market now...

The best lenses for me are primes 50,85,35
And for the sd card’s I’d go Sony tough V90 300mbps
Or the sandisk extreme pro v90 300
And for the cfexpress I’d get the sandisk extreme pro
I’ve used plenty of different lenses….
24 1.4
35 1.4
50 1.2
85 1.4
100mm macro 2.8
And 200mm f2

I have the R3 but not sure if to keep it or go for a sony.
I mainly desire shooting video and also have the world of photography, but im stuck on lens options as i dont wanna carry too much.
For video and some photography, if u had to chose 2 lenses out of the 3 bellow, which would u chose ?
Canon 24-105 f2.8
Canon 70-200 f2.8
Canon 15-35 f2.8
Or perhaps u have a better combo for two lenses that are good for video and photography as one.
Nature view shots, streets and portraits photography and video as one.
Hey I’d keep the R3 it’s the best of everything… for the lenses I’d go for a 15-35
And a 70-200

What about the combo of RF 24-70 f2.8 along with the 70-200 RF f2,8 ?
The Canon 24-105 f2.8 is in fact the only lens you'll ever need for film making but it cost 3k, yikes!

I am very curious to see what Canon will give us with the long-awaited R1. I now have the R3 which is truly a fantastic camera.
Also curious to see what it will bring to the table… but in all honesty the R3 is more than enough for everything I want
