Finally the two of them behaving respectfully in PMQs. Shame it takes this to cause it
Shame it'll be over next week, right back to primary school classroom behaviour.
Don’t believe a word of their sombre sermons tbh. Just feigning a faux tear for optics, especially considering the present Tory government have played an active role in prolonging the inquiry.
After all the blather, what will they do about it?
Same as the other disgusting events, probably sweet FA
What happened please can you explain am kinda lost
@@Charly.reviewsThe infected blood scandal was that in the 80s we imported transfusion products from the US that turned out to have come from US prisons and were infected with HIV and Hepatitis, this was then used on those with hemophilia and other issues, infecting them. This wasn't unique to the UK, but in many countries investigations and prosecutions happened in the 90s, whereas in the UK it was basically covered up until an inquiry was finally set in in I think 2017?
So great to see politicians acting like adults. Long may this continue.
Dont be Fool by these criminals
Don’t hold your breath it won’t last long, neither of them give a toss about ordinary people their too busy lining their own pockets, let’s have a peep into their bank accounts first and see if their as honest as they make out to be,let’s look into Rayners account first seeing that she’s accumulated £3,000,000 over a very short period of time allegedly, if it’s good enough for ordinary folks to have their accounts watched then it should definitely be ok for the better off amongst us.
😂 they’re just laughing about having flipped you all off right before going on their hols
Remember when you all voted to have me leave so that you could have the entire country (crown jewels), to yourselves, then wouldn't let me!
First time Rishi answered a question. I’m shocked.
In a roundabout way I suppose, do you think he knows the words yes and no?
@@lynby6231 I think he knew the game was up, so no longer acting in the weekly panto. Too little, too late.
Labour is a breeding ground for Hamas and Jihad era about to begin in full flow in the Uk
Ireland is already in
Quietness, respectful debate and insightful?
Is this the same parliament weve been watching the past 15 years?
I must admit I know it comes from very somber and difficult circumstances but I like parliament where things are credible and professional
_I was also thinking this when I read your comment. The last time I recall seeing them like this was at the beginning of covid. Is it right that it takes a tragedy or a crisis for them to raise their game?_
I think the professionalism only comes out on issues of cross party agreement right now. It’s refreshing instead of the boasting or slagging. Hopefully if Labour get in Kier brings some professionalism back to the role of PM
Actions speak louder than words.
That was an actually decent PMQs.
Then Danny Kruger friggin' ruined it.
Who??
Stamer is consistent with his tone at PMQs. Rishi only turns up his serious "professional" behaviour when someone in the room has directly been impacted and death is involved. Yet I still sense this is an act to appease colleagues.
Depends on who suffered. He is inconsistent in all things
Unless it's Brianna Ghey's mother
Labour is a breeding ground for Hamas and Jihad era about to begin in full flow in the Uk

The most important PMQ's of the year.
Sunak’s face during Starmers opening speech tells it all
Labour is a breeding ground for Hamas and Jihad era about to begin in full flow in the Uk
Ireland is already in
You'd be forgiven for thinking Sir Kier is PM in these exchanges.
@amc5966 Don’t talk Stupid!!
He should be PM
@@danuk2136 He will be in 6 weeks
@@amc5966 I hope not 😬
Being fair, he has been in waiting since Partygate.
As soon as the Boris Johnson government collapsed and burned, an election should have been called there and then.
Cycling through the utter dross that was Liz Truss and now Rishi Sunak, in which one killed the Queen and the other broke the law and lets his wife evade our taxes for his own gain, the Tories need banishing to the depths of history forever.
Is he going to call an election?I wouldn't be surprised.
Yep!
Sunak out
Yep - although the Tories are trying to stop him.
This is the most sensible and mature exchange I've seen in pmq
This is how PMQs should be conducted every week…
What is utterly shocking is the way these scandals keep happening in the UK and the way in which instead of facing up to it and reduce their occurence, we delay and the taxpayer ends up paying collosal sums not only for the inquiries but massive compensation. Totally agree with Starmer. Our state seems to be systematically failing and I choose those words carefully.
That was absolutely fantastic. I hope things can continue like this
Get ready for PM Keir Starmer
When he said politics is about service I chuckled 🤭
Self-service
of course the man he said it to is an absolute scumbag as well
@@slayerrocks2Suank can’t handle people hate him
Serving billionaires
Service in the Commons bar and restaurant are first class.
Starmer knew this would be a highly televised pms’s
At last, grown-ups behave like grown-ups. Let's hope that ministers actually read these comments, it is the sort of politics our country deserves, not handbags and slander that we see week in and week out.
Time to act on the COVID cover up which is far greater than the blood scandal!
They had the same killing rate as in WWI and II.
Yes Johnson's decisions killed many!
They can't because then we will see all of the payments they took
You are talking utter rubbish 😮
The COVID cover up is incredibly important. The contaminated blood scandal was almost unbelievable… to have taken blood KNOWN to have been contaminated and give it to innocent people is beyond disgusting. Successive Governments did not deal with the issue and provide an apology or compensation. It’s taken until now to do so
It’s very noticeable that both leaders mentioned the need for reform. We need to remember that the Tories want the NHS to fail in order to introduce yet more privatisation. Whilst Labour may use this to reduce privatisation and take back control.
Obviously Keir had to bring up the failures within the NHS but it's a mine field for him whilst the c*ntservatives are in power. I can already hear "Even the leader of the opposition agrees the NHS isn't fit for purpose" thankfully they're in zombie mode & I don't think they'll do anything but that comment could easily be turned against him & used as an argument for more privatisation! NOT a properly run & funded NHS!
Neither is the answer. We've got to get away from this "privatisation bad, public good". NHS should remain free at the point of deliver, but private sector absolutely is better for some things and a public provision better in others. The NHS needs alot of reform, but a centrally managed state control monolith is'nt the answer. Neither is a private insurance based system.
@johnwilletts3984. Hahahaha!
@@GrahamRead101or you mean since it’s funding was cut then it made private look better
Nearly everything you do via private you need nhs approval
@@shahedali02 no,I mean it’s not either or. Much of the nhs runs on private sector supply. Who supplies the software that plans and runs all the surgical data sharing, who builds the MRI machines, who runs the national registries. ?
You couldn't make Sunak's comments up
No, that's because he does make it up.
@@Thirdfish Indeed, the fantasy world Little Rishi lives in is his own creation. He'll have your *ss for copyright infringement and will see you rot in jail even if he has to pardon a dozen murderers to make room for you.
oh boy I cant wait to see what questions go unanswered in this week's episode of PMQs. At this point I just watch these to see Sunak making himself look like a fool
Edit: wow that was actually a surprisingly normal and productive PMQ
The ultimate irony.... Politicians discussing candour and transparency!
To every single Member of the United Kingdom Parliament:
THIS. THIS IS HOW YOU SHOULD CONDUCT YOURSELVES AT ***ALL TIMES***.
- The UK Public
I do quite enjoy seeing the Tories getting absolutely roasted by Labour.
Exhibit A: Kier Starmer vs Liz Truss at her last few PMQs.
Interesting that the PM did not mention his own MP whom Starmer recognised after going through a life changing issues.
Respectful but no real substance from the PM.
We need a general election now to allow us to move and recover.
He did during his opening speech prior to Starmer’s speech. It wasn’t included in this edited video.
Before the end of World War II, the Allies suspected such a defence of “following orders” might be employed and issued the London Charter of the International Military Tribunal (IMT), which explicitly stated that following an unlawful order is not a valid defense against charges of war crimes.
I just spend 15 hours in Derby AnE overnight, watching people collapsing and basically slowing dieing in chairs with no food or water.. Only two doctors on shift. I knew it was bad but to see it was an eye opener. Why people have kept voting tories in year after year is mind boggling
@laurenceritchie .Wait until you have to pay for what Labour will do!! I can hear the wailing and moaning now.
@@howardvarley8795we’ve had to pay for the conservatives to strip bare the services we have… highest tax burden under this parliament, and our services asset stripped
This is the only time I have seen even a shred of genuine decency in Rishi Sunak
Like any of these people will be held to account for anything ever.
Should be in prison
@@RagingViper24 Escape to LA is the best we can hope for. He could be back in ten years for the swap over offering change and stability.
@@joemillar8305 I wish anything to get out really
Sunak knew he was gonna call an election. It's why he's being so respectful
that was the very best PMQs I have ever seen very well behaved I hope to see lots more
This is possibly the most genteel and polite first 15 minutes of a PMQs I have ever seen.
When Starmer referenced his time at the CPS, I thought "ohh, not again!" So did a large proportion of MPs. 😆
Rishi answering questions today! So proud of him! At lastttttttt
I always enjoy watching PMQs and have for years, even as an American, and this may be the most respectful and substantive exchange I have ever observed.
Looking at Sunaks totally changed tone, Im guessing he's about to call an election.
When will MPs be held to account for their failings? Unless this is rolled out to all public servants, including MPs, it's all for nothing
Wow rishi addressing questions instead of deflecting them!
The duty of Candor should also include this house of right honorable members too
This was actually a decent pmqs
This is how it should be conducted every week
I was shocked by both leaders behaving like adults
Finally, they have grown up... Listening to this debate sounded like adults having an adult conversation, Professional and how our Politicians should behave.
Rishi when inflation goes up it is global, inflation goes down it is you and your policies that brought inflation down. Worse government in living memory 😂😂
Labour is a breeding ground for Hamas and Jihad era about to begin in full flow in the Uk

Strong rumours of a General Election announcement at 5 PM. 😮
Don’t mock me🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 please let this true, please🙏🏾🙏🏾. Let this be more than a rumour
It’s a rumour 😂
You were right😱😱😱. Okay winning lottery numbers please🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
who is the minister that is addressed at the beginning? couldnt work out the name from the transcript or the actual sound
Craig MacKinlay - the MP for Thanet South
Let me guess Rishi Sunak fails to answer a single question yet again 😂
Actually this time they actually had a serious discussion / debate. Shocking. Why can't it be like this every week
only because they're both fully guilty criminals and they're trying to fool us that this is just all an accident 🙄
keep voting, mugs
Watch before you comment
end of an Era of one of the greatest PM we ever had... Rishi , you will be judged by your legacy, thanks for your service and brave decision making in the tougehst situations of covid, brexit and war.... people will only realize it when you're gone... Let the labour begin the show now!
Are you on drugs? The guys has been totally useless
I vote for this sensible behaviour, logical, professional and practical
An almost normal PMQs today
And the sinister pantomime endures. They don’t care. In fact, they often orchestrate the pain and suffering themselves, on behalf of those who pull the strings of those who sit in board meetings of the largest corporations.
How many decades will it take for them to admit their horrendous crimes against humanity in more recent years?
For those questioning the ICC prosecutor’s decision to apply for arrest warrants against both Hamas leaders & Netanyahu
When judging whether someone has breached international human rights obligations
The standard is NOT the other side
The standard is the LAW
I tried to watch this on SKY NEWS I seen the start and then SKY changed to the bloody post office scandal so what happened to PM questions?,😮
PoliticsJOE, Wow, this made my day brighter! Thank you!
It feels as if Sunak is on a tightrope - wanting to make things more difficult for the nhs while trying to retain his own seemingly effortless and increasing avoidance of accountability. He needs to stop squatting in number ten because he doesn't belong there.
"so that's a no then" lol
From Downing Street to Scotland Yard, hopefully one day we will be free
We must make sure that this does not happen again? It is already happening again. It has been for last 3 years.
The 2 scourges
Cripes! 8 minutes in and both parties agree with each other...
Will you also apply the “DUTY OF CANDOUR” to the CCRC ?
Perfectic
Let's take a moment to pat ourselves on our backs. And let's scratch each others backs while we're at it.
This house is united saya it all both as corrupt as each other, people need to rise
What was KS's starting tribute about?
Did they just.... Agree??
The faces on Hunt and Dowden are a picture. Starmer the PM.
Starmer has broken every pledge he ever made. He's a Red Tory and every bit as corrupt as them. There will be no material change under his Labour. He's a shameless careerist and his stance of Palestine has been cowardly.
Sunaks response "of course" what a fob off
Roll on the 4th of July......😂😂😂
He would rather pick on the disabled and forget the kids living in food poverty
This indeed is a very serious subject matter. And indeed, the state of our country and living standards have a level of seriousness too (not quite the same level). I wish that all matters can be discussed in this way during PMQs instead of verbally taking bites out of each other.
So so much better to see actual discussion instead of putting on a show to wim points
Andrew Bridgen has been raising concerns and they don't bother to show up!
same old shit for the last 3years same old crap about this in this house
Is there some kind of guide to lego hairstyle politician trends?
Did Starmer know the election was going to be called - very different atmosphere here - and Rishi answering questions (first time ever).
ITS ALL A FIX
How they pretend to not agree and work together is astonishing and people eat it up
The thing is its just scandel after scandal but no one gets held accountable im 57 so i dont think i will see any one in court cos it will drag on an on
Vote.......I do not consent.
it sounds like 2 best buddies pretending to fight each other for show.
Who said they are in power by the end of the year? 😂
Good one Keir Starmer
Who’s the in charge here starmer or sunak , it’s the first time I have seen starmer completely overwhelm him in all areas
The first time? There’s been a few in recent weeks
@@bonk5207 yes he has gotten the better of him many times I just felt he completely out footed him here , anyway you call it as you see it
Back in the late 1990s labour won the general election by a landslide. In 2008 there was the financial crash due to the bankers overborrowing. A few years later the coalition had a plan to reduce the deficit because the country was bankrupt. People who long for a labour government should be careful what they wish for i.e. high inflation going through the roof and other ill thought out policys.
@@barrymontgomery408 and this lot have put us in way more debt than labour ever did we are completely screwed, we are taxed higher than ever before , food cost more than ever before , public transport is way over priced , water works have gone to hell yet they are still making a killing , not only making a killing but they are rubbing our faces in it . This lots debt doesn’t compare to the state labour left it in , the tories are so much worse how many generations will it take to pay this debt back , if ever 🤷♂️
It's nothing more than an establishment facade. It's intended to make you think you have a choice. When in fact the Banks, Large Corporations and, these days to a lesser extent, rich families and old Etonians have ALL of the power.
any reasons why starmer tone down so much in this PMQ session? Is totally a different style.
Everyone saying, nice to see them finding common ground and not arguing. The only reason is because every one of them is guilty for turning a blind eye and covering up all these scandals. If these were private people or companies that had done these things, they would be in a criminal court facing years in prison, but these people get away with it...
If i had the money
I would leave
I did leave sadly not the answer for many to just leave.
He doesnt or wont want to extend the duty across the board because that would mean that he himself and his cabinet would be exposed.
What happened to the mp he's talking about?
Genius. This exchange robbed the PM of one last barnstorming poisonous PMQ performance.
Wow. How grown up.
Find the people responsible and get the people responsible n to a courtroom.
Unfortunately politics is primarily these days of self service it seems to me
