LYRICS: Come on, kids! Gather round! It's time to meet a marvel of light and sound! Here's here for fun, so don't you frown! He'll be right here, when the reels rewound! He's Bendy! (The darlin' little devil himself!) He's friendly! (Sing and dance and drag you straight to hell!) Descending! (Down to where the wickedness dwells!) Three cents please! (Take a seat and start completing your will!) I came back to Sillyvision, I really wish I didn't, Been here a minute and I instantly wish it good riddance. Something's hidden, think I blinked and saw a scribble livin' Deep within the dope sheet Some unholy tome is written Uhhhhhhhh. Was this gig meant to be filled with figments of demonic pigment? I don't think that's proper use of the equipment Syphoning frightening tyrants from the page into existence No longer on the stage Golden age has gone away Sketchy spooks want to play Sing along or be erased More than this place's rep is stained Who'll clean up this ink and paint? Pigment is a stinkin' pain Let alone when it can maim. I've had enough of those rubber hose murder toons Ink over flow, Puppet show Out to tear me into twos Twelve frames a second, every one is spellin' certain doom Mowing through a load of goo, that's grown into what Joey Drew! Left forgotten on the blotter We just want an chance to be The creator couldn't save us, you'll be slain by our machine! Think that I might go insane now As I try to solve this mystery But you know that inbetween the breakdowns, You can always find the keys Darkness roused No house of mouse Ink pen king pin You're in my house now. No survival kit, chuck your tex-books out No illusion, it's life And I'm devout So you Kahl yourself an artist? Well I don't think you even know what art is! They say that art is just catharsis That's why masterpieces are all pieces of carcass! I had a littler Fleischer inspiration And Iwerks hard for it! Think you can Waltz right in? Take part of it? Singin' Merrie Melodies, through Tartarus? You've drawn the line? I gave it life and artifice! You got my telegram Swear there ain't no parlour tricks! Just some pentagrams and a couple' candle sticks! Infernal engine, wrenchin', Lazarus, Through my pen, rendering masochistic avarice! F-amily fun turned cree-py crawl-ey, Frank-en-stein meets Frank and Oll-ie Who said smiles had to be joll-y? Smile a mile de-fil-ing bodies Sill-y spooks got hell-a gor-y. Probably an all-e-gor-y House of laugh-ter built for slaugh-terin'! Fun time fac-tory tell to toll-y Soon enough You'll come round Embrace this darker art What goes up Must come down Everything moves in arcs You've been walking round in cycles, And you've had your ups and downs When you passed out we made contact, Extremely deep underground I've been drawing seven circles And that's where he can be found 'Cause these creatures need their sheep So he can free us from these bounds Can you hear him crawling through the pipes around the sanctum? Your sacrifice will free my from the shell that I'm trapped in I got some questions 'bout the chair that I'm strapped in?! Hush little sheep! Come meet a pal o' mine with black wings I'm being hunted by unwanted children's picture shows! By some unholy ghost that broke out of the zoetrope! The Devil's doodlin' and I guess he found the rotoscope! 'Cause now his scrawls can walk the halls of fallen studios! Twisted animator Black magic machinator Don't let 'em get ya their adventures, hurt far less on paper They'll squash and stretch ya' though The gears of their accursed creation To bring to life a new imagineered abomination Darkness rains incarnate at the heart of this machine! Just how deep this inkwell goes is remaining to be seen Think that I might go insane now, As I try to solve this mystery. But you know that inbetween the breakdowns, You can always find the keys.
How do you not have a million subscribers yet? I've been subbed for so long and I just want to see you hit that milestone so I can celebrate it with you. I love your work so much and I want others to experience it! I suppose that's off topic though.
Just want to note, as someone who relies a lot on subtitles, stupendium always does a fantastic job including the lyrics in a way that makes them part of the video, a part of the experience but still readable. It makes me feel like I'm not missing anything by having CC on or my live captioning taking up a third of the screen. He really uses font and transitions perfectly.
Yup. I have trouble hearing words lol so I love when music videos have proper lyrics or at least proper captions and not auto captions which are always laughable (A moment of silence for the kids and teens who have relatives who insist their habit of asking “what?” is not in fact a genuine inability to hear right / convert sound to words the first time, but rudeness to be criticised and snapped at. That sucks. And they’re wrong) x
I cannot believe that ever since the original 2017 edition, I am just now noticing "Keys" could be a reference to keyframes used in animation. It's the smaller details like this that really improve the sheer quality of every Stupendium song.
I assume that pun was intended already in the game? Haven't played it, but I've heard Stupes refer to "finding the keys" in Art of Darkness too (about Chapter 4) so sounds like it's probably a game mechanic.
I can’t possibly describe my feelings on pen and paper, let alone keyboard. This ink-redible remaster sounds so much more eerie and spine-shivering than the original if that’s even possible, since V1 was as perfect as can be! Congratulations on 100 Episodes Stupes! Nothing could have been more fitting for this monumental milestone than going back to basics and coating this phenomenal phonographic fire with a new layer of ink.
I HAVE NO WORDS!! The classic remastered?! I loved the original one so much, and hearing it again with a fresh coat of ink is music to my ears. Honestly the best way to celebrate your 100th video!
The small change in the sequence right before the instrumental break from 3:17 - 3:25 with just the timing of the drops and everything just makes it hits so much harder because in the original it kind of melted together which gave it a little more of a dark twisted cheery vibe. In this version it’s just punctuating every single beat which just makes it so much darker and more intentional feeling and I love it!
Normally I'm not a fan of remasters but the way this is done is so much more hard-hitting than the original. While the tone of the original (slightly different) means it still has a lot of appeal, I think this is otherwise a massive upgrade in terms of how punchy every piece of it feels. (Not to mention the visuals)
I remember finding the original video back when nerdcore was all gaming stuff and it truly stood out, it made an impact because of how much effort went into every little detail. The wordplay, the animation, and the easter eggs. you can still go back to that video and probably find something you didn't see the first time, and to see how far stupes has taken that mindset is so awesome, can't wait see how he continues to improve.
Having watched the development of people making music to different games over the years, I am incredibly happy that you found the success and motivation to keep going from this song. Your development as an artist on so many levels has been a joy to watch. I personally now hold you as probably my favorite within this somewhat niche genre of music. I thoroughly enjoy your music and have watched all your video's on YT, many several times. Wish you all the best in this weird but lovely career you have chosen for yourself.
I can't believe how GOOD this sounds. the original blew me away back then and this one blows me away even more! Crazy to see how much improvement and growth has come since then, great work!
The fact you’re still hearing comments on this video proves dedication. The kind of dedication that it takes to make songs like these, and to make this one even better. Keep being amazing!
OMG! That's what I call a remaster. We can hear so much more. So many "voice layers" if I can put it like this, and the instruments, the elec. guitar riffs. That was AWESOME! Thanks, Stupes!
This was the first Stupendium video I'd ever listened to at a very tough point in my life, dropped out of college due to mental health and was feeling so bad, but when I first heard this it gave me something to enjoy and strive to make. Thanks Stupendium for all the great work over the years. You're awesome. 😊
As someone who has learned animation, so many of the lyrics delighted me (especially together with the visuals)! I think my favorite is the walkcycle bit! This song really made it sink in that you're also the animator behind all the mindblowing visuals on your channel and I just???? What a renaissance person! Honing all of those skills must have taken so much time and effort, I am just blown away!
@@jart1984 right???? I first thought so too, but nope! Stupes draws their own art, animates their own videos, and build their own sets, props, costumes etc! They have some helping friends with the latter, but the behind the scenes videos show how much work and time they sink into every inch of each video. It's absolutely inspiring if you ask me! So much passion and love in each piece! It really inspired me to try out more new things too haha
Yessir, you're so right. Lines like "everything moves in arcs" and "they'll squash and stretch you through the gears of their accursed creation" are absolute killer animation puns as well
I can't say for myself since I'm not a creator, but you've earned this. I don't think most people would make a final upload with this much dedication put into it. Knowing this now, it really fits as I never questioned how this much attention to detail, from frame animation to media references, was placed into this in such an early stage for your channel. Even if this is something the algorithm would just pick up because of a trend, knowing this was suppose to be your final supper, this video was most definetly a whole new beginning.
Definitely wasn't expecting to see this, but more Stupdenium Content is always great Stupendium content, and your Bendy stuff has always been great! Keep up the awesome work!
Been here since “Why did I say Okie Doki?” And this was one of the first songs I ever downloaded to listen offline. It’s still on my playlist, and it still absolutely slaps. Ink-credible man, absolutely
Doki Doki may be the one that placed this channel on the map, but it was this who created this foundation. I know its cheesy, but knowing he was suppose to retire from RUclips after this upload just changes our perspective to a lot of what we know.
Does Stupes know that this is the best Bendy song ever made, right? Honestly, what is not to enjoy about this one masterpiece? It has great writing, an eye candy of an animation, insane rapping and vocal talent and an earworm of an istrumental. And now it's even better with the remastered. Enormous props to you, Greg. Never stop doing what you do, cause you'll always have a great fan in me
What a beautiful rendition of a true classic! The whole song feels like it's had new life breathed into it, and is cleaner than ever before! When the drums kicked in at 3:38 I audibly gasped. I've listened to the original a couple dozen times, and I imagine I'll be listening to this one a couple dozen more. Thank you so much for everything you've done, Stupendium. A master truly dedicated to his craft! 🥂
5 years really slips away, doesn't it? I miss Bendy so much... Seeing this fills my heart once again, hoping that he will return for us. We are so few compared to the last time... He will come back for us, just as we are here for him after all this years of void. My hope fades away every day. Still, you made an amazing job and I'm still loving the tune and creativity. Brings hope once again. I'm always grateful to Bendy and it's fanbase for giving me the push I needed to start drawing. This you made is art, pure art with love and dedication.
A: I didn't think people still had a thing for bendy B: *I'm confused, what's *"bendy and the dark rival"* C: is there a brand new game coming out or something...? D: if there's anything new with bendy coming up, than where have I been if I haven't heard about it whatsoever 😂😂
I legitimately spilled my water when I saw this in my recommended. Find the Keys has always been a song I hold dear to my heart, and this remaster does it so much justice. Everything, from the vocals, to the music, to the animation has been perfectly polished, and I don't think that there was a better option for a 100th video than coming round with this masterpiece. Amazing stuff, Stupendium, you are truly an inspiration.
I don’t know what to say… this is a fucking MASTERPIECE. It’s not just the melody or the lyrics, everything transpire a incredible amount of research, studying and competence. Stupendium you are one of the most incredibly talented director/musician I’ve ever seen, please keep doing this
"Just how deep this inkwell goes is remaining to be seen" I literally have an OC named Inkwell bc this line jumps out at me every time I listen to it. My brain took one listen, slammed its fist on the metaphorical desk, & went "Now THAT is one HECK of a good OC name." I was looking for a name anyway, and the lyric actually fit really well- shes a bit of a meta character, bit of a free spirit, and answers to no one, least of all me. Thanks for the inspiration, and the BANGER song! You always make great content :D
What an ink-credible way to celebrate your 100 video anniversary, a remix of one of your old classics while referencing some of your other raps! I've been listening to your masterpieces since Vault Number 76, and you've improved so much as a musical artist since then! Thank you for everything you're doing, and best of luck for the future!
I’m surprised how immersive this version is, it still has the nostalgia factor, but that extra depth makes it extra special, even in little ways (I especially liked how “pal o ‘mine with black wings” sounds in this version)
"But you know that inbetween the breakdowns," "You can always find the keys" 3 animation terms and the statement is actually factual. Stupendium's genius lyric writing doesn't fail to amaze me.
"but in between the breakdowns, you can always find the keys" That has got to be the most clever animator puns I've ever stumbled upon! Seriously, your texts are just so well written with hidden meaning and references in every single lyric, you are a mad man and I m so happy to witness your progression through the years. Keep dreamin, sir! Cuz what you put on paper is surely moving.
You're making me mad... Considering that I'm just a poor Italian that doesn't know how to speak English and knows a just a little bit of your language. (probably you don't understand nothing I say sorry =)
As an artist and animator, I really appreciate all of the visual and lyrical references to the many aspects of animations thrown in this video. Because really that's what Bendy is all about, animation literally coming to life, for better or for worse. Also having many different cartoon characters show up here as cameos is a nice touch.
The sound design and storytelling to the video game’s lore are chef’s kisses; even at 3:30 where the audio subtly eases out for a moment and then fittingly ease back into play. 🎶 I still have and remembered the original version of the song, Stupes! Awesome job! Happy 💯th!
I didn't think it's be ever possible for a video to ever come near the perfection of Art of Darkness. Let alone a song by the same creator on the same game. Absolutely a spectacle to behold. 10/10
I was just rewatching this, and felt like saying. My dad was an animator for the Disney company back when Roy Disney was in charge, and worked on some of the original Disney movies, and he absolutely loved this song. Especially all the references to animation and stuff. Truly a incredible job
I wasn't here for the original "FIND THE KEYS", but "ART OF DARKNESS" was my first Stup song so this is still hitting some nostalgia notes for me. Congrats on - well, on everything!
Hey Stupes, I'm with friends and we have a good time. We saw this come out and now we listem to Art of Darkness as I type this. Thanks for all the stuff and have a good night!
Ah, I was just thinking of this song today! It’s such a masterpiece, and I think about it whenever I’m attempting to animate. The segment "you've been walking 'round in cycles and you've had your ups and downs, when you passed out we made contact extremely deep underground" actually helped me remember and understand walking cycles better! Thank you forever for this incredible piece of art.
The instrumentals, lyrics, and animation are all done so incredibly that it’s overwhelming. I love the idea that Joey Drew studios have a bone to pick with other animation studios.
Simply the song is ART. The lyrics, the tune, the art on the back, the voice, the references, EVERYTHING. The song is fantastic and it makes sense that thanks to it you have become what you are now! We see how much you "Werks" hard on it! Congrats!
Remember when we all thought the last game chapter would have a lot of deep lore tying the plot together? Haha. I still think the visual design (of the games and this video!) is fantastic, though. Classic Bendy makes me smile, he's just so cute.
Man, the vocals and instrumental have way better mixing now! Everything sounds nice and clean! And the animation is superb as well. I really like the use of showing the process of the animations and seeing all the test drawings. Most Bendy songs don't really lean into the animation side of Joey Drew Studios
i wanna write an entire essay about how well written this song is. there are so many cool little details, and i’m just legitimately in awe of the pure genius of the lyricism. Well done, stupes. 👏
Can we just talk about how far stup’s has come. I’ve been listening to his stuff when I have free time in school and he is just incredible. He was the first nerdcore artist I ever saw and I was addicted! Thank you for all these year of enjoyment!
I was wondering how you could even improve such a masterpiece, and here we are, and I gotta say you succeeded. The changed voices and that creepy pause in the middle are my favourite changes, and the animation adds a lot as well. Your music has been a part of my daily life for quite some time, seeing that this is the 100th video is crazy to me. Keep up the incredible work, excited to see what great stuff the future (and, well, mainly you XD) have in store for this channel :D
I honestly didn’t think that this would hit harder than the original, but you managed to do that! I’ve loved this song ever since the day you uploaded the original, and this makes me so happy!!
Absolute classic. Haven't heard the original in a while, but I can already see the bedazzling improvements you've made! Keep up the great work, my friend.
When I heard this was coming out, I was expecting like almost a full remake of the first video with some updated animation. I guess it was a little ambitious to expect that, but what we got is still good. I can tell the video quality for the animation is improved and has a more HD quality to it, and of course the audio, mixing, and music do sound much higher quality. With the music having a more original feel to it, as the original video just used a pre-existing public domain track. It's a great remix/remaster all around. Much like many people, I found this channel through the original Find The Keys, I was blown away by the quality of the video and wanted to stick around for more. And since then, your talent has only grown and grown and grown. You've come long way since then, and have made some truly marvelous videos. The sheer passion and effort you put into each production is beyond immeasurable, and it makes every time I watch a real joy. Never think your passion is wasted, because it really isn't. Congrats on the 100th upload Stup, and thank you for almost four/five years of amazing videos, music, and love for all things art. Here's to a hundred more.
I love this to be absolutely honest. I remember the original. I'm a bit surprised that I didn't even notice this when it came out, but it is amazing, and I love it. I also love how you stuck to some of the same visuals in areas where you touched up the song and made it better than before.
Just decided now after having given this version of the song a listen to listen to the original to see what all differences there are between both versions... and I must say, it's very noticeable. Mostly in that the music itself, excluding the lyrics, has been massively improved. Certain portions have been changed audibly such as the scene with Demonic Bendy coming out from behind the stage and knocking the camera down before running off as it goes to the next scene. In the original, music played still during that bit. In this version, you can still hear the music, but much fainter as the demonic presence is dominant over the music in the scene before the music itself returns in the next scene. Additionally, the voice work of everything is far higher quality compared to the original. And also even better than the original in terms of everything he did to make the lyrics really come out with this song as best as possible. Overall, a truly well done remake. Altho I was quite surprised to find out that not much changed visually between the two versions. Besides maybe some additional effects here and there visually to make scenes be more unique in a sense and fit a bit better. And maybe some touch up work wherever was necessary. Genuinely tho, this song is a legit work of art. (pun partially intended too because ya know.)
Absolutely delightful to hear a remaster of this! I believe this was actually the song that brought me to you too! Surely hope someone can explain all the references again, this did teach me a decent bit about animation history after all. That moment where the music stops and the demonic Bendy is all we can hear is just....wow! Really nailed it with this remaster!
I know it’s a common joke but it’s nice to see this with a fresh coat of paint, also love all the little tidbits from other games. The Bioshock one caught my attention, and given the allusion to Andrew Ryan in “The House Always Wins”, could this imply we may see a Bioshock song at some point? Either way, always a good day with Stupendium content.
@@zomtato8002 Oh really? Perhaps I’ll have to look into that, Bioshock 1 & 2 are some of my favourite games of all time so any and all content Is a gift lol

I found this channel through Dan's video about Scrabble challengers, as I was astonished by the quality and amount of effort you put into something most people wouldn't have bothered with. Where everyone else had made short, simple responses, you made (really good, ERB level) content out of it, and that conveyed so much passion for your work, which I have seen in video after video in the years since. I think the original Find the Keys shows its age in the audio quality department, but the lyrics and singing have always been great. "You've drawn the line? I gave it life and Artifice!" is still one of my favorite lines from any song, and I love the way that whole verse steadily ramps up in intensity as Joey loses his temper and starts to show his resentment. You're gonna have to find something really interesting to do for your 200th video!
To think that the original was made when you had like 700k less subscribers than you do now. I still remember when I first discovered your channel through a reaction by VaportheGamer, and thinking “It should literally be a crime for this man to not have more subscribers.” Lo and behold, here we are today. The fact that this remastered version is so much better despite not a long being changed truly is a testament to your consistency and quality from the very beginning. Here’s to a million subs before year’s end!
now that i’m a little older, i can properly appreciate your lyrical genius, because man, this is just amazing. the beat is sick, and the lyrics are just [chefs kiss]
The attention to detail in this video!! Everything down to the sheet music at 2:45 actually being accurate to the song, this video is so intricate and beautiful and I love it. Amazing song, amazing remaster. Great job
Discovered the channel with Art of Darkness and I've loved the ride ever since... from the earlier songs to the new ones, there's really not a single one that I don't enjoy and that's honestly amazing I think! Incredible effort and talent oozes out of every line you put out, and I'll keep listening for a while to come. Let's make the channel hit the million now everybody!
I absolutely love at 2:04 where the voice gets more distorted and demonic, then stays like that most of the rest of the song. What an amazing transition!
Such a banger. I wish an instrumental was available somewhere (preferrably on Spotify) cause it's a straight up bop this time, but hey, it's really good either way. The improvement both in the editing and the actual song is unreal. Congrats on 100 songs and let's hope the next 100 will be just as good as these first!
As somebody who found your channel through this song back in the day, (I can't believe BATIM was that long ago), this was an excellent retooling of the already excellent song you made. Honestly, your skills with 2D and 3D animation, combined with your incredible lyricism make me so jealous.
Holy crap this is incredible! I still love the old version, and I've played it on loop too many times at this point, but this still somehow tops that! I am a sucker for harmonies, and the bit at 1:02 just made my ears so happy. Overall an awesome job as always and keep improving stupendium!
Thank you, Stupendium. When Find the Keys first came out i was just a little dude in elementary school, and now im almost in highschool. As young as i am, your songs and videos were and still are like 85% of my childhood.
The first song i’ve ever heard from you, brand new again! Its truly amazing to see how far you’ve come since then, I’m glad i got to be there to see the journey and the growth of this amazing community : )
You never disappoint, boss. I don't feel qualified to analyse the finer points of the song but I absolutely love it - the eerily cheerful vocals, the unrelenting beat, it's both bopping an dcaptures the game's vibe probably even more than the original version. But the thing I'm most grateful for is the fact that it kept you for us! If things do indeed move in arcs - and I don't know about that - you are still well moving skyward, boss.
I don't know that I'll ever see another artist that quite hits the level that I see you at almost regularly, between the videos and the music. Your tracks are almost without fail a joy to listen to, but your videos just make the whole thing such an amazing presentation. Honestly Stupendium, you've earned every bit of success you've seen and then some, here's to the next round, and I'm hoping every day more people experience your work.
You know... this remaster made me respect the original even more. I'm pretty sure I saw you say on twitter that you only changed a few small details visually on this track, so I've been paying extra much time trying to find new details, and every time I thought I found one, it turns out it was already in the original! Truly gives me more respect for you that even back then, the amount of detail in your videos is absolutely stellar! Stupendous job as always and great work on nr 100!
This was quite a shock to see in my feed. The It's a Joy remaster was absolutely heavenly and now this has given 'remaster' a whole new meaning. Bravo!
This is a beautiful remaster, I have to say. I loved the original song, but the higher pitched voice parts were a little bit too loud, they cut through the music in a way that came close to triggering my sensory overload troubles. I still listened to it multiple times, because even with its downfalls it was just SO DAMN CATCHY. So now, to hear a remaster with not only the sensory issues gone, but which has been revamped to sound a thousand times better? Perfect. Just perfect. And the animation, too... I wanted to be an animator myself, once upon a time. After some experimentation I gave up on it because of how difficult I found it to be at the time, but now that I've advanced and learned about actual animation software, and methods to creating animation, the knowledge has just sort of been sitting in the back of my mind. Seeing Find the Keys for the first time was enough to kick start that interest, seeing all the references made to animation and how clean the animation was. Now seeing this remaster, and seeing already great animation made even better... well it's really igniting that fire again. I'm going to have to give animation a go again, I think.
I don't know if this was intentional or not, but I love how the line at 2:27 has a double meaning, since Ub Iwerks designed the Mickey Mouse we all know, but Walt Disney took all the credit for the design!
ive listened to it alot too while doing the dishes and i didnt hear a single difference other than that one clapping sound before bendy knocks down the camera
cant believe i hadnt seen this one sooner , the rubberhose animation you’d done for this is fucking PHENOMENAL ?? its so authentic i am Obsessed oh my goodness
This song is always phenomenal. I tried to pick up on the remastered bits and it seemed like the music was crisper, the vocal layering changed and I don't remember that end guitar solo. I also loved what you did with the part where Bendy grabs, throws, and chomps the viewer and I don't remember if this was in the original, but the eviler sounding voice under the jolly Bendy sound at the end was a great touch. One hundred, though. Congratulations. If you don't go insane from constantly putting out such pristine content, I hope to support you and enjoy your content for another thousand videos or more.
I didn't think this could get any better. The original version was already amazing, from the music to the brillant lyrics. I was (pleasantly) surprised to see a remastered version. And yet, you can't deny how cleaner this one is... And I certainly wasn't expecting the part at 3:27 ! It's always so pleasing to listen to and a pleasure to look at. Bravo ! 👏
As a student animator and creative I am just mind blown every-time i see your work. Animation in a range of styles, VFX, Sound mixing, Vocals, Voices, and the creativity and dictionary flare that is required to do what you do is inspiring. Congrats on your journey to the mighty 100 and here's too the mightier 1 million. P.S. You mind sharing some of that talent around
Stupendous song as always! Even as a remastered version, it feels like a new experience with everything that was changed (for the better of course!) It will most definitely be one of those songs that I listen to on loop whenever I get the chance to for about the next month (At least!) And after reading the description, it's definitely an amazing way to celebrate the channel's 100th video! *Clicks replay for the 158th time*
I absolutely LOVE the new tones that couldn't be found (or heard) in the original! I also love the depth added at the beginning and the added elements that makes this peice alive! Also, the parts of the chorus that could never be heard are crystal clear now. As always, a work of Art Mr. Stupendium!
I remember watching this for the first time enjoying all the references and then reading the comments to discover all the ones I missed. goes to show you’ve always went above and beyond in your productions. Loved seeing this remastered it was great. Can’t wait for what more you put out Stups~
I'm constantly in awe of your work, and this remaster is no different! You're incredibly talented and I'm so happy every time I see that you're continuing to grow your skill
The animator’s song… I love it so much. I caught every single reference to animation, even in the animation. First time I heard this, I literally lost my mind with how clever the whole video and lyrics were. And him murdering all the cartoon characters was unreal.
the amount of skill to have the lyrical prowess and an absolute understanding of music is off the charts. he power of story telling and rhymes are immense in this one . Stupendium is way too good at this lol.
I remember not being able to watch this due to age policy, but I got that clarified and fixed and can enjoy this masterpiece. Well made, addicting lyrics, references to other horror things, catchy beat, very addicting. Glad to see it come back.
AHHHH THE NOSTALGIA I've been watching you basically since this song came out, your channel has come such a long way since then! This remaster is fantastic, I know the original by heart and my goodness the improvement! I don't know a thing about making music but it's already been good and now it's just incredible - and the little touches like the voice edits here and there and that silent creepy bit with the Ink Demon rising up? So so cool Well done, I shall be addicted to this song once again XD (Also as someone who is still a huge fan of BATIM, this is awesome to see!!)
Besides the talent to just make an entirely new song, both songs touch upon the intricate nature of animation itself. Research and respect for animation and music are felt throughout both. Which is good, since, after all, were it not for the original artists, we wouldn't be where we are today, from the earliest animation cells that made up keyframes, to the burgeoning tech of Adobe flash and beyond. This is a remaster in the most honest sense, it pays true homage to the progenitor that is Disney.
I watched this multiple times, even managed to sync it with the original and listen to them together. amazing how unnoticeable some changes may go. i really liked the way you changed mouth shapes singing scene to sound more like a crowd singing rather than an individual, tuning down some and upping others. it was great joy to catch as much changes as i did.
LYRICS:
Come on, kids!
Gather round!
It's time to meet a marvel of light and sound!
Here's here for fun, so don't you frown!
He'll be right here, when the reels rewound!
He's Bendy! (The darlin' little devil himself!)
He's friendly! (Sing and dance and drag you straight to hell!)
Descending! (Down to where the wickedness dwells!)
Three cents please! (Take a seat and start completing your will!)
I came back to Sillyvision,
I really wish I didn't,
Been here a minute and I instantly wish it good riddance.
Something's hidden, think I blinked and saw a scribble livin'
Deep within the dope sheet
Some unholy tome is written
Uhhhhhhhh.
Was this gig meant to be filled with figments of demonic pigment?
I don't think that's proper use of the equipment
Syphoning frightening tyrants from the page into existence
No longer on the stage
Golden age has gone away
Sketchy spooks want to play
Sing along or be erased
More than this place's rep is stained
Who'll clean up this ink and paint?
Pigment is a stinkin' pain
Let alone when it can maim.
I've had enough of those rubber hose murder toons
Ink over flow, Puppet show
Out to tear me into twos
Twelve frames a second, every one is spellin' certain doom
Mowing through a load of goo, that's grown into what Joey Drew!
Left forgotten on the blotter
We just want an chance to be
The creator couldn't save us, you'll be slain by our machine!
Think that I might go insane now
As I try to solve this mystery
But you know that inbetween the breakdowns,
You can always find the keys
Darkness roused
No house of mouse
Ink pen king pin
You're in my house now.
No survival kit, chuck your tex-books out
No illusion, it's life
And I'm devout
So you Kahl yourself an artist?
Well I don't think you even know what art is!
They say that art is just catharsis
That's why masterpieces are all pieces of carcass!
I had a littler Fleischer inspiration
And Iwerks hard for it!
Think you can Waltz right in?
Take part of it?
Singin' Merrie Melodies, through Tartarus?
You've drawn the line?
I gave it life and artifice!
You got my telegram
Swear there ain't no parlour tricks!
Just some pentagrams and a couple' candle sticks!
Infernal engine, wrenchin', Lazarus,
Through my pen, rendering masochistic avarice!
F-amily fun turned cree-py crawl-ey,
Frank-en-stein meets Frank and Oll-ie
Who said smiles had to be joll-y?
Smile a mile de-fil-ing bodies
Sill-y spooks got hell-a gor-y.
Probably an all-e-gor-y
House of laugh-ter built for slaugh-terin'!
Fun time fac-tory tell to toll-y
Soon enough
You'll come round
Embrace this darker art
What goes up
Must come down
Everything moves in arcs
You've been walking round in cycles,
And you've had your ups and downs
When you passed out we made contact,
Extremely deep underground
I've been drawing seven circles
And that's where he can be found
'Cause these creatures need their sheep
So he can free us from these bounds
Can you hear him crawling through the pipes around the sanctum?
Your sacrifice will free my from the shell that I'm trapped in
I got some questions 'bout the chair that I'm strapped in?!
Hush little sheep! Come meet a pal o' mine with black wings
I'm being hunted by unwanted children's picture shows!
By some unholy ghost that broke out of the zoetrope!
The Devil's doodlin' and I guess he found the rotoscope!
'Cause now his scrawls can walk the halls of fallen studios!
Twisted animator
Black magic machinator
Don't let 'em get ya their adventures, hurt far less on paper
They'll squash and stretch ya' though
The gears of their accursed creation
To bring to life a new imagineered abomination
Darkness rains incarnate at the heart of this machine!
Just how deep this inkwell goes is remaining to be seen
Think that I might go insane now,
As I try to solve this mystery.
But you know that inbetween the breakdowns,
You can always find the keys.
you are one of the best artists in history
i'm your fan
One of, if not the best song about Bendy And The Ink Machine!
Keep up the work
How do you not have a million subscribers yet? I've been subbed for so long and I just want to see you hit that milestone so I can celebrate it with you. I love your work so much and I want others to experience it! I suppose that's off topic though.
Just want to note, as someone who relies a lot on subtitles, stupendium always does a fantastic job including the lyrics in a way that makes them part of the video, a part of the experience but still readable. It makes me feel like I'm not missing anything by having CC on or my live captioning taking up a third of the screen. He really uses font and transitions perfectly.
👍👍👍👍
But when you turn on captions it says [music] lol
Looks like youtube screwed you over.
i listen to it so much that i dont need to see lyrics or listen to the music 😎
Yup. I have trouble hearing words lol so I love when music videos have proper lyrics or at least proper captions and not auto captions which are always laughable
(A moment of silence for the kids and teens who have relatives who insist their habit of asking “what?” is not in fact a genuine inability to hear right / convert sound to words the first time, but rudeness to be criticised and snapped at.
That sucks. And they’re wrong) x
I cannot believe that ever since the original 2017 edition, I am just now noticing "Keys" could be a reference to keyframes used in animation. It's the smaller details like this that really improve the sheer quality of every Stupendium song.
Inbetweens, breakdowns and keys are ALL types of animation frame. And keys are always found in-between breakdowns. ;)
@@TheStupendium I didn't realise passing, contact and extreme were animation terms as well, I only realised that ups and downs were!
I assume that pun was intended already in the game? Haven't played it, but I've heard Stupes refer to "finding the keys" in Art of Darkness too (about Chapter 4) so sounds like it's probably a game mechanic.
I took it as literally and musically so I also missed the animation reference. Good line ether way.
Don't worry, i noticed like, in December and i really love this song and listen to it often.
3:37 As a animator I got the walk cycle joke. Those words are each poses you have to get to while making a walk cycle. Great Easter egg!

Are those the only walk cycles with names or are there others?
I can’t possibly describe my feelings on pen and paper, let alone keyboard. This ink-redible remaster sounds so much more eerie and spine-shivering than the original if that’s even possible, since V1 was as perfect as can be!
Congratulations on 100 Episodes Stupes! Nothing could have been more fitting for this monumental milestone than going back to basics and coating this phenomenal phonographic fire with a new layer of ink.

This is a great classic I agreed
This is actually the best
those sound like words...
amazing
Heh. Fresh coat of _ink._

Yo, it’s the guy from Animator’s Hell!
Thank you so much! :D

@@jart1984 right???? I first thought so too, but nope! Stupes draws their own art, animates their own videos, and build their own sets, props, costumes etc! It's absolutely inspiring if you ask me! So much passion and love in each piece! It really inspired me to try out more new things too haha

Doki Doki may be the one that placed this channel on the map, but it was this who created this foundation. I know its cheesy, but knowing he was suppose to retire from RUclips after this upload just changes our perspective to a lot of what we know.
I've been listening to him since Art of darkness
Nice joke👍 ain't no way I almost put the finger emoji 😂
Does Stupes know that this is the best Bendy song ever made, right?
Honestly, what is not to enjoy about this one masterpiece? It has great writing, an eye candy of an animation, insane rapping and vocal talent and an earworm of an istrumental.
And now it's even better with the remastered. Enormous props to you, Greg. Never stop doing what you do, cause you'll always have a great fan in me

"Just how deep this inkwell goes is remaining to be seen"
I literally have an OC named Inkwell bc this line jumps out at me every time I listen to it. My brain took one listen, slammed its fist on the metaphorical desk, & went "Now THAT is one HECK of a good OC name." I was looking for a name anyway, and the lyric actually fit really well- shes a bit of a meta character, bit of a free spirit, and answers to no one, least of all me.

Happy 💯th!

Fun fact: He plans for a Bioshock song to be his last song
@@Red-Apple4 That's... a long ways off.
He's actually already done a Bioshock song as a collaboration with Freeced
@@zomtato8002 Oh really? Perhaps I’ll have to look into that, Bioshock 1 & 2 are some of my favourite games of all time so any and all content Is a gift lol

Straight up just stole the pinned comment on the original video... Didn't even bother to update the timestamps.. Pretty embarrassing buddy...
A Bendy reference in a Bendy song? No way!
Great job
2:46
Thank you, Jacks! :D
I loved the original FIND THE KEYS song, but this is just a straight upgrade. The silent part from 3:25 just is perfect. Good job
VERY creative! AND I'm old enough to really appreciate all your references to old cartoons. THANK YOU - LOVED THIS!!!
You know... this remaster made me respect the original even more.
Bravo!
The sheer number of animation refrences in this song is insane
First of all, congrats for 100 vids!
Second, this remaster is AMAZING! I really like the change you did at 4:05.
Oh my god that's so smart stupendium's lyrics work on SO MANY DAMN LAYERS
It's intentional look at the lyrics it's underlined
His pictures also right there
Walt Disney made the name personality and species for Mickey but ub made the design and I don’t know where it says Walt took credit for it
3:07 is that freddy friggin fazbear in the foreground
Yes it is
Honestly, I’ve heard the original so many times, the slight changes genuinely catch me off guard. Still, amazing work 👍
ive listened to it alot too while doing the dishes and i didnt hear a single difference other than that one clapping sound before bendy knocks down the camera
cant believe i hadnt seen this one sooner , the rubberhose animation you’d done for this is fucking PHENOMENAL ?? its so authentic i am Obsessed oh my goodness
Bravo ! 👏
I love how Bendy and Boris sounded like Mickey and Goofy
The remaster that we didn't deserve, but truly needed in these trying times 👏👏👏
I hate myself from never knowing and hearing this! This 100% One of my favourite Bendy and Horror Songs Ever!
I remember not being able to watch this due to age policy, but I got that clarified and fixed and can enjoy this masterpiece. Well made, addicting lyrics, references to other horror things, catchy beat, very addicting. Glad to see it come back.
AHHHH THE NOSTALGIA
I've been watching you basically since this song came out, your channel has come such a long way since then! This remaster is fantastic, I know the original by heart and my goodness the improvement! I don't know a thing about making music but it's already been good and now it's just incredible - and the little touches like the voice edits here and there and that silent creepy bit with the Ink Demon rising up? So so cool
Well done, I shall be addicted to this song once again XD
(Also as someone who is still a huge fan of BATIM, this is awesome to see!!)
OH MY GOD I REMEMBER THIS IN 2017 OR SMTH THIS IS STILL AMAZING
The remaster is so good! Can't wait to see what you've got in store for us!
Ah, the nostalgia. I remember being utterly amazed by this song when it 1st came out but this sounds so much better than the original!
