No but actually though, then every couple months i revisit every single on if his songs. Just the wordplay and puns alone in these songs is insane, excluding the music videos and replayability
My thanks goes to the unknown passenger for his sacrifice to make Charlie a happy murder-locomotive and thus sparing our most precious Stupes and Dan. You will always be remembered as saviour of musical greatness. Bless you.
I can just imagine “Hey I’ve got an awesome song I’d like you to be a part of!” “Awesome! I’m in!!” Gets kidnapped, tied up, and sacrificed to a murder train. “This… isn’t what I had in mind.”
Stupendium’s production value is finally getting CLOSE to matching the quality of their songs. It’s truly a speacial thing to watch an artist you’ve watched since the beginning finally get what they deserve. Love you, Stupes.
The fact that you built a train from the game is absolutely sending me off the rails. The song itself has my engines fired up and rearing to go full speed. Like, G-jeez dude, your productions keep making me more and more envious! Beautiful as a Mallard my guy, sharing this to the group chat (yet again)
"You might say we've got a loco-motive..." I'm floored. The amount of puns you guys do while still making amazing music is truly astounding! Kudos to you all, another amazing song I'll be listening to for a long time, looking forward to the next one 👍
I love catching the musical theatre references in Stupes songs but I can't believe it took me five months to realize this one (if i'm correct lmao) At 4:49, "If killing a priest, a vicar, a grocer, or postman or three is villainous?" may be a reference to A Little Priest from Sweeney Todd. In the song, Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney discuss hypothetically turning various community figures into meat pies to serve in her shop. Among many others, they bring up the titular Priest and joke about whether a meat pie is made of Grocer or Vicar (it has to be grocer, it's green).
What a masterpiece! Thank you Stupendium and Dan Bull for blessing us with such a stunning song! The visuals are absolutely incredible! What an insane amount of effort and talent!
God, the chemistry between Stupes and Dan is INCREDIBLE! In every scene it's clear y'all are having an incredible time and constantly playing off eachother's zaniness!
Well, can’t say I was expecting this, but I’m glad to have another Stupendium song, especially with Danbull helping out. What an absolute fever dream of a song about a fever dream!
Holy crap. *Holy crap.* All of these are earworms, but how do you *do* this? I can't think of a single professional songwriter that can consistently pump out fantastic songs like this, and you're the performer, you do animations. How do you *do* this, Stuperman?
You blew me away with "The train's not just canceled, it's damn well deplatformed" and the lyrics that comes before that. It is so clever and at the same time it fits narrative of a song so good.
Okay, Stupendium's quality hits new levels every video. The cinematography is stunning and every scene hits hard. As always, another Stupendium bop of a song!!
My favorite part of this entire song is the "Engine, Engine Number Nine" part. The synchronized bobbing up and down was just perfect and really sold how creepy this song can be while also being playful. It perfectly encapsulates how the game is taking itself so seriously despite the ridiculous concept of a man eating Spider Train. The utter ridiculousness of the concept is just hilarious while also being completely taken serious in the actual game just like the song. Edit: After a lot more listens it seems this entire song just loves referencing train related rhymes and songs. Absolutely astonishing
@@sarge6508 Don't know the second one but the first one is definitely Bendy. And while I think it works I find Bendy much scarier than Charles... Like if you've ever seen Choo Choo Charles it's a really dumb game and kinda hilariously broken in a lot of ways
@@cragl3yman343 I mean,Even if its broken it's quite impressive since the developer is one guy. The game is actually good when you find out what goes on behind the scene
@@akarts8854 Oh nono I'm not saying that as a jab to the dev or anything. I LOVE this game. It's super weird and fun. I just am desensitized from it all and just fine Charles more hilarious than Scary.
I really wonder, in sections where they are singing out the side of the train, you get moments like at 5:33 where Stupes hat gets tilted sideways and they just leave it there. Was that intentional? Because it REALLY sells the whole "we are going mad" aspect. Well, that and Dan's absolutely unhinged grin throughout the song.
Once again another bop, I expected nothing less from a duet between you and Dan. Also I have to say the render of Charles in this song looks more terrifying than the original. Well done to the artist behind it.
I love how your production quality is getting gradually more intricate. We’ll have a feature length film tucked neatly into a six minute song soon enough. Have a nice day, man, and keep making excellent tracks Get it? :)
I don't get it I just don't understand How you're able to construct these absolutely perfect rhyme-schemes packed full of clever wordplay Every single new release I am once again baffled at how creative both you and Dan truly are, especially when working together! I mean come on "Chugga-chugging on blood as he chew-chews you" has to be the single best use of the cliché "chugga chugga choo choo" EDIT: In other news, new phobia unlocked: A-track-nophobia
i love the line "charles is the only train thats running", cause its a cleaver double meaning. charles literally runs at you on his legs, and a running train also means a train thats arriving and leaving.
That and, besides you, there’s no other trains running. It’s literal I’m more than one way: He’s literally running, but he’s not just “running” in the sense he’s working, he’s the only one that is working until you showed up.
Holy shoot, Stupes and Dan have gone _off the rails_ with this one! This isn't just a music video, it's a whole short film! I know for sure this one's gonna be a perfect addition to my playlist. Incredible job, all of you!
The synchronization during "engine, engine number 9" was absolutely flawless. My personal favorite part of this gruesomely artful peace that you've both masterfully made. Well done!❤
it reminds me of the little nightmares 2 song they made. at one part they did this too, only a brief part an di absolutely loved it, I was soo glad seeing it again in this song. It's very statisfying
The fact that you actually built the train from the game and the fact that it looks so cool and detailed is just stunning. You actually just ripped it from the game into reality.
@@TheStupendium Brilliant! And more props to you mate, you’re one of the few folks on YT I know of who keeps interacting with their community, that’s pretty cool.
I love everything about this video, The song itself having a sort of industrial feel - while still feeing unnerving to a degree, the props looking like they've been ripped right out of the game, and even the filming spot being an actual railway! Everything about this is perfect, it's just like what I imagined it being! Everyone who worked on this did an amazing job, it's perfect!
Dan really embodies the deranged railroad engineer vibe, it's beautiful. Stupes is like if the cog-in-the-wheel bureaucrat from The Fine Print worked for a crooked maniacal mining magnate and ended up getting a few loose screws along the way Great stuff as always!
sometimes to cheer myself up i just go to a stupendium vid and sort by new to see stupes still enjoying all the praise they get. i'm really really happy for you, man. and i love your music too
Who knew you could make so many train-related puns in one song? Seriously though, I felt like the one fast verse went a little off the rails, but as always, you crazy nerdcore members are always able to conduct yourselves in such a precise manner! I'm glad that all the wait coal-minated in this amazing video!
holy crap, that choo-choo Charles model is so cool and, in my opinion, the best 3d animated choo-choo Charles I've seen. also, I like that unlike other songs that focus on either Charles or the Archivist, this focuses on the cultists and the regular denizens of Aranearum
I love how on the line “16 tons of scurrying death” it sounds like the song 16 tons, I’m not musically versed but I’ve listened to that song enough to hear it. All the puns and lyrical references you work into songs is amazing❤
Just something I want to say really quick. After listening to this about a dozen times I can't stop noticing how well you guys harmonize together. It's genuinely really cool. That combined with how much fun the song is really cool, incredible job guys.
That Stupendibull Mining Company sign is genius! You two look like you had a lot of fun making this together. All the train puns are genius! The "loco-motive" line!! So good.
This was not what I was expecting took my by surprise I knew what game it was but didn’t know what this would sound like and now I do and I love it. Incredible Choo Choo Charles song Stupendium and Dan Bull have a marvelous day 🤘🤘👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm glad Dan's influence has left a clear and visible mark (A whole verse dedicated to innuendo) on this song as well (Not that the Stupendium doesn't have that capability we all know one particular song)
This was absolutely fantastic. Your work, as ever, remains exemplary in visual execution. Your performance and that of your guest were both magnificent. My especial favorite was, as ever, the tight weave of your rhyming couplets. I remain envious of your ability to pen verse.
Coming back to this song (among others), I really appreciate how whenever Dan and (edit) Stupes cooperate on a video like this, they reach a level of gleeful insanity that they definitely couldn't when kept separate.
3:53 is a solid highlight not only with the really cool visual of them bobbing up and down in beat with the flow but the changing from normal to cultists attire That and the flow of the verse is great! Overall! Another absolutely stupendous video that flows so well and has a killer beat! Hurrah for Stupendieum!
This is why I love you Stupendium, the production value, the acting, the outfits, the sets, the lighting, the special effects, collaborating and the great rhymes and beats, for a horror game I've never even heard of before, It's beyond entertaining
I love trains, I love horror, I love Stupendium, I love Dan Bull. I am the target audience. This is so frickin good y'all! Y'all knocked it out of the park!
You know, it takes quite a lot of effort to make me LOVE a song about a game I've never heard of, but this- it pulls it off quite handily! The wordplay, the rhyming, the puns, and the sheer amount of CHARISMA! Bravissimo!
This was jaw droping, the costumes, the acting, the as usual absolutly awesome lyrics, and the good narrative presence of Charles throught the song, as they fear him and need to keep him fed to survive, and also the incredible replica of the Train just incredible, Bravo to you two for making something this awesome
Love that depending if you watch Dan Bulls's or Stupendium the intro and outro are slightly different. If you watch Stupes, they show up later and say the 5 minutes line, and for the outro they're the one that dozed off. But if you watch Dan, he's the one that shows up later and say the 5 minutes line, and dozed off in the outro Really cool 👏😎
how the hell did you come up with so many train puns? thats not even rhetorical, it seems physically impossible, but yall did it. favorite pun goes to the line "el choo-choopacabra". great work as always, will be bouncing up and down like yall did at 3:59 for the next month
Probably one of my favorite less serious songs of yours. It is a good song to just vibe to. If I had the game, I would play this on loop while playing.
It's astonishing how high quality your videos are! They've always been a cut above the rest, but this past year you have been one-upping yourself at every chance you get!
This has no doubt. Made my St Patrick's Day hundred times better, Wha an actually, absolutely unexpected head banger. You and Dan are to good for my ears
YES! I love a good “Sixteen Tons” reference/sample. It seems appropriate for a coal-driven train. ‘A dining car’? Really? *groan* Wow, that was a very risqué verse. Excellent work on the quality of the video and the song, as always, to you both
as a steam fan myself, it is amazing to see how much historical stuff there is in this, and if you look on the seat where the guys tied up, its says GWR, which was and is a real-life railway company that operates in the west of Britain (hence the name) also the coach used in this one is quite possibly a British railways mark 1 coach, and for those who don't know what British railways was, they were a company formed together in 1948 right after ww2 because the rails and rollingstock were so overused.
Whenever you make a song I never know weather to focus on the lyrics or the visuals since they are both so detailed! (Also love the masks and costumes in this one.)
BE SURE TO WATCH DAN'S ALTERNATE VERSION TOO FOR NEW SCENES!

LYRICS:
INTRO
Sleeping deep beneath the sleepers of the isle
There’s a demon creature dreaming, heathen and reviled
Sees no rhyme or reason but for feasting when he’s riled
Better let him be, lest you are sure to see the smile
Of sixteen tonnes of scurrying death
Smouldering souls through funnel of red
With a pick-like grin on the front of his head
Sat atop a most illogical number of legs
VERSE 1
Tickets, please! Let me tell you the tale
Of a wicked beast, that’ll follow your trail
Through the valleys and vales, on your tail day and night
There’ll be chaos on the rails when the railway strikes
Stop, take stock, try to gauge the situation
‘Fraid your train has been derailed, there’s no use waiting in the station
Every engine’s been dismantled, there’s no other service coming
Charles is leading by example, he’s the only train that’s running
All in all, we're in a doozy of a mess
So, all aboard the WTF express
Should you want to stay safe, then I wouldn’t play games
Or you’ll learn another way of saying, “Run away! TRAIN!”
CHORUS
Every life has a light in the tunnel ahead
But you might just find that behind it instead
Of a heaven is an engine and the devil inbred
And we’re next on the menu if we’ve left him unfed
Charlie
Your timetable says it’s almost time for tea
Charlie
And we’ve laid on quite a spread, as you can see
There’s a choo-choo train
Coming after you
Food chain’s
Gone a bit askew
Won’t catch that train
If it’s gonna catch you
VERSE 2
For certain worse than what they say to mind the gap for
The train’s not just cancelled, it’s damn well deplatformed
Since it scampered off the tracks to find a snack from off your back lawn
Couple jackdaws and your cat and then your dad from off the back porch
He’s hungry and he’s hunting down the islanders
With a side of any siding-hiding bystanders
Quite queer what his dietary requirements are
But it’s pretty clear regardless he’s a dining car
Coke? Coal? Petroleum? Alone they’ll never do
No, this engine sends the scent of rendered flesh out from the flue
On this service we’ll be serving something rather more unnerving
Chugga-chugging on blood as he chew-chews you
It’s all true, choo-choos consume fuel too
Humans are a whole new consumable and whole food
Gluten free range and more renewable than coal too
So, who to choose to chew to this tune? Ooh, you’ll do
CHORUS
Every life has a light in the tunnel ahead
But you might just find that behind it instead
Of a heaven is an engine and the devil inbred
And we’re next on the menu if we’ve left him unfed
Charlie
Your timetable says it’s almost time for tea
Charlie
And we’ve laid on quite a spread, as you can see
Charlie
If we sate your lust for flesh on which to feed
Charlie
Will you promise to eat them instead of me?
There’s a choo-choo train
Coming after you
Food chain’s
Gone a bit askew
Won’t catch that train
If it’s gonna catch you
MIDDLE 8
Engine, engine number nine
On the Aranearum mining line
If your train comes off the track
Better run, better run, or you won’t come back
VERSE 3
Hey, guess who! This is déjà vu
Like HS2, you’ll be railed right through
Penetrated in the vein of a mainline route
When we come, well then, we’re gonna run a train on you
You might say we’ve got a loco motive
To provide the train with a load of groceries
Locally sourced from the local folk, dear
Granny’s s’posed to host, although she’s toast when the smoke clears
The el choo-choopacabara, the beast come to dine
And it’s far worse than leaves that he leaves on the line
You’ll see when he feasts in the deep of the night
By the pieces of people-y debris left behind
Riding off-peak? Don’t be ridiculous
The worth of your season ticket is
Quickly diminishing with every pillock
We’re feeding into his gleaming scissorous teeth
But if we seem insidious
We’re just uneasy villagers
Seeking to keep the most hideous beast
We unleashed from committing the deed of killing us
If killing a priest, a vicar, a grocer or postman or three is villainous?
Well, what’s it to me? You probably see the feast is imminent
Keep on screaming, pump the bellows, he’ll be drawn to your duress
Charlie loves a little murder on the goriest express
You can ruminate on whether there’s a certain train near
Or pray that it’s a rumour made to circulate fear
But in case you didn’t hear then I better make clear
This train terminates here
CHORUS
Every life has a light in the tunnel ahead
But you might just find that behind it instead
Of a heaven is an engine and the devil inbred
And we’re next on the menu if we’ve left him unfed
Charlie

I love how every stupendium song that’s released I start off thinking it’s good and then it slowly grows to be the only thing I listen to for a month.
This is the most relatable comment😅
Ikr once I listen to a song it’s the only one I watch for the next week or month then go find another one or listen to it again
No but actually though, then every couple months i revisit every single on if his songs. Just the wordplay and puns alone in these songs is insane, excluding the music videos and replayability
You too aye?
Then you release you are 10 years older.
4:56 imagine if he was saying something like "oh no it is Dan bull he is going to rap to me oh no where is the Stupendoum?" That would be crazy innit?
That is what he was saying
My thanks goes to the unknown passenger for his sacrifice to make Charlie a happy murder-locomotive and thus sparing our most precious Stupes and Dan. You will always be remembered as saviour of musical greatness. Bless you.
Thanks indeed!

Murder+Locomotive= murdermotive

Schwabadi, I thank you for your sacrifice! I'd have done it myself, but I wasn't in the video.

“Awesome! I’m in!!”
Gets kidnapped, tied up, and sacrificed to a murder train.
“This… isn’t what I had in mind.”
Stupendium’s production value is finally getting CLOSE to matching the quality of their songs. It’s truly a speacial thing to watch an artist you’ve watched since the beginning finally get what they deserve. Love you, Stupes.
Give them a few more songs and it will be matched
Have to disagree as I feel the quality of both has always matched since they're both incredible.

The fact that you built a train from the game is absolutely sending me off the rails. The song itself has my engines fired up and rearing to go full speed. Like, G-jeez dude, your productions keep making me more and more envious! Beautiful as a Mallard my guy, sharing this to the group chat (yet again)
So happy to be a part of this video :D great fun!! Love the track!
Thank you so much for being involved! Loved having you aboard! :D
You must have escaped being eaten, I’m so relieved!
I bet you weren’t so happy when you were tied to the track. 😋
Sorry, couldn’t let that bad pun get away.
Was the pun intended?
"You might say we've got a loco-motive..." I'm floored. The amount of puns you guys do while still making amazing music is truly astounding! Kudos to you all, another amazing song I'll be listening to for a long time, looking forward to the next one 👍
I KNOW RIGHT?
I love that this line has 3 meanings. ! being a train. 2 being a crazy train. and 3 being that they have a crazy motive for kidnapping Shwabadi
What an insane production this was! All of you guys have NAILED IT! Poor Shwabadi though...hope someone can untie him eventually!
Oh, someone definitely will.

Can we just take the time to admire the "Run away! Train" and "Dining car" puns?
"W T F express" was my favorite
Still can’t get over “this train’s not just cancelled it’s damn well deplatformed”
@asdf ghjk Same imo that’s the best line in here for the humor value alone.
"Railway strikes" is another one I like
The whole "run a train on you" verse is great.
I love catching the musical theatre references in Stupes songs but I can't believe it took me five months to realize this one (if i'm correct lmao)
At 4:49, "If killing a priest, a vicar, a grocer, or postman or three is villainous?" may be a reference to A Little Priest from Sweeney Todd.

There's this good cop bad cop thing like dan's all morbid whit it while stup's like "yeah we'll kill u now shut up"
"Charles is the only train that's running." Yeah. Running. That dad joke will get you sent straight to hell, Stupes
He might already be there. I haven't heard of a vehicle this unhinged in Britain.
That’s exactly what I thought “Charles is definitely RUNNING”
Dan Bull was also here
@@noodlesoup7794 that is true, he did amazing as well lol
A lovely duet from our dear Stupendium and DanBull!
They look like they are having so much fun! Honestly, I like the not so serious vibe of the song. It fits with the nature of Choo-Choo Charles.
Now I know what Shwabadi was saying in the background now, thank you Stupes
My favorite part of this entire song is the "Engine, Engine Number Nine" part. The synchronized bobbing up and down was just perfect and really sold how creepy this song can be while also being playful. It perfectly encapsulates how the game is taking itself so seriously despite the ridiculous concept of a man eating Spider Train. The utter ridiculousness of the concept is just hilarious while also being completely taken serious in the actual game just like the song.
Edit: After a lot more listens it seems this entire song just loves referencing train related rhymes and songs. Absolutely astonishing
Reminds me of some other games like the one where there's a demon created out of ink to work at a theme park only to get locked in a tomb for years
@@sarge6508 Don't know the second one but the first one is definitely Bendy.
Also my favorite part
I really wonder, in sections where they are singing out the side of the train, you get moments like at 5:33 where Stupes hat gets tilted sideways and they just leave it there. Was that intentional? Because it REALLY sells the whole "we are going mad" aspect.
Well, that and Dan's absolutely unhinged grin throughout the song.
That was a happy accident that we thought looked cool! :)
In the wise words of Bob Ross just a happy little accident
I could have sworn this was a train... Must have been my imagination!

How you're able to construct these absolutely perfect rhyme-schemes packed full of clever wordplay
Every single new release I am once again baffled at how creative both you and Dan truly are, especially when working together!
I mean come on "Chugga-chugging on blood as he chew-chews you" has to be the single best use of the cliché "chugga chugga choo choo"
EDIT: In other news, new phobia unlocked: A-track-nophobia
i love the line "charles is the only train thats running", cause its a cleaver double meaning. charles literally runs at you on his legs, and a running train also means a train thats arriving and leaving.
That and, besides you, there’s no other trains running. It’s literal I’m more than one way:
He’s literally running, but he’s not just “running” in the sense he’s working, he’s the only one that is working until you showed up.
4:25 stupes sounds so ridiculous when they say "THE EL CHOO-CHOOPACABRA" you had way too many giggles I can tell
Its not a complete replica, but heavily based.
I’m really hoping the Dev of Choo Choo Charles knows of this, this song is so good it would be criminal for them to not know of this!
He does! :)
The song having the vibe that I crave from niche bands like Caravan of Thieves where the instrumental an vocal tone just goes all over
Dan really embodies the deranged railroad engineer vibe, it's beautiful.
Stupes is like if the cog-in-the-wheel bureaucrat from The Fine Print worked for a crooked maniacal mining magnate and ended up getting a few loose screws along the way
Great stuff as always!
A few _more_ screws loose.
sometimes to cheer myself up i just go to a stupendium vid and sort by new to see stupes still enjoying all the praise they get. i'm really really happy for you, man. and i love your music too

I love how when you say "sixteen tons of scurrying death" the rhythm slightly changes to that of Tennessee Ernie Ford's classic.
Dan's presence elevates everything that he's in. I love how you guys are always so in sync with each other. We NEED to make Stupendibull a thing!
Nice to see the Dean Forest Railway helping out with this. Definitely helped add to the aesthetic.
Just something I want to say really quick. After listening to this about a dozen times I can't stop noticing how well you guys harmonize together. It's genuinely really cool. That combined with how much fun the song is really cool, incredible job guys.
The Set Quality, The Outfits, The Lighting, The FREAKING OPENING, AND THAT BEAT! You never seem to cease to amaze me, Mr. The Stupendium!

as a steam fan myself, it is amazing to see how much historical stuff there is in this, and if you look on the seat where the guys tied up, its says GWR, which was and is a real-life railway company that operates in the west of Britain (hence the name) also the coach used in this one is quite possibly a British railways mark 1 coach, and for those who don't know what British railways was, they were a company formed together in 1948 right after ww2 because the rails and rollingstock were so overused.
This puts the term "trainspotting" into a massive inverted skew. Always an absolute joy to watch the work of you and your colleagues.
"The train's not just cancelled, it's damn well deplatformed!"
This enby deserves a flippin medal for their lyrical creativity.
That line had me literally LOL.
