- We get straight to work on our latest build!! The front of this 90 has bugged me since it rolled into the shop, I suggested a S90 HUE front end to simplify the styling whilst adding a touch of class.
Huge thanks to the surprise delivery from Red Bull UK which I'm so excited about!! They've saved me loads of cash fuelling my team on the best energy drink on the planet!!

I had forgotten how rusty vehicles get in the UK.
I live in Canterbury,NZ now and my defender 110 DC is a 2014,with zero rust anywhere,no salt roads and a dry low humidity climate.

this is a great looking vehicle now. I have a factory fitted sunroof in my 300tdi 110 CSW which never leaks, it used to but once i'd taken the glass off and cleaned the rubber seal it just doesn't leak and I've been through some pretty wet weather in the last 5 years! Condensation when its cold is a different matter though :):)

Another great video guys but let’s get down to it. Red Bull, if you read these comments, get these guys to produce and create a Red Bull Defender and by this I mean a complete bare metal, full nut and bolt restoration with Red Bull custom paint, custom interior, sound system, the works. Who else would like to see a full series creating such an iconic vehicle for a such an iconic brand.

Water from the water cock has surface tension and isn't useful when looking for leaks. Rain water has no surface tension and can run through small cracks and leaks. Nice build and awesome guys.

Another great video guys. I'm only playing at Land Rover ownership with a Disco Sport. The wife wouldn't let me near a Defender... I'm totally biased with the colour choice - mine is black packed Indus Silver - this is defo one of my favourite builds that you've done. Awesome to see a Mini on the channel - looked great - owned and worked on plenty of those. Nice to see the paint bubbling in the usual areas :D The wheel/tyre combo are perfect.
I'm still trying to unsee those four inches of arse cleavage though...

Hi Sam, Isn't it such a shame that LR didn't take the time to put anticorrosive coatings on all the bracketry and fittings all over the Defenders and just allowed them to rot away.. looking at the frame and mounts for the grille on this one @5:36 for example. I've found that every piece of steel on my Keswick Green Puma that isn't painted green is rusty!!

Do you think a Santana could fit the same seats as a Defender? I'm in the process of a rebuild in southern Spain right now, and most of the garages where I am aren't very familiar with Land Rovers. Love watching your videos man, they inspired me on this journey with my '88 109.

Is there a noticeable difference with the dynamate hood insulation Inside the cab while driving?
No, not at all on mine. Money for old rope.
You’ll have to do the full soundproofing to notice the difference, just the bonnet would reduce rattle/ vibration but wouldn’t really reduce the noise all that much
Ok thanks, this is what I was expecting...
Insulation of the cab made a huge difference, so I was hoping to improve it further with an insulated bulkhead and hood. I'll think about it.

Looks great but why use crappy rusty bolts and washers for the bumper and grill fixing. How much more money would that add to the finished build, to replace with new?. Appearance is everything.
As always, great work Mr. Juice. With regards to the sump guard, if you have one laying about, I’d be interested in working together to do a remanufactured component from brushed aluminium. DM me if you’re interested :)
There is one rule everyone should follow: Never remove orange lights from a Defender.

Juice, are they genuine headlights? Or aftermarket ones. Any recommendations. I was looking at the wipac halo for replacing mine. Cheers.
They’re aftermarket but Land Rover bought them direct from Nolden, give Nolden a google and you can purchase from a supplier. I’m not a great fan of the Wipac headlights, they look weird
@@juicemotors cheers. Its either wipac or jw speakrr. Any headlights for defenders are expensive. Mind you, anything for defenders is expensive! Cheers for the reply

I feel a bit embarrassed for asking in the last video where I can get the wing Defender plates...
That old bull bar/A bar was butt ugly! Facelift looks great - the repainted bash plate really makes a difference. But I couldn't really see that changing the headlights made that much difference, apart from your desire to move the lights and bumper back towards OEM spec.

Does look much better than before i think due to being a silver Defender, if it was an all Black Defender lights, grill as before would look better but without the bull bar. Steering guard better in Black on Black vehicle i think, Colours are very important with everything. We all have our favourite colours so just my opinion guys.
I wonder what it would look like in black! Wonder if it would suit it, or would the lines be too hidden? 🤔

Hi Guys, It looks wonderful, except it isn't a 110! What is that awful noise when no one is talking, workshop sounds (or Noises) are far better. NARRATION & NO MUSIC (NO MATTER WHO'S TASTE!!!!) IS FAR BETTER. Regards, Ian.
