Installed the DiHool switch after watching this video. Had previously installed a Boat Battery Disconnect Switch and a 400a inline terminal and fuse. Tried to make an adjustment to the setup and the terminal post broke off in my hand can't say I would never trust another one in the future. I believe the DiHool might be a lot better option. Love the option if the DiHool trips it can be reset. Thanks for the idea.

Some really great tips in here, especially about your preferred disconnect. I'll be using that one in a 2004 Foretravel U320 my friend and I are fixing up at the moment (just a side hobby of ours). We already have installed the Cerbo, Smart Shunt, and same Multiplus II as you used in this project. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience, it's really great to see others with a similar mindset. Do it right because you can be proud of your work, and owners will enjoy a trouble-free experience for a long time.

Great timing! We have a foretravel on the schedule! Question, where did you mount the cerbo display? I don’t see a good way to get it where the old monitoring was.

@@sotasolar We're putting it above the microwave in the same location as the original ProSine panel. That part hasn't been installed yet, so I regret not being able to report on how the wiring run is best accomplished. The small Cerbo display should fit perfectly in that spot, though.

What are the dimensions (height and width) of your cable raceways? I am updating to Victron and want to 'do it right' this time and hide/secure the cables out of sight. Thanks for the inspiration!

      amzn.to/4bv096T 3" Raceway
      amzn.to/4bw0aHH 2" raceway
      Both are 3" high.

@@sotasolar I see why 3” high. My cables won’t fit under anything shorter with Victron devices.

    No dc dc charger?

No, without running a dedicated line from the alternator it’s not a good idea. Customer didn’t want to do that.

You know, that’s been floated by folks before. And it’s sorta true.
