What a big game for the Tigers. Benji's leadership and choice of player preference has paid off. It maybe only the early of the rounds so far but boy, results are starting to show. Olam 2 tries and Siezer a field goal. 2 new reputable players in the side along with the youth and a great captain on board. I can see something brewing in this new look team. Eels didn't capitalise on most of their chances. They had a lot of chances. They should have gotten 2 points multiple times when it mattered. They under estimated Tiger's defense and it cost them.

Benji has this team on the right path and with Morris on deck as well . Galvin said. I love playing for Benji. The group is responding. And little things like a new team song counts. He is smart and signalling the new era. Does not give two hoots about last year.

Good to see that Api Koroisau is getting the rewards with each West Tigers win. Certainly building belief and success early in the season to be playing finals in 2024.

Tigers put on a fantastic defensive effort for the majority of the game. 5 sets in a row, constand calls against them and they held eels out. One player down and still held them out.
