As a dogs fan that was shocking. 26-0 at half time against 12 men for most of the match and you let it almost slip away from you how TF does that happen? That defence in second half started reminding me of last year.
The effects of the Ciro "defensive coach"
The effects of the Ciro "defensive coach"
It was almost the biggest collapse since Dr Hewson
As a raiders fan I can relate
Shocking. But atleast we didn’t let it slip.. roosters is a solid side, some teams would’ve folded. We stuck in strong
These Fijians don't take it easy on Tedesco when running at him.😆
Had flashbacks to that Sivo hit a few years ago! Call an Ambulance!!!
Teddy has the worst technique ive ever seen he tackles with his head i think his carree is over and he be patato by 50
Not even a doggies fan but them jerseys are iconic.
Love a kfc Jersey
FACTS!!!!!!
Ikr!
Kikau is an absolute WEAPON without him the bulldogs struggle....
What on Earth is Radley supposed to do there? He’s making a genuine tackle attempt!
Edit: watching it again it’s definitely not a hip drop and it’s just a knee on the calf so I honestly don’t know
It’s a hip drop, don’t shoot the messenger I’m only explaining why and it’s because he leaves the ground and drops his body weight down on the leg/legs of the player while he’s still upright
@@scottdalton7197it’s a penalty because he took the player above the waist and let his weight drop. Not a sin bin because he didn’t have any other choice but it’s basically the same as a player who falls into a swinging arm of a defender, accidental and almost unavoidable but always a penalty. Personally I would have said play on.
New to NRL. What are these hip drops penalties about? Union fan so it’s all
New…
Yeah that’s was ridiculous. And Jack wighton last week wasn’t even a penalty
@@letsgethappypod5263 a hip drop is when someone tackles the ball carrier above the waist and drops his whole weight to bring him down easier. Player’s have picked up serious injuries because of it, so it’s a good rule but sometimes the refs get it wrong like they did tonight.
One of the gutsiest efforts by the chooks I've ever seen playing with only 12 men on the field and then in the last 10 minutes with only 11 men but hats down to the Bulldogs they played us so well in the first half with 26-0 the score at half time. Hopefully we can bring in Sandon Smith for next week in the halves he's been so good recently.
Team needs to get off its high horse they always come out sluggish like the other team is going to just give them the win. You got the big names but you've got to put in the hard yards too especially at the start.
Its not a real Roosters game if Radley doesn't spend at least 10 in the bin
Hes gotta have the yellow card record😂
The amount of forward passes was amazing 😂
Keep crying kid
Mitchell Moses was drooling. Best quarterback in rugby league
No one in rugby or league has any idea what a forward pass is unless it's a few metres forward, it's disgraceful.
@@UncommonSense-wm5fd NRL referees were trained by the WWE Referees school. Tv commentators trained by Stevie Wonder.
Blondies pass 😂😂
imagine almost losing to 11 blokes
Imagine losing....full stop😢
Imagine losing 2 men and crying you didn't get hammered enough
Sharks vs Warriors Rd9 2022
Imagine renting living week to week like yourself
Imagine losing to bulldogs and a somewhat under strength Penrith side
Imagine being Connor Tracey, perfectly positioned and unmarked on the wing and not receiving the ball all those times. Most underrated player in the game. Even by his own team mates it seems.
Ciro said in the press conference he was injured which is why he didn’t get much ball 2nd half
@@isaac-jt4bd thanks for the explanation because we'd love to have him back at the Sharks. Never wanna see that kinda talent going to waste.
@@johnburke6332bro the sharks aren’t winning anything bud just gonna get bounced out in the first round of finals
@@rickychavez4968 Well, Chavez. Guess this day had to come sooner or later.
Everybody just mad at the Dogs because they tipped the Chooks.😂
Yep it busted my multi
@@vampirewilde Yeah me too.😂
Hard!!!!
But but you guys barely won against 11....blah blah
Good game but Bulldogs need to maintain their Defence for 80 mins not 40mind
I agree out attack has somewhat improved but defense is still lacking. And Ciro was meant to be a "Defense coach" lol
This match was just brutal with HIA’s and injuries. Not to mention though Stephen Crighton stoping play for his ‘hip drop’ and staying on
Hilarious that Xeri and Jennings made their return in the same game 😂😂
Didnt Xeri make his return a few games back?
@@PepeAgain1025That was a trial game
@@Jp-do9ny so still means this wasnt his returning game or do you not know what words mean
@@daveross1638trials don’t count against official appearances. This was his first game back in first grade, it’s pretty obvious what he meant.
@@daveross1638Are you trying to sound intelligent or just being obtuse? By your logic, a game at the park is a return game.
Hutchison needs to go Bring back sexton at 7
Agree Hutchison gotta go. But sexton can’t tackle. He got bullied by the attack. Thank goodness Burton was there to cover him
hutchinson is terrible, sexton is more of a 7 but defensively not that good and very frail, we still need to buy a 7
Radley got binned for being Victor Radley. Nothing else. There was nothing wrong with the tackle.
Nice couple of sneaky forward passes in the 1st half 🤔
Kikau fend on manu was awesome, reminded me of .....manu
Tedesco you still never learn 😂😂
Dont tackle a Fijian when you see them running straight at you 😂😂😂 🇫🇯
The absolute state of nrL defences this year.
Where ever Guz Gould goes, the Rugbly League Gods Follow
After scoring all those tries in the first half..the bulldogs forgot to tackle in the 2nd half..
As a raiders fan, I can’t talk about the bulldogs second half cause we would do the same 😂😂😂
Truly a valiant effort from Easts!! Not a fan of them at all but to play like that for so far behind
Penrith bulldogs nearly lost to a 12 man team.
Only lost by conversion kicks.
They still got 2 points and roosters got none, so does that really make you feel better?
It does actually, because I don’t mind the bulldogs and considering they were leading 26-0 I would have been embarrassed for them if they lost.
@@mritsme9901 Missing the point bro sure a win is a win but considering how they almost lost a 11 man roosters team is pretty crazy
Ha, I see what you did there. Very amusing!!!...Lol
They shut up shop at half time.. a lesson will be learned
I'm not a bulldogs fan but it's good to see them win congratulations dog's👍👍👍👍👍👍
2024 the year that defence was forgotten
Thought that the Roosters would win this match. Talk about a game of 2 halves.
On course to get the wooden spoon in my own personal footy tipping competition where I am the only player.
Things to note:-
Taaffe showing why Souths should of kept him, and played him at fullback. Moving Latrell to centre. Massive mistake by Souths.
Dominic Young didn't deserve a send off.
Many suspect passes in many tries.
Bulldogs almost blew it.
From an unbiased league fan, Young should have got binned only
He literally put the guy to sleep. I'm all for punishing the action and not the outcome but Jesus Christ. He obviously got him with a lot of force to knock the guy out
Unbiased and intelligent are two different things.
From a chooks fan, Young got what he deserved when he went after the bloke that stopped him from scoring a try moments before.
Lol
He shot out of the line and knocked him out lol
It was good He went off anyway because he was shitting himself everytime Kikau ran at him lol
Hollow victory if ever there was one.
Still looking for the hip drop. Pathetic decision.
He leaves the ground and puts weight on the legs, aka hip drop
@@user-ms1po9nv9x Wasn’t a Hip Drop, aka wasn’t.
@@user-ms1po9nv9xhip drop with no hip? Tf
Kikao carried at least half of the try’s
That was a crazy game 😂
26-0 up at half time against a 12 man Roosters side who lose their Captain & halfback to concussions. Go on to win the game 30-26 with Roosters down to 11 players having scored 5 tries in the 2nd half. Sounds more like a roosters win than a bulldogs win, bulldogs had full strength squad, maybe they need 1 more panthers player 🤣🤣
Yeah that second half was shocking
No lol sounds like a bulldogs win, dogs lost their fair share of players and came in the side under strengthed (no foxx, presto, morrin) and then lost taafe arguably the best in field as well as curran for a HIA and edwards. Dogs won lol and was an awesome effort by both sides
Boohoo. A win is a win. On to the next.. keep moving forward.
@@arza0932Didn't Say Its Not A Win, Said It Sounds Like A Roosters Win.. Please Read Or Stay In The Basement
@@shayandaryanend of the day doggies still won. Roosters coming off losing to a clearyless panthers and the bulldogs. You got to remember it is the doggies. Roosters holding the L
Even the Bulldogs couldn’t throw that one away.
I thought Ciraldo was meant to be a "Defensive coach"? If true we shouldn't have leaked in those tries
Yeah he only came up with the Penrith defence system which is the best we've ever seen in the NRL. The blueprint is there for the bulldogs they just have to learn to commit for 80 minutes. The coach can only do so much mate it's up to the players.
Dudes a hype job. Ivan makes all his assistants look better than what they are
@@Jp-do9ny Webster took a outside of the 8 team to top 4 last season and still look atleast top 8 this season so your kinda wrong there, if anything Dogs should've been after Webster
The Bulldogs looked like a good defensive team in the first half, then the psychology of being 26-0 up kicked in in the second half, and the players allowed their nerves to get the better of them. Winning is a habit, and so is losing, and they don't change overnight.
Dogs diabolical in the 2nd
A wins a win but the dogs absolutely shat the bed in the second half.
Good one Kikau great hit teach him a lesson
A fan at the Knights v Dragons game had a Snorkel on. Tomorrow's games are gonna be played with Flippers and Goggles. Ferries will be available at the entrance.
Dom Young is the best defensive winger I've ever seen.
Dom young masterclass in defence
That hit on Teddy by Kikau was very sweet
A wins a win no matter how you get there
Can the Bulldogs keep this jersey?
With a collar? What’s that about.
I’m a warriors supporter and the amount of forward passes allowed is shocking
Thank God for Burton, he won them the game
yeah with his forward pass try at the start
@@alexsa1617 makes up for the tackle without the ball @ 1:42
How far forward was the pass for the 3rd try 😂😂
And the second try as well
Shows how we were willing to fight in that game 12 men down at 26-0 coming back to 20-26 and then nearly winning is crazy imagine if teddy was still on in the 2nd half but no excuses we lost we need to admit it
Ref: Victor, let's get this week's sin bin over early.
Victor: How about in the 24th minute?
Ref: Hang on. I'll check with the producers...No it seems that we've got Jarred going off in the 21st minute. Could we do it before the try in the 27th minute?
Victor: High tackle, crusher or infringement on the line?
Ref: Surprise us, Victor.
the ofload prior to burtons try looked forward
Yes , it sure did.
A win is a win. Go Doggies
As a doggies fan the team done well to hold off for the win but they can not get complacent like that in future games.
Kikau killed Teddy
The pass for Burton's first try was way forward.
Dom young mindset “ full back for full back “ 🤣🤣🤣
But Tedesco got knocked-out for terrible tackling technique.
wow the dogs are shocking, had almost everything go their way , calls, send offs, roosters injuries, against 12 and 11 at one stage and still almost lost after leading by 26 -0 lolll, good luck next week against storm
I know people are saying the defense was shocking but it was also pouring rain. Both sides struggled
Far out that some good footy!!!!
Another epic game of footy
The late Manu try was a double movement - what game were the officials watching?
Anyone else feel that pass was forward?
The forward pass is just an excepted part of the game now. You see it all the time, and it’s just let go.
Yeah actually enforcing forward passes would change the game. Many flat balls would actually be forward.
can you explain what a forward pass is
@@anotheruserism That’s a good question, I don’t think anyone knows what it is.
Bulldogs improved 💪💙💙
Burton at fullback critta back in the centre
With that lineup, chooks should be ashamed of themselves for that 1st half
As a broncos fan, I’m happy for the bulldogs
The Mighty Roosters 🐓🐔🐓💙♥️💙♥️💙♥️💙
Those 3 tries of forward passes though🤔
Then only winning by 2 missed conversions
Even though you played the whole game against 12 men.
Up the Doggies, they are heading for finals for sure. 😆
Dogs should win the comp from here
Get that into yah tedesco haha knocked
Dom 'Arm Swing' Young. Huge defensive liability
Go the Bulldogs nice win against the Roosters
@nrl why don't you post conversion attempts?
Only a team like the Dogs could almost lose a game against 11 Men 😂
jennings still in the league wahahah what a suprise
Welcome back Jennings
Absolute Dogs
Big crowd 😂
Big Money Signings V Ticker, Coaching Pedigree and Training ethic - I'm backing the latter come finals
Not a doggys fan, but they need to keep that classic look.
A similar margin of victory to the 2004 NRL grand final, four points. Dominic Young looked like Superman when his shirt ripped open like that.
Panther Boys doing damage for the Dogs..Kikau is like a run away train carving the Roosters up😂😂😂 felt sorry for Teddy trying to stop Kikau Train at full steam heading towards him.Hope he is okay,Kik should invite him for some Kava to help in recovery.
Unfortunately Tedesco put his head in the wrong position. I hate the Roosters but I don't like seeing anyone get injured, and I hope he's ok.
Mr beetroot was having kittens maked all sorts of excuses
The Bulldogs weren't used to winning by that much and so weren't used to maintaining it.
Im a Dogs Fan but i'll give credits to the Roosters
Anyone coulda been forgiven for thinkin' they swapped jerseys at the break!!! Talk about implosion!!!! Doggies were bludy lucky to hold on but fair play, a win's a win. They play like they did in the 2nd half against Storm next week & they'll be crucified.
11 men and roosters still put on points doggies should of pumped them easily
Dominic young a defensive liability. Maybe not such a good buy after all. Toupou and Sualii on the wings, manu and billy smith in the centres looks much better.
So much to underestimate the dogs
Tedesco needs to try to stop tackling Fijians now
Remembered when Sivo sent him to the Shadow Realm
Not Fijians only but all Pacific islanders
Must have missed when he sliced Radradra on the try line
@@whoistheunknowngod-acts1723based on what? Teddy's been smoking islanders for a decade

Dogs do this every game, put on points and complete first half and get destroyed 2nd half. Lucky Young got sent off and the sin bin in the last 10 minutes. Chooks made a good comeback but shot themselves in the foot.
And if Dom’s swinging arm was not to Robbo, the world is watching a different dangerous tackle Bulldog fullback endured.
Utterly dangerous swinging arm.
