Anyway I’m starting with this film which seems like a good place because it’s a organisation of your old wips for going forward. It’s a great idea when you’re losing/lost your stitchy bug to do the knitting too and cover both. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this film and seeing all your fancy ladies again! 👏🏻 I shall continue watching from here and going forward . 😊

You are so organised! I have so many cross stitch WIPs in bags. I only really do the American primitive type ones. I've done the one that's behind you with the little house. I have a Victorian Postman on the go which has been in a bag for about 5 years. Every Christmas my husband asks when I'm going to finish it. I have Little House Neighborhood finished and actually in a frame but with all the edges hanging out - haven't got round to mounting it. It's been like that for about 3 years. I've done various In a Garden (I think that's what they're called) - again, all still in bags. I just get inspired by something else and move away from things. Hopeless! At the moment, it's knitting frogs and other little animals.

I do think you sound finish the Butterfly project and frame it, it's be a shame to lose all that work. I really like the wedding verse, very thoughtful of you. I've just started cross stitching, really hood to get into it. It's easy to become overwhelmed with projects. I knit and crochet and lost my mojo due to having too much on the go. Opinion - I would do one more butterfly for your butterfly chart, call it quits and hang it on the wall because it really is pretty. I think if you try to finish off all the way to the twelfth month it would put unnecessary pressure on you. I know it would on me. That little Beatrix Potter mouse is so so adorable. No I haven't finished her . She is in another box safe at the back . I wasn't happy with her skin ( 1 over 1 ) and it took away my enthusiasm. I also wasn't happy it the floppyness of the fabric. I learned a lot of lessons from that piece, I know what I like more but I see every thing I don't like when I look at her ( not the design ) 😕 I think stitching on other things that bring me joy is a better use of my time 😁

All your projects are so wonderful! Would you feel ok to just reverse the August and September butterflies and then continue with the next three?

Oh no, poor butterflies. I'd put a seam ripper to the wrong one, then put it away to pick up later

Thankyou for inspiring and motivating me to get my cross stitch out , get it sorted and rekindle my love. Also love your Beatrix Potter on your wall, was this a kit and do you know if it’s still available? It’s gorgeous and would love to stitch it for my son who is becoming a foster Dad this year x

Sorry no it's not available. I bought the kit from Aldi but swapped out the fabric to hand dyed. You could try Ebay. There was a lot of them on there at the time , hopefully you will be lucky x
