Hi Laura!!! I am thrilled that I got to keep you company! And the best thing about flosstubes is that they are infinitely patient in waiting their turn to visit. Your work is just gorgeous. I'm amazed by all the projects you get done. I recently found your youtube channel (a few months ago) and I of course subscribed and now I am binge watching all your videos from the start to present time, I have enjoyed them. I use to cross stitch many years ago back in the 80's & 90's then it got pushed to the side. I am getting back into cross stitch and I'm loving it more now than back then probably because of the fabrics and patterns options and the ability connect with other cross stitchers thanks to the Internet, Youbtube, Instagram & other social media. Keep up all that beautiful cross stitching you do and the wonderful content you provide on your channel. Thank You!🪡🙂

Thank you fir saying you got your browns backwards. I did that on a little bunny project too this summer. Also on a project with trees i kept stitching the wrong shade and had to frog alot twice. It mattered because the fir trees in the background wouldn't have looked good unless I fixed it. As to you Sewing Room by Lil Deb Designs; i personally think the drawers look better in brown (like the cubbies in your room!).

I do have a question for you about Haberdashery Shop, how do you plan to do the backstitch? I am a newer stitcher, but I thought if you are working 1 over 1 on 25 ct that backstitch with 1 thread will not work out. I would really love to try to stitch a SodaStitch pop up store 1 over 1 on 25 ct but I was intimidated by the backstitch not looking right. Hello! So glad you are cross stitching, and welcome! That way of stitching is called the "parking method" and I usually only use it on a complicated full coverage piece with many many colors. You choose a color and stitch all the stitches of that color in a 10 x 10 block and then you "park" that thread in the next place it will be used in the next 10 x 10 block. There are many different ways to "park" and many different methods. If you do a search for "parking method" you will find several to watch :)
