Surprised to see that not many nfl players actually lift in their workout...and I know everyone gonna be like ya a bodybuilder isn’t a good football player, but we all did bench, squats and cleans in high school fb, thinking it’s a essential workout to be good at football, but NFL played don’t even do them🤔
I'm sure they do when they get in camp and during the season. Cant always do the same repetitive stuff or you will burn out.

You can not workout like a bodybuilder/powerlifter and play football. It doesn't translate.

I am shocked people think you can? No coach I have ever had in highschool or college trained us like that. But there are elements of bodybuilding (certain isolation exercises) and power lifting (deadlifts, power cleans) that translate very well.
