While his inspiration may come from Hendrix, prince, Beatles, the stones and others he does not just limit himself to the typical "rock" or "classic rock" sound which is good. It's important for an artist to try new things. So anyone who thinks this is something new that he is doing and is wrong for it then you must not have heard anything by him other than are you gonna go my way! He's put a couple mediocre albums out but he still one of my fav saw him twice in concert can't wait for this one!
