I like the lobby more than the basic room. Unlike WDW DVC properties the larger units were noticeably nicer then the standard villa.

We are staying at the Disneyland Hotel in January. This may be a silly question but are we able to take my daughter to the splash pad if we aren't staying at the DVC Villas?
How does laundry room work there? Do you need to get something from the front desk if you are staying on points?
It appears to be set up for laundry cards and to take payment. Our best guess is if staying on your DVC points, you can get a laundry card to use for free laundry and if staying cash, you would use the machine in the laundry room to pay cash. There was free laundry soap available for all.
Would you get vgc or vdt?
