Brilliant on so many levels - the timbre of Mark's voice, the bass playing, the song, the piano playing, the sound mix - I could keep going Such a great performance, I prefer this live version to the studio equivalent Sophisticated pop/rock at its very best with a side order of jazz piano. Don't even get me started on the definition of underrated
Tu voz es fenomenal sueño kontigo kada noxe se ke no estas konnosotros pero me trasporto kada noxe kon tigo .i amor mark hollis mi kerido amor por siempre extraordinario artista
Before I had heard them playing this one live, I thought that they are one of the better 80s pop bands with a number of nice songs. But here they started to play a very different board game. They were just about to take off and would release three of the best albums of all time in a row. Majestic!
To wykonanie Call in the Night..jest absolutnie wyjątkowe, transowe, nowoczesne, ponadczasowe. No i głos, osoba Marka. Nieodżałowana, moja osobista, wielka strata. Zdecydowanie przedwcześnie zamilkłeś Marku i jeszcze Twoja śmierć. Pogrzebany, nieprawopodobnie wielki talent
Rupert Black on keyboards will be sadly missed. Will always remember watching them live from 1982-1886. Sublime performance and one anybody lucky enough to see them will never forget. RIP Mark and thank you.💕
Live at Montreaux is probably one of the best recorded concerts from the 80s. Everything is brilliant - the acoustics are tight - visually like it was yesterday - Mark's performance is perfect - the whole band. I miss Talk Talk and Mark!!
This was the best TT line up. Mark, Lee and Paul as awesome as ever with great support from the keyboards, percussiona and guitar. Did I leave anybody out?
Does anyone remember or know why the public screamed so enthusiastic at the beginning of the instrumental intermezzo in The Nightboy? Was it to Paul? Or to all the musicians? Something Mark did?
@@jospinvanraat8730 Thank you for explaining! Just read in Wardel's book that Phil Ramocon played a (sometimes long!) 'piano solo which clearly references John Coltrane's 'A Love Supreme' at the beginning of 'Call in the Night Boy'. Great the audience loved it so much!
@@saskiakneulman7275 I agree, you could sense the direction they were eventually going🎶🎼 I expect you have seen the Dortmund ~ 'Rockpalast' (?) recording. 🎵The public there really 'got it' 🎹

Minha banda favorita ❤🇧🇷🌒🌠🇬🇧
Because no others will ever compare!
It's like some of the atmosphere of the piano version was creeping in... this is noticeably slower than the 1984 LP or live versions...

everything about this song is great, either the studio or the live version. Its a master class on musicianship and production

Cette voix.... ce charisme
Excellent!

It was a jazz segment🎼🎶 How often do a group play such a passage.
