Gathering all the parts I need for my first watercooled build. Built many PCs over the years and decided to go all in on this build. So excited for this and EK has made everything so much easier with the Matrix7 stuff. I did tons of research on the watercooling scene and EK seems a few steps above everyone else. Not only in quality but design as well. You just can't beat the quantum lineup. The Lian Li EVO distro plate was love at first sight for me lol.
Shipping costs are ridiculous dear ek people.
There overseas tf do u expect If u getting it shipped to the states
You must not know they are in Europe
@@ballamaniac6984thats what we europeans feels about ebay-shipping 😅👍
I'd like to see distros that are integrally integrated into SFF cases where the distro serves to save space more than just make things easy. Even an FLT80 can be hard to fit into some SFF cases and a D5 is usually impossible no matter what. Perhaps EK can work with companies like ncase, Louqe, Sliger and Lian Li to come up with solutions for this space.
Thank you for this video. You guys are doing great 🙏
EK, please making more special edition water-blocks for Radeon RX 7000 series, a lot of people are running for those gpu cards.
I am so glad I have found you on RUclips. Question: I am looking at replacing my old box with a new built using the newest Lian Li O11 Vision. I am a newbyto water cooling and I am looking into it at the moment, learning. I have observed EK has specific distribution plates for different Lian Li O11 cases ... (mini, EVO, XL ) but not the latest Vision one. Would the PC-O11D EVO D5 PWM D-RGB be suitable. Looking at the dimensions I say it would fit, however , what about only fitting the distribution plate along one side only (screws on one side but not the other) ?
Would the matrix 7 case, fit in the front of the HAF 700 evo too?
Would love to see a video using the Distroplate for the O11 Dynamic EVO in triple radiator configuration with 360mm x2 and 280mm x1.
I am going to build this but with triple 420 rads (ekwb manual reffering to this config as possible
) If I don't forget, will get back to you.
I just bought Mana 2 and installed to Lian Li Evo,
My loop plan is just using one inlet and one outlet because set up another reservoir.... which inlet / outlet port do I have to use? It's radiator or cpu or gpu?
Please advise! Thank you so much!
Thanks for explanation
Hey i wanted to ask if its possible to use a distroplate for only cpu cooling and let the gpu aircooled
What's the name of the tool used for skiving fins with a CNC mill?
So when I order a distro plate, is there a diagram that tells me what each hole is for and whether it's an inlet or outlet for a CPU or GPU. Basically are they labeled so I don't connect to the wrong holes
When will 21 and 28mm offsets be available? Only able to see 3, 7 and 14mm offsets in your store
Should be within two weeks.
but it is not necessary to lead the water from each component back fin the distro plate, right? can i make a full loop with only connectin the two radiators to the distro if i doesnt want straight tubes? i mean: water from distro in radiator, then radiator to gpu, gpu to cpu, cpu to second radiator, and then the second radiator to the distro? is it possible this way? or are there any reasons not to this?
is there a way to purge air without shaking the case? e.g. a large case that you cannot shake.
Did i understand right? For Evo distribution plate and strix 3080 matrix7 block i need 7mm offset? And does the same cpu dimension also be in z690 hero and monoblock?
Yes. See "code orange" build as example
@@warpedphreak Wow thank you very much! Perfect!

Great vidéo need more matrix 7 is an awesome system
I would love to see a Thermaltake core P8 distro plate someday
This makes me want to redo my Reflection 1 O11D XL build, but really don't want to spend the $1K to upgrade after not even a full year....
How to full drain the system using distro plate? (GPU, CPU, 2 Rads)
Matrix 7 helps beginners with building their PC.
If I've already got my distroplate filled, do I have to drain it to install the Quantum Convection D5?
Yes as you have to remove the default holder.
@@Mew77778 Thanks, I later found that out from EK. Wanted to avoid draining my newly finished build if I could help it but all good now.
@@BigOlBilliam if you drained it, did you reuse the coolant you drained?
@@FlashpointLPT I did reuse the coolant when I installed the pump cover, but that's because the coolant was only a few weeks old. I'm actually going to need to tear my rig down for some fan issues, and in that case, I'm probably going to do a coolant swap.

Your name is what?! 🙃 If I wanted 2 pumps in Series or Parallel, how would i go about connecting them?! Distro Pump + Another Pump/Res Combo (I have an FLT 240 D5 - planning to get the O11D EVO Distro)
I still don’t understand what it is. So how do you know which case to use if you want to use a distribution plate
Each distro plate is made to fit one (popular) PC case, such as the Lian Li O11D Evo. We have multiple distribution plates available and you can see the compatibility with specific cases on product pages of each of these distro plates here: www.ekwb.com/shop/reservoirs/reservoir-pump-combo/distribution-plates
The only exceptions are the Mana-G2 distro plate which can be used on majority of cases with a standard 140mm fan mount and the new modular LoopHole distroplate meant for advanced users, as you get to build your own channels.
I wish ek would make a video showing how to drain systems with their distro plates
They did.
@@venividivici4253 yea just a few days ago. I posted 3months ago
can the flow be reversed??
Do you recommend dismantling the pump and cleaning it before first use with EK distribution plates?
Definitely no. :)
It’s been over 5 days and none of your representatives got back in contact with me. Also, shouldn’t I Recieve a case number for my inquiry? My email is in your system but I have not gotten anything. Can someone from EK please respond?

Mine came with a damaged thread out of the box... but EK customer service was actually very good and the situation got resolved quickly.
I wish I can find one NOT specifically made for O11’s
There's plenty. At least TRY harder... which means a non-$50USD-no-on-even-noticed case

One this that You do not understand at Ek, is that the whole purpose of Distro plates is to reduce the amount of angles and fittings to create a more efficient loop and especially spend less.
While You at EK literally make it so expensive and complex that it is worse . Frankly distro plates should also be placed at the top or bottom and NOT at the front or side, and keeping in mind to use the least possible length of tubing and fittings possible.
Thats why nobody is buying your distro plates and above all they cost a fortune while the whole concept of making acryl distro plates was about saving money.
It's not about saving money, it's about convenience of having a standard set of alignment on the ports so that you don't have to do as much custom bending, and being able to show off the coolant at the front or side. It won't work at the top/bottom because of how thin it is, and how little space you get in the case. Plus you can't use the pump at the top of the loop, it needs to be at the bottom or it would just suck air and burn out. If you want to hide away your coolant reservoir and pump, just use the traditional tube style and DDC or D5 pump, you can mount the tube either horizontally or vertically as you like.
I’m not defending their prices, but I’m pretty sure Derbaur was the one who made this mainstream at Singularity Computers. Nothing about his distro plates was for affordability. It was for looks with straight runs. It was an aesthetic option for a premium pc
These days, with the fact that many 3d printers can equip milling heads, I’d imagine ppl could custom make their own assuming they could find an accurate CAD model for their case and do the work. Finishing the acrylic to make it absolutely smooth and clear would be the most difficult part.
@@DD-sw1dd DEbauer has nothing to do with singularity computers,,,, singularity is based in Aussie...distro plates are not mean to be for aesthetics bu t to reduce the number of fittings and tube lengthyou design your own distro so to make ur loop shorter and more efficient.
EKWB DUSDTOPLATES AR ENOT DISTROPLATES, but a big reservoir pump combo with holes to add more unnecessary tubes and fittings to aloop with zero purpose.
You Use a ditro plate to make Your build look clean with less possible tubes instead d of making it look like behind the wall of a toilet or bathroom which is precisely how Lian li case with an EK distro lookhydraulic
Ma tits❤
IMO distro plates make custom water cooled setups look boring, it takes all the creativity out of the loop and most builds end up looking the same.
But they do look neat and well designed.
They are great for beginners though.
I am getting one for my O11 XL, but not planning to use a bunch of 90° adapters, instead I will bend the tubes myself. And because the motherboard is for a ThreadRipper Pro, it is unlikely that the Velocity2 will line up perfectly with the distro plate either, giving me a bit more opportunity to make a nice multi-angled bend in the tube myself.
Dont agree with you
More like marketing material rather than informative material about distro plates.
Now if only they would send out the Manuals with their products not this stupid or code bullshit
terrible explanation
