Excellent lecture but I disagree regarding magnesium. It's definitely not a catabolic mineral because it relaxes smooth muscle and it makes sleep more restful.

It makes perfect sense what you are saying. I started taking magnesium glycinate last night and while it is very relaxing and calming, it has reduced my tiredness so much that I lie in bed awake. If one has been having sleep problems one should feel tired. I have been having insomnia for the past 2 months, I have no idea what triggered it.I am fit, slim, active and have manageable amounts of stress. Perhaps the many supplements I was taking. Now all I am having is marine collagen, royal jelly and resveratrol in the morning to keep me going especially in work. Any idea how to get to the root of this and fix it?
