I would love to know more about your parents. The way that you love yourself is THE main reason I follow your channel and appreciate you so much. It’s clear from this (beautifully edited) photo montage that you’ve always truly believed in your innate beauty and worth. That must be a credit to your family for planting the seed of self esteem that you have carefully nurtured in your adulthood. Thank you for sharing this with us. 💕
This video is soooo inspiring. I'm 36 and I'm just now learning about my hair. I got my first relaxer when I was 9 yrs old because my mom could not handle my hair being curly while wet. She didn't know what products to use, how to maintain it, and she didn't have the patience. In the early 90s there wasn't a lot of products out there to cater to our hair neither. I've been natural for 5 years, but I never wore it in its natural form. Since the pandemic I started watching videos and decided to see how my hair does in its curly form and I'm loving it. It's lots of trial-and-error, but where am I going?!! As stated I have nothing but time. Thank you SheRea for this video!
Wow! This was by far The most entertaining “Hair Journey” I’ve seen this far. Your enthusiasm throughout kept me excited even through some of your challenges. Tfs❤️
@@SheReaDelSol gurrrl lol what I hope people take away from this is that just keep going! First off girl your smile hasn't changed and it is contagious! 😍 Second, thank you for showing the real! There are so many influencers that want to make the natural hair journey seem so easy and effortless. In reality there is a lot of trial and error. Thank you for doing this video. Im in my 7 month post chopped. So it definitely help to actually see the progress and struggles you went through. A lot people forget to show people the beginning of their hair journey these videos give me hope lol You hair is poppin 😍😍
This was by far the best hair journey I've watched. So relatable and inspiring... especially since I just big chop for the first time May 2020. I love your high self-confidence and how you embraced your hair struggles along the way.....
The difference b/t transition braid out/twist outs/bantu knots and natural hair braid out/twist outs/bantu knots floored me when I first started doing my hair. My transition styles had my mum looking at me like, "who are your grandchildren"; I was straight up born in 1932, full granny mode. The look was just NOT IT. But once I cut off the permed parts and went full natural (bc my patience wore out), my braid/twists/bantu outs are like curly halos from heaven. Natural hair is so amazing.
Glad I’m not the only one that went through the blonde phase. Which I LOVED! But...😭that set me back to square one. I think I’m still rebuilding 😫 I haven’t even watched yet just loved the pics on the thumbnail 🤩
@@SheReaDelSol this video was so good. I love how you extend Grace to yourself snd forgiveness. Such a great reminder that hair will grow back! Thanks!
What an awesome journey! You were young, experimented, had fun! That's what you are suppose to do at that age. I feel your hair "lived" enough for you and me. Your beanie baby days tickled me. This week I've got my hair in twists with a bang and threw on a beanie. Then reached the conclusion I think I will rock this the rest of the year unless I need to wear it out.
“2020 the longest year of life.” You ain’t nevah lied Sis! 😂 You’re looking fabulous! I really loved seeing this walkthrough of your journey, especially all of your adorable pictures. Your smile is contagious. I been hanging out with you for a hot minute. You were the first person I came across on RUclips that had a similar hair type to mine, so I was able to achieve great results using your product recommendations. I just wish I had your wash n go confidence. Lol. Your hair is so resilient, but that’s because although you push the envelope experimenting with color, you listen to your hair (so to speak), recognize the warning signs, stop and then turn it around. So many just keep going even past the red flags to a point of no return. I’ve learned so much from you over the years. Thank you! Idk if you remember me when I first started following you. My name is Terri Boyd. Jaesha is my gaming name and I switched that over on RUclips a couple of years ago. Keep up the great work. Hopefully we will be following you on your life journey for a while longer. ♥️
I definitely understand the relaxer and color part of your natural journey! 😩You pushed through and now you’re teaching us from your experiences! 🥰THAT’S called community! Thank you!🙏🏽
I absolutely adore you’re big beautiful smile in the vast majority of your pictures 😄☺️ I love how you truly embraced every high and low of your hair journey with such confidence ✨ we love to see it 💕
I really enjoyed this video. The editing was on point, the time you took to pull together 10 yrs worth of pics, and the overall story of your journey made this video top notch and enjoyable to watch. The lessons you've learned throughout your journey is paying off because your hair is thriving and those same lessons are going to help so many women, including me, who watch your videos. Thanks so much for sharing your journey with us.
I loved seeing this journey. I’m 3 years natural and I dyed my hair last year and I’ve been wearing crotchet hairstyles. You just saved my hair because I need to simplify my routine by wearing easy basic styles and leaving my color alone. Thank you! And I need those Africa shaped earrings.
You were adorable and still are. Very inspiring video. I've been back natural just a bit longer than you. Last relaxer was 9/19/08 and I BC 01/30/09. This was the 3rd time (previous times were early 90s) but I knew I wasn't going back this time. While I know I'm not going back, my biggest struggle is staying motivated with the care. Because life still happens. I get busy and can't always stay on a schedule, or have hours to devote to the head.
Thank you SheRea..because of you my natural hair care journey(1 year now) has not been that complicated my hair is growing because of the wisdom and knowledge you have shared with us...Thank you so much and please never change who you are and i thank for your honesty and your character...May God continue to bless you!😀

I've had good experiences as both relaxed oh, and natural. I am currently natural and I find it's best not to really mess with your hair and fight against a natural climate. Like you I'm in a tropical climate of Florida, and even natural I tend to keep my hair tied up. My current goal is to grow another 10 in length
