I have the Radspeed XB and absolutely love it. Got it for a superb price on sale. takes all the boxes for me - sound, feel, accuracy - the only thing I am missing is the matt top finish which they got now in the LTD X ! Well done cobra! superb golf drivers and by far the best value!
Picked up the Cobra LTDX last week and it's a bomber! This week I picked up it's little brother.. the 3 wood. Great sound. Great distance. Great dispersion. It's a winner.
@BloodySoup74 I got fit for a Radspeed 3w last year and I think it's in the bag to stay. Never hit a 3w that long and consistent. I tried most brands with my heart wanting Mizunos to match my irons, but Cobra is out performing everything for me right now and their prices are making my wallet happy too.
When you hit the Cobra, it sounded just like the Callaway. I knew the price was low, and when you showed the distance data, I knew you would pick the Cobra LTDX. It does look to be a winner.
It's funny you noticed the consistency in the Ping. I have the 425 Max and was hitting it the simulator yesterday and was surprised when I hit every drive to almost the same distance no matter where I hit it on the face, and with a tight dispersion.
Had the tsi3 for last 18 month and i always said it would take something very very special to display it. Cue the cally rogue st max and this will be my new driver for this year. I gave the stealth and cobra stx a good demo but always ended up coming back to the cally rogue. It's knocked it out of the park this year has the cally for me
The LTD LS is a bomber because it has a forward CG with an enormous amount of mass at the front of the club. This will mean you get more ball speed and lower launch on centered strikes, as born out by the results. Problem is that it has an MOI of 4300 which is incredibly unforgiving and would most likely cost you over the course of the season. Compare this to the G425 max which will give up 10 yards or so, but has an MOI of 5900!!
I now own the LTD LS and I'm having better luck hitting the fairway than I did with the Ping G400 and I was fitted for both. I gained a lot of carry and rollout is averaging 25 yards on the winter turf here in N. Carolina. My mishits are as long as my good hits were with the Ping. I like Ping products but the sound and feel of the 425 is really bad to me.

I love these kind of videos. Im guessing fairway woods and hybrid videos are coming soon rly looking forward to that. Im looking for a new fairway wood and hybrid
Been fitted for a new driver but struggling with it. Pick up my old 2009 Cobra S9-1M offset driver and it sails past any new driver both in distance and straightness
Neil: I still play the Cobra F9 driver wich I felt is the best for that year and I still have not found that the newer driver can still keep up with...Could you do a comparison between this New Cobra LTDX vs the older F 9... to see if it is worth the buying a new updated one...Thanks....
When oh when will golf publications, videos and instructions give information, advice for the majority of golfers out there. I know it's not you fault, but 314 yards, to get that distance of the tee i would need to carry it in my pocket for the first 100 yards.
Pretty simple. Buy an inexpensive used large “game improvement” driver and use it until it breaks. Be that 5 years or 40. Your scores will only improve thru instruction and hard work. What driver you’re using is of zero importance. Driver technology came up against PGA/USGA design constrictions 10 years ago. Any new technology is merely marketing BS at this point. Now if you’re a 5 handicap or less you may find a driver that suites you better but if you’re a chopper with a 12-30 handicap it doesn’t matter what game improvement driver is in your hands. It’s that simple. 😏
Since I had my m2 have not found a driver that I have really liked - and tried even bought several- including Pxg amongst others (though as a leftie sometimes choice even to try out is limited). But I finally found the driver that I like, gives me confidence and am striking very well and performing - the Taylor made stealth. Unfortunately was not able to try cobra or callaway before but given the stealth is working really well and I like the sound, feel and look of too no need to venture further. Rest of bag - six different brands in the bag really good. So now a great complete set.
I have the ping g410 and it goes far and straight, and I really don't have any reason to replace it, but I've been itching for a new driver. I told myself I wouldn't leave the ping brand because of how well the g410 worked for me, but I can't help but be absolutely in love with the LTDX (the blueish /purpleish version) and the Titleist tsr3 drivers. Love the sound, looks, and performance of both.
I'll tell you around my club only one people are talking about is the stealth, but in all Fairness talyolrmade came out and was having a demo test day. I played 9 with the whole bag driver, woods, irons and they were good the but besides the drive I wouldn't trade my 718s. Hitting a M6 driver and woods and think ill wait a year till can find some used ones.
I ended up with a new Callaway Rogue LS driver after going to a few demo days at my local course. I wanted to try the Cobra but I couldn’t find any local demo days to try it out. Bummer. I will say if the Big 3 drivers I did hit the Stealth the longest but not quite as consistent as the Rogue. Plus I’m still not sold on the durability of carbon.
Not surprised at all of the outcome, LTDx is very consistent and neutral flight driver with great sound and feel. Of all the 2022 drivers this is the only one that has all of these factors and also a price tag of 450 eur that is about 200 eur less then the the most expensive drivers of 22.
Great video and very very well done explain all the different aspects. I've been playing with the cobra f8 irons, which I absolutely love but I'm still using my old driver which is the Callaway xr. Which was given to my by my nephew. I am extremely curious in the cobra Ltd x driver.. I just can't justify spending so much money on 1 club. Does someone like you who uses and tries out soo many different clubs know where I coukd find a cheaper used one by chance?
For how much press and promotion the stealth got you see a lot of them for sale already But that cobra ltd ls is a beast without all the shouting that the others have done
Noticed you played A 10.5* in the Cobra and 9* in most others. Was this by choice or availability ? I ask because I have been in Cobra F9 and Speezone and always at 10,5* and sometimes adjusted up or down 1* depending on the head configuration. After a fitting I noticed my launch and spin were too high on the 10.5* and didn't get on it tuned down 1* but hit it great in 9*.
Yesterday I hit the worst shot of my life on the G425 and it ended up being a perfect miss. Low fade that landed middle of the fairway. Love my G425 Max
Rick Shiels did a series like this a while back testing the last 5 years of each brand, it's really good. If you search "5 year driver test" they should come up.
Thank you for that. I have read somewhere else on the internets that Tour Edge has made a very permissive driver this year too. I am from North America and I don't know if that brand is available is the UK, but would it be possible to insert them in the list? The brand is more and more used on the Champions Tour, which is closer to what us amateurs can do on the course :). But other than that, it feels like the drivers did as expected. No big surprise for me, from the numbers what I understand is I can stick with what I already have. Very interesting to watch.

What a pity we don't get PXG golf clubs in Oz! If we did the price would escalate up towards the level of the premium brands , as have Cobra and Mizuno. It has something to do with Australia being much further from China than USA or Europe! I know it isn't true. At least we get Wilson and Cleveland clubs at a reasonable price.
