I've recently started playing again after a 13 year hiatus. Tested loads of different drivers at a fitting yesterday and just ordered the standard X, it felt head and shoulders better than all the other ones I tried. Can't wait to get it on a course.

I have never used a Cobra driver before, always gone with Ping . .. but this time i went with LDTx! Simply because it's insane for distance, forgiveness and feel. I spent two hours in the fitting centre putting G425 up against LDTx and the Cobra outperformed. Good review and a seriously good driver!!

I have played the F7, F9, Rad speed and the LTDx. F9 was my favorite but the LTDx has taken the spot. Great driver.

I picked up a Speed Zone Xtreme a couple weeks ago, and it's a massive improvement over my Cobra F6+, so I don't see myself buying a new driver anytime soon, even though your numbers show that there has been a definite improvement.

I moved from the Taylormade sim driver to the cobra for more control and I love it. I get really good distance, love the ball flight I get as well. Good driver

I had a Sim and it felt like a shaft with a hammerhead at one end… I just felt so disconnected from my drives. The moment I picked up the LTDx it felt like everything was connected and that the club head and shaft are at one. In 4 rounds of use I cannot believe the improvement. Really forgiving, long and sounds sweet. Highly recommend a fitting…. Shafts make a big difference so may take a bit of trial and error but worth the time invested.

Very thorough review, thank you. I'm going with the LTDx this year. I normally hit the Callaway drivers every year. I'm looking forward to the LTDx. I've never hit the Cobra drivers before. I honestly never gave it much thought because I didn't think they matched the quality or performance of the Callaway drivers.

I really like Neil's reviews. For me the LTDX is the driver of the season, for me it gave the best ballspeed and consistency of all the 2022 drivers. Takes the G400 Max out of the bag 👏🏻

Have had a Cobra Amp Cell driver with a stiff shaft for many years and actually still enjoy using it. Now that I am winding down with cricket (my son is now playing higher grades than me), am in the market for a new driver, mainly to give me the same forgiveness as everyone else is getting with their modern sticks. The LTDx will be the very first I try. Agree the RadSpeed's green looks more striking (says the old time Kawasaki fan), but the LTDx still looks very nice if more understated. And the LTDx definitely sounds nicer. My annual bonus came in today, so off to the pro shop tomorrow.

Great review, very tempted & am in the market to replace my M5 but access locally to get fit might be tricky

I played a Cobra SZ 460 for 15 years, so I trust Cobra products…….I will be looking to get a new driver in the spring…… the LTD will get full consideration!

Some interesting facts on reviews this year, and I almost seen them all, nobody mentions shaft options. Last year it was shaft this and that but not any longer. How come?

I use F9 fairway woods but did not quite like the F9 driver. I’m looking forward to testing the LTDx

I have an F9 refitted to my specs and I’m perfectly happy with it, so much I got an F9 3 wood and did the same thing. Great clubs for the top of the bag. The 3 wood is my favorite club in the bag.

Question : If you ever hit the Callaway Mavrik would you say the Cobra LTD X is better in accuracy , distance ?

If acoustic golf adds distance and accuracy, I’m buying…but, it doesnt

LTDX is a piece of crap. I have a PXG 0811 that is 2 years old and so much better. Cobra clubs blow in general.
