I tried a couple of LAFCO’s Christmas fragrances in 2018. They were nice but a little light in intensity and throw for my tastes. Thanks for sharing your experience with Champagne. It sounds refreshing. Sometimes ginger can get out of balance and sharp. I’m glad to hear that that’s not the case with this scent. Thanks
Hi John, Great review! What would you say is your favorite upscale candle brand..LAFCO, diptyque or nest? I’m thinking of trying one in the new year, strength and burn time are most important to me... (And if possible I would still like to keep it under 100$) Hope you have a wonderful New Years 🥳
Oh! Good question! I think I would go with NEST first - their candles last a long time. You can get some smaller ones like a 2oz size for $18 or so. That's a good way to try some out without spending $$$. I think Diptyque are complex fragrances that are hard to describe and might not appeal to everyone. LAFCO is great and they last a long time too. But they're a little bit weaker in my experience.
This scent smells so good!
Nice presentation and the scent notes sound wonderful! Thanks for explaining this candle.😁
Thanks, Renee! Some of the other LAFCO candles I have tried have been light but this one has been pretty strong without being overwhelming.

I've had other LAFCO candles that were pretty light too. The peony one in particular was light. The Vetiver Sage one is STRONG!
Have you tried the LAFCO New York Champagne candle? What did you think?
